Really good food and super friendly staff. I got the chicken scharma and I was surprised at how large the servings were. Really small plastic email(hence«corner» in the name, I guess) but I think most order out. We just sat at their tables outside and I’ll definitely be going back again.

TO tell you the truth… this spot is on point. No frills. Just straight up well seasoned, well cooked and great tasting food. I had the half chicken & lamb plate… added some babaganouch and the owner came out with an additional plate of fresh cut thick square potato fries!!! EVERYTHINGWASDELICIOUS. Honestly~ The owners are super cool too. Very hospitable and just good down to earth folks. It’s definitely one of those neighbofhood joints that seems like they’ve developed somewhat of a cult-like following. Customer service is A+ and that’s probabaly why. I can’t wait to go back and try the #9!!!

Everything was good, but just wasn’t excited about the amount of chicken I got in my chicken shwarma plate. Wasn’t anywhere near the amount I saw in the pictures. Otherwise, if there was more chicken, this place is easily 4 stars. Everything I ate(and I ate everything) didn’t let me down and great for a shwarma fix.

I tried Falafel Corner again. We ordered delivery. It came via guy on bmx bike. Cool. Also, within thirty minutes or so. Also cool. We ordered the catering plate to share between two people, and to get a sampling of all of their food. It was less food than we anticipated, as there was a crap load of rice, and less portions of meat and falafel. Oh well. We’ll order from here again at some point. Probably the plates.

Hidden Jem! I got the chicken and beef kabab combo w/rice, salad, hummus and pita for less than $ 10. Amazing! Will definitely eat here again when I’m in the K-town area!

A true hidden gem in Koreatown! It took me a second to find: it’s tucked in the back corner of a collection of stores, but it has some of the best Mediterranean I’ve had in a while! They have a great prices for all the food you get. I ordered the sandwich deal, which got me a pita wrap with a side of fries and a soda. First off, I probably got four large potatoes worth of fries. They were thickly cut(my favorite) and fried just right. Their pita wrap was also a hefty size(not that I was complaining). It also had the perfect combo of sauce and falafel, where the flavors blended together without becoming a sopping mess. It’s a window order situation, but the service was great. I had some questions and they were patient and helpful to make sure I was happy with my order. They also brought our food out to our seating area(there’s not much seating available. It’s one of the the only cons). I haven’t tried delivery, but knowing that’s an option, I’m going to be having this often.

So good and very affordable! Got a sandwich, two combo plates, 4 falafels and some sarma, all for around 30 dollars. The portions are great, and the food tasted stayed fresh through delivery. The service was great, and the delivery guy was so nice! Greek/Mediterranean food always leaves me feeling like I’ve eaten something healthy and light, and this definitely left me feeling good about what I’d eaten. Overall a really great place that I would highly recommend!

Lunch in the Korea town area can be rather arduous. Between the heavy traffic and crazy parking issues it can take a while. Luckily falafel corner has a decent sized parking lot. It also happens to have amazing and simple food. One day I had a craving for some kofta. Being korea town, options were few and far between. This place though, is a diamond in the rough. Their chicken is juicy. Their kofta is soft and flavorful. The rice is just right. The workers are fantastic and welcoming. Esteban is an awesome host. He goes out of his way to make you feel like a regular. He even went out of his way to deliver a large order to my office far from the eatery. Now that the food is out of the way. This place is not the prettiest eatery. It’s job is to get delicious food to people. The seating is limited so I would recommend visiting for carry out only. And no they do not serve alcohol. Oh and did I mention the plate portions are legit. Yes. I chose legit of all words. So come get your delicious middle eastern fix. Enjoy dipping that naan bread in hummus and sink your teeth into the flavors that work so well.

Very nicely priced for med. food. Less than $ 10 for a chicken plate. Cashier was very friendly. Accepts credit cards. Solid taste. I would recommend that customers order in person or call-in for pick up. I noticed that the negative reviews were because of online ordering. They are a very small establishment so just roll through instead

This place doesn’t not only have amazing food, but has amazing service, I came here the other day with my boyfriend it was our first time there. The business owners and staff were so kind and very courteous, that to me is how business should take care of the customers and here at Falafel corner they sure take care of you. But doesn’t stop there, the food was delicious and amazing for the price! Keep it like that because I will be coming back :) –combo plate was delicious, rice was fresh, fries were on point and last but not least the chicken and beef was very fresh and full of flavor. Thank you for this little gold mine, keep it up!

I love food here. I love the people here. I usually get my food to go due to the small size the the place and seeing as it’s so close to my home. What I don’t like is the wait. I know good things take time, but it can take a long time. Online deliveries can take up to 2 hours to deliver a block from the restaurant. Ordering pick-up you’ll want to arrive late to avoid waiting a while for your take-out. All said hands down my favorite falafel in k-town.

