I was craving some delicious pupusas so I Unilocaled and came across conchitas. It’s an unassuming little hole in the wall but they deliver! Most other mom and pop operations dont. I ordered my favorite items that I grew up on so I tried the cheese pupusas, the revuelta pupusa and for sides the sweet plantains and a cold horchata to wash it down. Now I’m pretty picky when it comes to my people’s food and I gotta say conchitas is onto something. It’s very authentic and the delivery was on time and super convenient. Check them out! Highly recommend them if you want Salvadoran home cooking :)

I hope the owner reads this: I ordered from postmates and according to postmates it said it will take 35 mins for my order to be prepared, I had no problem with that. As my postmate delivery guy gets there he texted me saying its gonna take an additional 45 mins for my order!!! At this point I was annoyed because I only ordered two pupusas and fries! Why would it take that long! When I get my order after 1 ½ hours the order was wrong! I ordered one cheese pupusa and one bean and cheese, instead they gave me two cheese only. Also the fries tasted horrible, it tasted like they had them in the freezer for a very long time. The salsa/sauce thing that came with the slaw tasted more like water with hint of spice. The slaw was just whatever. I really want to give this place another try but I don’t want to be waiting hours for my two pupusas and to have it wrong again.

My friends and I ordered burritos and pork stew. Those of us who ate the stew ended up getting food poisoning and three days later, I’m still sick. To be fair, I enjoyed the food when I ate it, but the consequences will ensure that I never eat at this restaurant again.

This place is filthy, FILTHY! The pupusas are nothing more than greasy pan fried tasteless doe. There is no filling in the pupusas what-so-ever. The salsa is week and watery, the slaw was sour and tasted like vinegar only. Don’t Bother…

The pupusas here are on point. At ~$ 2.75 for each pupusa, they are humongous! Even for my boyfriend, one pupusa can be enough. On Monday-Thursday, they also sell mini pupusas(which imo are still pretty substantial lol). The best part about this place is that they deliver for free if you spend more than $ 25! But just be prepared to eat a lot of pupusas because it’s going to be A LOT of food. If you live in the area, you should definitely try their delivery service. They even texted us to let us know roughly when it would arrive. Fantastic.

Hidden little gem that serves up some really good Salvadorian food! We had the pupusas which were good I love when the cheese comes out and it’s crispy at the end! The fried platanos were tender with real Salvadorian beans and crema. Definitely will be back to try the rest of the menu!

Cute little mom and pop shop. It wasn’t crowded when we went and the lady running the restaurant was extremely nice. Our food came quickly and it was super tasty.

I had a chicken burrito from Conchitas by way of ubereats and it was excellent. If there was cheese, it was barely there, which worked out in this case because it allowed for the sour cream to really stand out. I wasn’t able to find it on their online menu but I will definitely stop by and make the trip for seconds.

BESTSALVADORIANRESTAURANTBYFAR! Since I was 8 I remember coming here to get the home made papusas, since the time I moved to Texas. I have not found a place similar down in the south. So anyone who bashes this restaurant does not have the real taste of SALVADORIAN papusas and etc. Horchata is not just water and cinnamon like these other restaurants, like I said everything in their menu is on point. Thank you for keeping the menu the same over the years! This summer I will for-sure come back!

The food here is fantastic! The pupusas are incomparable to any other place I’ve been to. The pupusas are a good size and very plentiful, so I get full with just one, but I always take some to go. The yucca frita and platano con frijoles y queso are also among my favorites. They are so tasty and compliment any main dish. I always order an extra large horchata or ensalada de fruta, both of which are delicious! The restaurant itself is super clean and cozy, which I especially love. Service is great! the staff is always friendly and professional. They always go above and beyond to ensure the best quality service and they work hard to keep their customers happy. I have no problem making the long drive to this place. The food here is authentic salvadorian cuisine at it’s finest. You can’t beat the amazing food and quality service at Conchitas Restaurante!

Conchitas is awesome! Great & authentic Salvadorian food. Pupusas are a must of course. I personally have ate here a few times and not once was I disappointed. The owner is absolutely humble and enjoys being part of his community.

