Cafe Mirelli

I think I have lunch from Café Mirelli at least once a week. Food is always fresh. I love, love, love the lentil soup.

I haven’t tried any of their food items yet, but I sometimes order a cappuccino from here when I’m on the go. Coffee’s pretty solid (they use Peet’s). One advice is to bring cash as the minimum to spend is $ 10 for a credit card transaction.

I haven’t had anything that I didn’t like yet. Their sandwiches and salads are super good. My favorite is the chicken pesto panini.

It is nice to add another lunch spot to my list of places to eat at lunch. Literally right across the street from my building. This location is quite small, only about 3 tables (2 seats each). But the staff behind the counter were really nice.

Love, love, love Café Mirelli! I’m always blown away by the fact that they are so fast and efficient even in their busiest rushes. The place is super cute, small, spotlessly clean, and always well organized! Love the owner. She’s the nicest lady who goes out of her way to make sure everyone is happy. The food is always perfect and so so tasty! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Just had the Black Forest ham sandwich. It was perfect. Here’s why I didn’t grant the location a 5 star, the sandwich is «accompanied by cole slaw or pasta salad» however I didn’t get it. I read everyone’s reviews about the owner Marie about her being very nice. This is a true fact, however I just witnessed her drop a whole tray of muffins on to the floor but instead of throwing them away she put them back into the display case.

The soups — OMG the soups! They are all delicious! I never thought I would say pea soup is good, but here it’s great! Soup option changes daily.
I work in the building and this is a great go-​to place for lunch. The owner is very friendly and all of the food is fresh and tasty.
Breakfast bagel sandwiches, coffee, cold and hot sandwiches, fresh salads (the chinese chicken salad YUM), and did I mention the soup!!!
One thing to note — the café is small with only a few tables, so usually i just carry out.

LOVE Café Mirelli! The owner, Marie, is always so nice and everything is super delicious! There is no where downtown like it. I used to work in the building where they are located (the lobby). Now that I’ve moved to a new job a mile away, I still make the trek a few times a week to get my soup, salad, and sandwich. Everything is always so fresh and tasty that it’s worth the effort! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you work or visit the downtown area!

Solid four star breakfast and lunch spot if you’re looking for convenient, fast, and very good food.

The soups are out of this world … I only had a chance to try three of them, each time they burst with flavor… Next time I am ordering food to take home for dinner. My husband will certainly appreciate it…

i usually get their breakfast sandwiches with avocado for 5,6 bucks and man… are they DELICIOUS!
they put half an avocado in the sandwich! so fresh so tasty! it’s definitely a very healthy choice! I can forget that it’s not home made and I actually bought the sandwich!

I’ve worked in this building for about a year now and Café Mirelli never fails me. With a whole host of different food options, I couldn’t be happier knowing that this spot is right downstairs from my office.
Breakfast until 11:00 am.
* Favorite #1 — Lox Bagel (filled with red onions, capers, cream cheese, on any kind of bagel you want!)
* Favorite #2 — Egg and bacon sandwich on wheat bread. Simple yet delicious!

* Favorite — BLT on a french roll with coleslaw… omg, yum!
There are so many options here with the coffee, pastries, ice cream, drinks, sandwiches and salads, daily made soups and snacks. Plus its a great bonus that the owner is so friendly and personable.

Working in 915 Wilshire, I can’t help but be a fan.

If you want your trip to Café Mirelli to be even faster than the likely short wait, you can always order ahead and pick it up.

I usually like their soups but today the green bean soup was watered down and tasted like rusty water. I hope they are not using unfiltered faucet water to make the soups now. Although I love the owner as she is so nice, I wouldn’t want to stop being a customer. If you are using unfiltered faucet water, it is unhealthy to your customers. Stop!

The owner is very nice and the soup selection is the best. All of her soups are pureed and are very delicious. I highly recommend the tortilla soup!

As Jason K. mentioned, this place is NOT in Echo Park. I’m very fortunate to be working in 915 Wilshire so Café Mirelli is a regular lunch spot. Most people call in their orders and then swing by to pick up. I prefer to chat it up with the ladies who work there. So far, every sandwich, salad, and soup I’ve eaten has been awesome. My favorites are the smoked salmon, hot roast beef, and reuben sandwiches.
The service is quick and friendly. However, the café is small which isn’t ideal if you’re planning to eat there.

unassuming little café inside 915 wilshire downtown…(not in echo park)… very clean and thoughtfully prepared food…
you’ll find your typical sandwich fare… roast beef, tuna, veggie, smoked salmon… etc…served with a side of pasta or coleslaw… couple salads… and some soups…
i highly recommend the smoked salmon sandwich ON CIABATTA (this is crucial… the ciabatta offers 30% more bread than the other options… meaning more surface area… meaning…more salmon…) the smoked salmon tastes fresh and… smokey…and the cream cheese spread + capers + tomatoes is paired perfectly… if you find that choosing between pasta salad and coleslaw is difficult… just order both for .75 cents more… both are freshly prepared every morning and are delicious… this grand meal will set you back around $ 9.
if you work within a 2 block radius of 915… come try the smoked salmon on ciabatta… with 2 sides… you (probly) wont regret it!
