Jack In The Box

I accidentally left my jacket in there. The place smelled like a men’s room dump, but the lady helped me find my jacket. You’re forever in my debt.

The place is truly one of a kind, you go inside and wait ten minutes to be helped. Watching two people operate one machine as you stand by the cash register waiting. Finally, the cup of soda is filled to the top, now you can order your food. Once you get your money back it is the wrong amount, don’t bother the squirrel ran off. You finally get your food and get out only to make it home with something different than what you had ordered, really.
Ask for Hann when you are looking to be so amazed you won’t even be mad.

Location location location … I’ve been here twice and never experienced anything bad as far as the food or the service. It can get verrrrrry crowed on here and have loooong times because of the college being right across the street … there are a lot of homeless hanging in here and today I went and anther customer was super agressive with me and actually touched me, asking me for money and then TOLD me to buy him a burger he wasn’t even a homeless person. They need security in here. I walked out and left I will never return here. Maybe go thru the drive thru but never dine in.

Sketchy area. I prefer the drive thru. Time to sit inside is limited! I’ve never seen that! Many areas to sit so I don’t understand why there’s a time limit! Some homeless people around and they occasionally come inside for water.

So I was real hungry last night and I figured, why not stop by at Jack In The Box real fast. As soon as I got there I was attended immediately, mind you the drive thru was pretty full. The girl on the intercom took my order in a friendly manner and didnt make one single mistake on my order. I pulled up and a girl with tattoos on her hands came up to the window, (she was really beautiful) and gave me my total. In no time I had my food and the girl that had charged me seemed real busy but aside from it all she asked if I needed anything extra, she listened to my requests and took it upon herself to make it happen. Now a days the fast food industry is garbage, I should know I run a family restaurant with my father and we try to attend to the customer like we would like to be treated. Now this girl has 5 stars with me, I was actually considering to ask her if she’d want to come work for us. She’s great and has a great personality with great service. I won’t doubt to go back there again, hopefully she’s there so I receive the same quality of service.

Came to this location yesterday hoping to have a nice meal and cool off as well after a very weird humid weather. But my family and I were very disappointed and frustrated with our experience! (Don’t get me wrong though, I generally like Jack in the box, but this location… Man…) Here’s why:
–1 star: AC NOT FREAKIN WORKING ON A HOT DAY! Really?!
–1 star: sloooooowww service for a fastfood, it’s because…
–1 star: …they messed up our order! Charged us for 2 chicken sandwich when we only ordered one and completely forgot our cheeseburger! So overall, another –1 star for a very less desirable experience.
Not going back to this location again!

Coffee messed my stomach up once and I vowed to never come again but I did to get breakfast and it was great. Coffee and hash brown comes as a combo and it was good this time. Nice Hispanic people working here

Rude employees. Complete disregard for basics… Napkins. Forks… A complete order. You know… What I paid for?

Found a LONG HAIR EMBEDDED IN MY FISH FILET. This is the last time I am ever giving jack in the box my business.

Dirty jack in the box always smells bad here and there’s always sketchy weird people outside of here the guy at the cashier was to busy flirting with customers and he of course messed up my order not coming to this jack in the box anymore

