This place has awesome boba drinks. It has a great mellow atmosphere. Very cute. There’s plenty of seating and more things on the menu besides boba.

Super cute place to come. I usually come here after my early morning class and bring my friends here. Love the atmosphere and the staff is super nice. I do my homework here too occasionally. Their couches are so comfy I just want to take a nap

Love this café!!! Friendly employees, and the prices are perfect for a college student on a budget. They have so much variety too. They have different sandwiches, snacks, teas, coffees, smoothies, etc. There’s free wi-fi, and there’s space where you can chill out and do homework. Surprisingly quiet even when it’s packed. Will be coming back. :-)

I’ve been coming here for several years now! Definitely has changed throughout the years. The layout currently is nice. Decent amount of seating. The service is always fast! They get pretty packed but the staff handles it very effectively. They have yummy food and drinks! Prices are usual college café prices. It’s a good spot for us locals and it has a cute atmosphere.

Cute little local coffee shop. They make breakfast dishes and sandwiches, smoothies, and specialty coffee drinks. I had a latte here and it was inexpensive and tasty. Plenty of seating and wifi here. The one issue was that there was only one person working. So she had to make all the food, take the orders, and make the drinks. Id suggest they hire additional employees but she was super friendly and Id go back.

Been going here since I started my college career. I always get the roast beef sandwich. It’s delicious. Love the staff here and even though it gets kind of packed during«free period» they still manage to keep their cool. It’s awesome how they know my order so it’s convenient every time I come.

No bathrooms for paying customers!!! Organic fruit/veggie options necessary. Organic peanut butter as well, for shakes. Please consider it, DC Café! There are people willing to pay the extra buck or two. You are on the right track. Just think — «brain food for students/no GMOs!» Very friendly and accomodating staff.

This café is right in front of my school, so went in to grab a quick bite. It gets pretty packed considering the fact that there’s a college right across the streets and students are always hanging around there. Love the variety of natural fruit juices and boba they have, and the workers are friendly which is why I’m giving it a 4 stars. Otherwise it isn’t located in the best area, as some really weird people do step in.

My favorite place to grab a sandwich and smoothie before class. All of the staff is extremely nice except a newer worker they must of hired. She is not very friendly but I don’t mind. Food is good music sucks it’s perfect for in and out counter service

Thao and Kelly have always been amazing! I have been going to Los Angeles City College for a bit and I took Spring and Summer 2015 off so I haven’t been by for nearly 9 months. Talk about feeling at home… They remembered me and Thao even remembered my drink… Vanilla Blast blended(although I took it hot this time :-)) Thank you ladies for always smiling and being so welcoming. DC Library Café is what it is because you senoritas! Love and gracias!

I absolutely love this place their sandwiches are awesome and fresh and their smoothies are delicious. The coffee is strong enough for all nighters and for a pick me up right before finals. They also have fresh squeeze juices that are generally cold but so delicious. Downside is because it’s across the street from LACC it gets busy and the wait can sometimes be ridiculously long, also their hours cater to the school so no late night coffees or snacks available from this place, but all in all it is definitely a place worth going to!

I’m going to LACC for summer session and I was trying to look for a coffee place open early enough before my 8am class and found this gem! I’ve tried varieties of the breakfast sandwiches and it is so yummy. I’ve also had their tuna sandwich for lunch and you get to pick on this list what type of veggies you want & bread. The give A LOT of tuna, and the sandwich was really good. Probably one of the best I’ve had. They also have fresh juices, boba, coffee & tea. Prices are okay. Took off one star only because the couches they have are stained with probably food and they use like bed sheets over it maybe they should change it once in a while or wash it.

After I discovered this place near school, I’ve been coming here regularly. I really like that fact that they have coffee, tea, frapps, smoothies, breakfast stuff, lunch stuff and some asian food too. I’ve tried there sandwiches which are pretty delicious. I get their coffee before class for a pick me up. They also have Vietnamese coffee which is STRONG as hell but still sweet. Highlight would be their reasonable prices and fresh smoothies.(you get to pick the flavors) Overall, their customer service is great. They are always friendly and ready to serve!

This place is a great little spot for a quick breakfast that doesn’t involve a drive thru. Being able to live walking distance to this great little café has many perks. They have a wide variety of teas and coffees. Their sandwiches are sizable and reasonably priced. It has a very laid back, college vibe to it which is nice, seeing as I am no longer in college. They have a computer and a printer which you can use(for a price). It costs 10 cents to print. This place is a great place to pass the time between classes.

Very cool spot next to LACC’s campus. It has the coffee shop vibe, a wide selection of drinks and sandwiches. If you’re feeling bold, try their chicken teriyaki place. It’s very hard to find good boba places outside of Koreatown. DC café didn’t disappoint, they had the standard milk and Thai tea as well as juice and fruit smoothies that you could had boba too. Plus free wifi! Great place to grab a bite to eat as well as get some work done. 4 stars because the furniture is slightly worn and outdated.

Honest, hands down, I am a boba aficionado! So when I was driving near the area, I saw this place from a far and decided to try it out, not before reading the reviews on Unilocal,of course! DC Library Café is a small place with couches inside, as well as tables with the wifi code written on a small piece of paper taped down. Yes, free wifi! This establishment is right down the street from Los Angeles City College, so this place is often frequented by students. The staff that was there were very attentive and friendly. They have tables with umbrellas that provide shade if one chooses to sit outside. I ordered a kiwi slushie with boba. The drink tasted exactly like it said it was– kiwi flavored with a sweet kick to it. Along with my boba, I also ordered a strawberry filled croissant, which was warmed up. They have quite a variety of flavors for your boba cravings, as well as sandwiches and other treats, such as teriyaki chicken, thai iced tea, etc. Overall, it is a great spot to drop by and grab a boba. The location is in an okay part of town. I am a fan already and will be coming back!

I’ve been working across the street for over 8 years and finally I got a chance to try this place out. I ordered the Tuna Sandwich for lunch. It was only $ 5(nice!). It was very tasty. Came with a side of pickle and jalapeños. The portion was generous. I ordered it on sourdough and asked them to leave out the mustard. Service was on the slow side(took about 10 minutes). Atmosphere: A mix of couches, tables, and bar seating. Free wifi. A couple of television sets. The majority of the patrons were students. AC which is always a plus. Accept credit cards!