Delivery took about an hour longer than estimated. Food Was definitely below average. We were hungry, we waited a long time and it was not worth the wait. At all. Really bummed. And still hungry. :(

I would’ve given this place 5 stars based on the taste of their food but unfortunately, if you try to have them deliver your food… GOODLUCK! Not only were they going to charge me an $ 11 delivery fee, which I was willing to pay, but after waiting for almost 2 hours and no food anywhere insight, I call and get some rinky dink excuse that there was a lot of traffic and that was why my food had not been delivered but hmmm… by their own admission the driver had not left yet. This is the second time they have done this to me and needless to say, I’m never ordering from this place again, which is a shame since I’ve dined here before and the food is good, but I can’t take a chance on a place that you can’t depend on to get you your food or at least give you a courtesy call to let you know what’s going on.

Was getting my dentures and my oil changed and needed to kill the day while they fixed my gum chuckers and my Sunfire engine so i put on my new balances and walked around the block trying to plug my nose from the piss trash garbage rot and it got me gurgling in my gut, so i decided to get some mexican calzones. I gotta say, the cooler with cans of pop was neat, diet coke takes the shivers away, so i got two, but noticed one wasn’t fizzy and it said mom on it, so i think the cute lady behind the counter with the bun-up hair was being rude. I ate the food next to the laundry mat, the way jeffrey does before his blind dates, where he borrows peoples clothes, and«refreshes» them, and eating this cheesy pizza fold got me back to the fields and the trenches in a good way. the cans of beans, the tin foil packs of peanut butter in the sun with a cigarette and a lady waiting at home. it was good enough to lick the back of my hand, which i used to wipe my mouth, because i was too embarressed to go back for napkins. In summary, go for the diet coke, stay for the cheesy goo that you have to swallow before you chew.

We ordered delivery– the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. They have a lot of special side items and desserts that are quite good, I’m glad I tried them. You get a LOT of food for the money. Our lunch order is going to partly run into dinner :) The food arrived so hot I could barely hold it– wonderful for delivery.

Good, fair-priced food. I got the tacos de asada which were very filling. It wasn’t necessarily above average and there wasn’t any AC…

I’ve had Conchitas delivered now three times and they are always DELICIOUS!!! I’m addicted to their pupusas and especially their plantains! I’ve also had the whole fried fish which is fantastic! I can only say good things about Conchitas Restaurante Y Pupuseria because that’s all I’ve experienced is just REALLY good things. The food always comes fresh and flavorful and there’s never been any issues with my order outside of being sad when all the pupusas are gone, but that’s on me. =)

Coming from a Salvadorean home its hard to find the same authenticity and quality at a restaurant. But after eating at Conchitas yesterday, I think I found a winner! From the fresh drinks, to the warm yucca, and delicious pupusas — everything I tried had an authentic home-made quality and taste to it. I’ve eaten at most Salvadorean restaurants in LA and this is definitely towards the top of the list. It’s also quite fitting that the restaurant itself is decorated like a home paying tribute to its cultural roots. Great food by some great people! Two thumbs up!

I’ve been a big fan of pupusas ever since I was introduced to them, but they’re a tough commodity to find. This is definitely my go-to place for pupusas from now on. What makes the food here top notch is the care put into each item. It’s family owned and operated and everything is made fresh when you order it, so don’t expect to be in and out in 5 minutes. It’s not Taco Bell, people. I ordered 2 pupusas(pork and cheese) and some fried plantains with beans and cream. My meal took about 15 minutes to come out, but it was worth it — everything tasted fantastic. The pupusas were packed with meat and cheese, you really get your money’s worth. Although they’re relatively cheap, so you get more than your money’s worth, really. Often pupusas are heavier on the dough than the ingredients within, but not here. If anything, there was a little too much cheese, but that’s just me — any cheese lover will love ‘em. The slaw was fresh, and the sauce was not too spicy, which I enjoyed. The plantains were some of the best I’ve ever had — fresh, plump, juicy, and just the right amount of greasy. I typically just eat them by themselves, but the traditional style beans and cream that comes with them were a nice compliment, too. The family that owns and runs the joint was very friendly and welcoming upon my visit. You feel like you’re having a home cooked meal at home with family. If you’re not in a big hurry and not looking for an upscale experience, definitely stop by — it’s a casual, warm environment with El Salvadorian comfort food at its finest. I’ll definitely be back to try some other flavors, as well as some horchata, which I forgot to order the first time around.