Over the course of about 30 days, I finally decided to try out my neighborhood Jack In The Box because of a slew of seemingly killer BOGO coupons… and you knew how much I loved bargains! I’m not a huge fast food fan, and after decades of last eaten at a Jack In The Box, the promotions were too good to pass up — damn marketers (wait…that’s me)!:
Antenna Ball ($ 1.00) — Come on, it’s so cute and festive!
Spicy Sriracha Burger ($ 4.39×2) — Sriracha, you said?! That word was a rebel yell that gravitated me towards anything covered with this awesome condiment. Nearly everything of this burger from the meat patty, lettuce and buns was good… except the sriracha, which was horribly lacking. Since I was home, I added some of my own!
[ONION RINGS/​STRAWS/​STRINGS ALERT — 2 of 5 STARS]
Onion Rings ($ 2.59) — One order size only, the breading was lightly golden with hardly a crunch and fairly flavorless. Each ring was of decent size and stayed intact when you bit into them. But if you wanted any sort of flavor you needed either Ketchup or ranch dressing.
Large Peppermint & Oreo Cookie Ice Cream Shake ($ 3.49) — There was only a hint of peppermint — mostly in the coloring — as this was more about the abundance of Oreo Cookies. I recommended that they used the green mint Oreo Cookies instead. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed this ice cream shake which was still thick as ever like you felt you were about to suck your lungs out with each slurp!
Spicy Chicken Sandwich ($ 4.39×2) — Only a hint of spiciness (come on, I could take it!), two fresh tomato slices, a wedge of lettuce, and a slap of mayonaise that helped to moisten this dry barren mass of chicken meat placed between a lightly-​toasted sesame seed bun. Yeah, I was very unimpressed.
Service — You approached the order counter
, checked out the menu up on the wall behind the counter, placed your order, and in about 10 minutes your order was ready. I also noticed a machine where you were able to place your order; pretty cool! As for the wait time, yes, it seemed excessive.
Parking (Free) — They had their own lot with plenty of spots — ’nuff said.
Atmosphere, décor, ambience — Your run-​of-​the-​mill fast food restaurant with a large layout filled with a plethora of tables and chairs
, some informational and promotional posters hung on the walls, brightly lit with electric lighting in the ceiling, ample natural lighting came in through the many large glass windows, and generally a rather clean place
. They also had a drive-​thru window. There were no TVs but there was background music.
Attire — Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-​shirt, boardshorts, and flip-​flops.
Overall, the East Hollywood location of Jack In The Box was nicely kept and walking distance from my crib, but I remembered the food being better way back when compared to this recent experience… unless I had more discriminating taste buds these days (I also remembered their monster tacos being decent). The only saving grace was the thick ice cream shake, but even that could’ve been better. Naturally, it wasn’t the healthiest of food, but when you needed sustenance, they filled in fine. I found good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (total paid experience was around $ 27.00 BEFORE discounts; no tip required). And, they accepted my credit card of choice… AMEX! 3.0 STARS

Came here to try the New Munchie Meal and see if it lives up to all the hype. And have to say I wasn’t too impressed. I got the Chick & Tater Melt. The name alone is misleading cuz I was expecting Chicken in the sandwich. Instead, there were two hash brown patties slathered with gooey cheese. Tasted alright, but not good enough to make me get it again. Meal also came with Curly Fries, French Fries, 2 tacos, and a drink. Not too bad for $ 6. But of course the quality didn’t really compensate. A plus for dining and Drive-​thru being open 24 hrs, but make sure to check your Order before leaving! They jipped us outta our Ranch sauce when specifically asked when ordering, so major FAIL for that! I did win Free Curly Fries from the Munchie box sticker, so that’s probably the only reason I’ll come back here. Personally I think they should really bring back the Sampler Trio!

Really awesome to have right across the street. Come here every now and then. Service is good they never did me wrong and food is as good as fast food can be. gets really packed in the afternoons around class dismissal so watch out.

Holy stuffed jalapenos… Marcos working the drive thru last night was so handsome! (and very friendly, which is hard to find anymore)

Used to be a nice freindly place not anymore some of the new workers and one of the team leader person alejandra is such a bitch i always see her arguing with customers…

Curly fries and milk shakes. That’s all. If you get anything else I’ll be very disappointed in you.

Every time I stop they take there time taking orders and doing other things then worrying about customers. The drive-​through is a joke you place an order when you get to the window they asked you what you ordered. The only reason I stop at this Jack-​in-​the-​Box is due to the fact that is right across the street from my job other than that I would never go here.

The only good thing about this place is that they are fast and conveniently located. Other than that it’s always full, not too clean, kinda smells, and is super sketchy!

hey, they have never gotten my order wrong and they had all the sauces we asked for… which were all of them.
I wouldn’t recommend eating inside unless you have too.
