Look. We all the know that the Dodger Dog is one of MLB’s best hot dogs. Why? Cause, at $ 5 a pop, last year they sold over 2 million of these foot long frankfurters. You decide on whether your pork is grilled or steamed. Warm bun, with your choice of ketchup, mustard, relish, and my favorite — the onion. Ever think about what the other 29MLB teams offer when it comes to their home run hot dogs? Check out this link from ( ) and they give you the ballpark review of your favorite stadium hot dog. Here’s what caught my eye. — Chicago White Sox Italian Sausage(@ U.S. Cellular Field) Spicy sausage. Either go with a juicy Polish pork sausage or hot Italian sausage with sautéed green bell peppers. YUM! — Detroit Tigers Coney Island(@ Comerica Park) Meat on meat. As in they truly focus on the meat. Fans line up for the beef hot dogs which are slathered with Detroit Chili Company Coney sauce(a wet, beanless chili spiced with cumin) and sweet, chopped onions. — Philadelphia Phillies Chicago Dog(@ Citizens Bank Park) The stadium is in Philadelphia, but their signature item is a Chicago Style Hot Dog. True of the windy style — topped with sweet green relish, hot peppers, diced onions, and tomatoes on a poppyseed bun. — San Diego Padres Sonoran Dog(@ Petco Park) Sturdy bread, needed to hold all those toppings — all beef spiraled with bacon, pinto beans, green onions, peppers, tomatoes, relish, tomatillo salsa, mayo, mustard, ketchup, and cheese. DAYAM! Despite, all the variations out there, go to the Chavez Ravine, Lodge Deck Level, and order an Extreme Loaded Dog. Prior, I usually grab a Montejo Michelada with extra Tajin. These Dodger Dogs are extremely loaded with toppings including chili, cheese, jalapeños, pico de gallo salsa, and bacon. I also think they’re coming out with a deep fried Dodger Dog, but we’ll get to the bottom of that one later. There you have it. If you’re still unsure of what to gorge on during your 9 inning set at Dodger Stadium, check out this link from ( ). It’s interesting, but never as unique as some of the things you can find at Dodger Stadium.

The premise is a very cool one. The product is also cool but not in the way we wish. Food generally always is lukewarm. Not sure why the LA health department doesn’t require ratings be posted at each individual booth. The lines are long and it’s rather difficult to communicate with the clerks and not to mention poor clerks. No fan or AC in these stalls. Inhumane and cruel.

A seasoned drinker has learned 3 ‘last call’ lessons the hard way: 1) Never Drive 2) Never sleep with your friends 3) NEVERNEVERNEVER eat the bacon wrapped hot dog — no matter how good it smells! E.L.D seemed like the perfect place to savor this drunken wonder in a safe, health inspected environment. It was delicious, but it may not be a regular thing. The regular D. Dog really does not need any improvement in this setting, & their menu is a bit limited, and standing in multiple lines will kill half the game… But this once I REALLY enjoyed(grossly) overpaying for a bacon wrapped hot dog … if for no other reason than I can still remember it the next day!!! NOTE4 Kids: They do not have a kid size — I split one for the little ones… it was a little intense for them — They scraped off the toppings and ate the bacon seperate…

Located on the Reserve level. Great place if you want loaded hot dogs. All dogs are pre made so no modifications. Doyer Dog — $ 9 — Sausage, chili, pico de gallo, and nacho cheese! Sausage had good snap. Chili was very flavorful, not to salty. I want to try the extreme dog next time!

Best thing I’ve eaten at Dodger Stadium by far! I’m always curious about their rotating specials but end up devouring the Frito Pie(chili cheese + fritos) or the Heater(buffalo wing hot sauce + bleu cheese cole slaw.) Guaranteed to be delicious and messy so grab a bunch of napkins and a fork to scoop up any spilled toppings. The Big Kid sounds great in theory but the mac & cheese topping fails to deliver, and the Doyer Jr. is toppings overload with chili, nacho cheese, pico de gallo, and jalapenos.

Doyer dog Jr! Perfect dodger game food! Chili, cheese, jalapeños, skipped the pico de gallo. Good size portion hot dog with generous toppings. Worth the $ 10 and the wait time. I can never get a regular dodger dog again after trying this one.

Expect at least a 20 minute wait for these popular dogs. The bacon dog will run you $ 10 — three times the street price. I passed on the bacon dog and opted for the Cuban Dog — a special dog featured only during the home strand against the Marlins in May. This dog featured ham, swiss cheese, pulled pork(carnitas) and pickles. And, at $ 9.00 not only was it a bargain(relatively speaking), but is was filling and quite delicious. I think they should make this a regular feature here.

Finally got to try their Frito Pie Dog, which is a chili cheese dog topped with crushed Fritos. Yummy!!! Definitely a must-try for Dodger fans. My man also tried The Heater which has buffalo sauce and slaw. He rated the Frito Pie Dog as his #1 for Dodger Stadium, and The Heater as his #2, so there ya have it folks! I would give this place a 5 if they had more than one location at the stadium, but so far they’re only on the Reserve level by aisle 2, which calls for some lonnnng lines. Then again, every line at Dodger Stadium is friggin’ long. Bön appétit!!! ;)

For ballpark food this is the best concession stand at Dodger Stadium. I tried the bacon dog and the frito chili dog and both we’re surprisingly good! Better than the original dodger dog(that’s so pee wee reese era) Try it. especially if you’re a foodie. you’ll enjoy something better than everything mediocre that the stadium offers(aside from the garlic fries)

Can’t come to dodger town without having a doyer dog! Cheesy, spicy, savory! It’s the best way to eat like crap when you’re at the games. If your gonna go down this hill, might as well enjoy it right? I’d recommend getting the IPA at the other stands. Probably gonna skip on the $ 11 or $ 12 bud light next time. Can’t wait to try the other loaded dogs. Go Dodgers!
