Great spot! Went in on a Sunday night. Not busy, but wanted to try something new. We went for the sausages. We self seated at a table and the bar tender served the whole place and did fine. Friendly, unknown accent. Roomy, graffiti walls, TV’s, music. All fine! I ended up ordering a burger and onion rings. The rings… WOW! Best I’ve ever had. Served with a thick scratch ranch I didn’t love. I thought the best rings were from Bishop’s drive in, but nope it’s at District 13. Also, the burger(the one with gouda) was on point. I order my burgers medium well, which i think is the most difficult temperature to manage, and this one was on point. Seasoned well, juicy, and good toppings, like mustard aioli. I did not regret getting the burger over the sausage. Buddy got the brat and enjoyed it. He got the rings too and like those better. Also, total bill for the two of us was $ 26! Unheard of in Hollywood!

I will say the burger is top 20 in Los Angeles, but not worth the $ 15 it is. Better burger places I know are priced lower with a better quality. Good lunch spot for a semi quick bite to eat. I’ll have to try it again to see if anything improves or changes. Looking for consistency. The brioche buns did taste a little stale and the onion rings were hard as a rock. Maybe I’ll try a side salad next time. Lol I’m sad they are closing. 4th time here and I’m going to miss the great good, service and friendly environment.

Nat was a great host/bartender. Great beer and food paring suggested. I loved the chipotle ketchup with the Rosemary Chic sandwich. All beers are $ 5 a glass, the stronger alcohol content have less oz(16,12 and 10 percent glasses). They are quick enough for me to pop over on lunch break with time to spare

We came here after picking up Smoke’s Poutine. They let us sit in the bar as long as we ordered drinks. They have a large beer selection from all over the place, and a couple of secret ones too. Our party of 8 or so was able to sit at one of the long tables easily and the noise wasn’t too bad either. Good place!

I love this place! It’s THE hotspot to hang out, have a relaxing night with your fellow sports fan, and catch up with friends over a delicious cider! Everyone who works here treat their customers and the locals like family– which you don’t see that sort of service anywhere! I’ve tried most(if not all) of their food on their menu, and I’ve NEVER been disappointed. I’d always recommend this bar to my friends and family when they’re visiting town/near Hollywood area. Check them out if you’re catching a nearby show on Hollywood Blvd, or need a go-to place to hang out with good company. You won’t be disappointed! I love my District 13 family!!!

I’ve been coming in & out of LA for years and District13 is a stop I have to make every time. They have an excellent assortment of IPA beers as well as ciders. The food is amazing and has never let me down once. I do wish they would bring back the Alligator hotdog. The staff are extremely welcoming and alway on point. The staff and the food keep me coming back time after time. They truly made it my home away from home. Tip: They sometimes have a stash of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies that they will surprise you with if they like you. So be sure to be nice to them! ;)

Food is always just meh. Same with the service. Tonight was especially bad service wise. Took 10 mins to get anyone working there(it was slow slow slow) to even look at me, l. Ended up having to go to the bat myself. I was then asked«do you need help or something?». Had to ask for a menu. Had to ask for another round. The food was particularly bland and blah. No salt on anything. No sauce on anything. And what is up with the ketchup?! Homemade but tasted like watered cardboard?! Had to ask for my check, then they would even walk my change over to my table they just threw it on the bar, I had to get up and go grab it myself. The only time anyone approached my table was to deliver my food(no check back to see if I needed anything) and when they went to run and grab their tip off the table. Totally lame and disappointing every time I go.

Cool spot! Good selection of craft beers and pretty good food. Gave them a try because the security at Big Wangs was a couple of clowns. Glad we ended up here, we had a blast and the service was great!

The service was fine and the beer selection was good. My vegetarian burger was awful. I actually vomited after leaving the restaurant. I think I ordered poorly as the fries were good and my boyfriend enjoyed his sandwich.

Honestly until a few weeks ago and didn’t realize that District 13 was it’s own place. Had walked w the dogs and was hoping to eat out back at St. Felix but it was closed. NOTE: You can bring your dog here and still see the game! Can’t think of another place in Hollywood where this true. 2nd time here. Have so far tried the sausage, burger, fries, onion rings and kale salad. All very, very good. Especially the kale salad. Service is relaxed but friendly. I am pretty sure it is common to just go order from the bar.

Big Wangs was full with everyone watching football so we decided to try out district 13. Service was pretty horrid given that there were only 2 people working behind the bar. I got the buffalo fries and the man salad. My salad came a good 15 minutes before my fries and my BFs hamburger which was pretty awkward. The salad was delicious though. The caramelized onions worked perfectly with the well seasoned steak. The buffalo fries on the other hand were a huge disappointment. There was way too much sauce on it and the cheese they put on top didn’t fully melt. My weakness is usually loaded fries but I left a good portion behind because it just wasn’t good. With Stout in the same plaza, I really don’t see myself coming back.

