Blackout Hollywood Pub Crawl

I went on this pub crawl as a part of a bachelor party. The coordinator was very easy to deal with and quite nice. He was also very enthusiastic.
I spoke to my group and the main issue was that the pubs/​bars chosen were promised to be unique and exciting. The first few were quite bland and tired. Very dive like. It ended with a couple good ones.
Overall we had a fun night (which I guess is the point), but that was more of a factor that we were all together rather than the poor choices of stops. Our tour guide also didn’t really interact with us nor try to engage us.

This place is shady. I purchased a groupon in October and couldn’t attend the October event. The owner said he would contact me with other events. I wasn’t contacted again until December and never again after that. Seems like its a poorly run startup business. The website is rarely updated and there are rarely events. Seems like a better deal to just go to these bars on your own.

My friends and I went to this last Friday as a group thing and we had a blast! Briton was very nice and helpful, although it wasn’t a big group we still had a blast and made friends with the other couple that went. We went to all the bars and ended up at a club so all in all the night was very successful would definitely do it again!

Great crawl, lots of fun. Great way to network, connect & meet new people. Host was very professional & accommodating Briton I believe is his name. Definitely recommend. I work service industry hours & glad someone has something fun for me to do on Sunday nights.

I have been to a lot of clubs around Hollywood but not bars. Blackout Hollywood was a great chance for me to explore bars on a budget. I bought a Groupon and decided to use it on Labor Day weekend. Briton was our host, a very friendly guy. He went out of his way to accommodate us. We had additional people joining us last moment and he made it work. We got free cups which we used at the bars to drink.
We started around 7 pm and were done bar hopping around 1 am. Every bar we went had a specials on beer and hard liquor. Briton told us that pub crawl gets better deals than even happy hour prices, which is great. He bought my friends a round of drinks, which he did not have to but he did… so thanks for that.
The crowd was cool (about 10 of us). I ended making friends with a couple of girls in the group. There is a little of walking so girls wear flats. I recommend eating before you get there because you will be drinking a lot. My favorite bar was Cabo Cantina and yes I did get the giant margarita (about $ 18) and I think the last bar, can’t remember the name but it had some good post drinking food for $ 5 each.
Make sure you park your car in 24 hour structure so if you get too wasted you can get your car the following day. Overall great night, I had a lot of fun. I will definitely being doing it again.

I had an amazing time with my girls. Can’t wait to go back. The owner even bought us shots and drinks.

I had a great time on this bar crawl! I could not even make it to the last stop because I already had too much to drink. The owner gave us free shots and drinks at many of the bars. All the people I met on this thing were a hoot, & it’s a great way to make new friends when your new to the city. For sure going again. :-)

Had a great time from start to finish! Met a bunch of new people and overall had a blast! Well most of what i can remember… haha
