How can you beat a free concert with excellent bands and a beautiful setting?
This park and the concerts are great! There are a lot of food trucks around the park before during and after the concerts. These events happen on Sundays but check out their web site to confirm if an when they are happening.

You can’t go wrong with concerts and movies in the park. Every Friday and Sunday during the summer (alternating) there are events happening in Playa Vista.
The movies are family friends and the concerts are a great mix of cover bands and other groups that appeal to a wide variety of people. The other great thing is that a ton of food trucks show up for this – yum! So no matter what you are in the mood for there is usually something to strike your fancy.
Bring your blankets and chairs because there isn’t any seating provided (it’s a park after all) and make sure leave the dogs at home if they aren’t well behaved. When the venue moves over to the clamshell on the either side of Playa Vista, dogs aren’t allowed there period. Bummer. But they are in concert park.