We tried grabbing a quick bite, but it ended up being painfully long :/They have a pretty good selection of microbrews and other classics, so a great place to grab a drink and hang out. But if you’re looking to eat, probably not the ideal place. I grabbed the District 13 burger, which came with a pretty tasty mustard aioli along with some arugula, onions, tomatoes and a side of fries. For being an «Angus steak» burger, it was just A-OK. The patty had a strange texture, like it was processed. It wasn’t the gourmet burger that I was expecting, but it did take 40 minutes for our fancy food to come out… when there were only a handful of patrons… yes, pretty disappointed after an unnecessarily long wait… Drinks? Sure. Food? I’ll pass. Btw, parking is ridiculous in this area.

This is an excellent place to enjoy a game or have a nice conversation with friends. It will get crowded on big game nights but it’s usually very laid back with a friendly atmosphere. The music is never too loud and it’s a wonderful departure from the craziness of Big Wangs which is right next door. The food is exotic and flavorful with a great $ 5 happy hour on select items. Featuring an array of West Coast micro-beers, you’ll definitely find something suitable for your pallet. All the staff are really cool and helpful. My favorite bartender is a nice Mexican man named Nat. Like everyone else working there, he really appreciates his customers and takes the time to get them something they will like. On Fridays, they feature live music that is very good and never overpowering.

A little pricey but the food is so bomb, the beer is smooth, and the atmosphere is to die for. Definitely worthy money. Although my onion rings were little burnt but the regular fries were HUGE! Highly recommend!

I have been to several District 13’s and I must say this one is one of the better ones! Squished in between Stout and Big Wangs this is a definitely must for lovers of Craft Beer, sports and old fashioned American bar food. They do not serve liquor but you will still find something on the extensive beer and wine list to suit your tastes. Food-wise I highly recommend any of their burgers! Simply to die for and definitely give some of the other places runs for their money.

Total guilty pleasure! This place is sooooo good! I love stopping by a grabbing a dark IPA with some Italian sausage on toasted bun with peppers and onions! Total gluttony! The place is really cool too. I love the layout. The staff is friendly as usually always on point. The parking lot sucks big time since its next to Big Wangs but there is a lot just behind it. A must try and a great Hollywood addition!

Really wish I reviewed District 13 earlier, the memory of that burger although a lasting, powerful thought, is slowly disappearing! Anyway, the vibe from this place is great! Very open looking, lots of wood(ha wood). Premium feel. I got the D13, their signature burger. It’s a must have, I don’t think there were too many toppings out of the ordinary. They also had a home made chipotle ranch sauce. Great on french fries! Didn’t get any, but there is a good selection of beer. The water even comes in a glass bottle! Pricing is average, I think about $ 13 or something. Service was quick and nice!

Sadly disappointed with our lunch here recently. I hate knocking places. It doesn’t give me joy but when you’re shelling out 50 bucks for a lunch, it’s gotta be great. The great: Service. Guy working solo behind the bar was attentive and checked on us frequently. The wings. 7 bucks for 6 good sized buffalo wings. 3 drumsticks and 3 wings. Fries. The fries on the side were fluffy and amazing. Ambiance. Cool, hip, and fun. The not so great: District 13 burger. If you’re going to charge 13 bucks for a burger, you’ve got to get the basics right. Medium rare should not be that hard to cook properly. Once you figure out the cooking surface temps, you set a timer, flip once, and deliver perfectly cooked burgers. Our medium rare had no pink meat inside. The meat was good, but it could have been great. The sliver of smoked gouda. I think it was good. I couldn’t really taste it. The single slice of bacon. It was a single slice. Put some more on please. Just one more even. The bun. You can toast brioche to get a crispy outer crunch. What you cannot do is toast a stale brioche bun into something delicious. It looked good but it took a tremendous amount of saliva to digest the thing. I should have just pulled it off and ate it without. The overall size of the burger matches a hockey puck. This isn’t always a bad thing but with this burger, it made it even more disappointing. The beer. A pint is 16 oz. Paying 7 bucks for a pint of IPA is at the edge of reasonableness. IPA here are sold in 12 oz. glasses at 7 bucks. It’s not even a full beer. Throw away the hip, tiny 12 oz. glass and pour a real beer. Or charge 5.50 for your little beers and I’ll buy more. Bought a Groupon hoping for the best. Should have listened to the little Unilocal rating whispering in my ear. Just, eh.