Great Food! Space is small but owner and son-in-law are very cool and Personable. Due to work I haven’t eaten here in a year but great back then and great or better now. For folks unfamiliar or insure about falafels and middle eastern(or more accepting term Mediterranean), there’s rice, salad, meats(kabobs, burgers etc) and veggies. That’s it and all good!!!’

First time with Falafel corner delivery. Very prompt receptionist(I may call him) he didn’t say he can’t deliver in our place but when he found out it’s just an 8 minute drive after I gave our address, he took our order and phone number and informed us the bill and delivery guy will call if he arrived. Just like that… Then my phone ring and delivery arrived! Food preparation is neat and clean. Very tasty humus. Falafel sandwich and the beef shawarma plate really awesome. Bookmarked Falafel Corner for future orders…

I give one star because I have to but not BECAUSE I WANTTO! TWOHOURSOFWAITING After placing my order online. Called them around 40 minutes after placing my order and they said that they have it, they were working on it, and it should be the next to be delivered. Called them again after 1 hour and 35 minutes, the person on the phone said that they had just faxed over the order from the website, which I said no, I called before and you guys said you had my order, were working on it and should be deliver soon, the guys was speechless and didn’t know what other lie to said. My order arrived 25 minutes after that last call. They didn’t deserve for me to pay them after the long wait, but I paid so the delivery guys wouldn’t be in trouble, the delivery guy was very polite and wasn’t his fault anyway. Not an apology or nothing from the actual restaurant, not even a phone call to say they were behind on orders. MYFIRSTANDLASTTIME. #FALAFELCORNERyousuck

Good food. Awesome staff. The owner was right there in the trenches giving the food his love and it showed. It’s not the best Mediterranean I have ever had, but it is Good and the price is reasonable. Will go back.

Parking: no valet, plenty of parking, no problem. Service: small family run business. They are busy. Spaciousness: cramped two tables indoor and couple outside. Food: i ordered #8 Kofta Lula Kabob plate. The food was okay. I wouldn’t recommend this to others. It has iceberg lettuce, hummus with pita bread, rice with meat.

After a long week I was feeling in the mood for some shawarma and falafel, I decided to have an easy night in and order through Unilocal(EatStreet). I found Falafel Corner and saw it had a 4-star rating, which seemed reasonable and was located less than a mile away. Yes, get in my belly! The menu: It was reasonable, fairly easy to read/navigate and offered many choices for what seemed like a fair price. I decided to go a bit lighter and get the vegetarian plate and chicken shawarma gyro combo plate(w/fries and Sprite). Yeah, that whole last part wasn’t so healthy, but figured my boyfriend would enjoy leftovers. Delivery: Once confirmed the message stated food was to be delivered within 45 – 60 minutes. A little over an hour had passed, I called the restaurant which promptly picked up and assured that the driver was on his way. I placed a special note to dial my apt # at the buzzer upon arrival — they called my cell anyway. Annoying, but not the end of the world. Quality: At this point I was pretty starving and rushed to the kitchen to dig into the goods. As I was opening the bag I was saddened to see a red can(Coke) instead of a green(Sprite) — already messed up the order. Again, annoying but I didn’t really need the soda, it just came with. I wanted to love this food badly. I wanted to dive right in, but when I opened the first box my heart sank a bit. I popped the lid off the chicken shawarma and noticed beads of condensation on the top… not just a mist… a downpour. Given the amount of condensation, the food had to be hot at one point, just unfortunately not when it made it to me. The fries were hand-cut, but limp and soggy — completely inedible. Don’t they know to cut the notch?! The chicken shawarma was ok(think pita with chunks of chicken doused in sauce and surrounded by warm, limp lettuce). If it was hot and not flooded with sauce it would have potential as a 3-star dish. The vegetarian dish was average/decent(especially when compared to the above). Decent tasting taboule, babaganouj, hummus and falafel. The falafel was room temperature and pretty dry and hard, as was the pita. Apologies for no pic here — needed to shovel what I could in my face! Also received only one set of utensils — really? Guess attention to detail wasn’t the name of the game. In the end, even if the food would have been appropriate temperature and texture would have been no more than 3 – 3.5 star quality. Bummer, but they all can’t be 5 stars.

Their falafel is pretty good. I’ve had falafel before and it wasn’t as round and crunchy as it was here. Is a hole on the wall but a place to consider especially if you work around the area.

I was Unilocaling nearby restaurants for a good price and found this place! The reviews help out a lot. I knew I wanted chicken and falafel so I got the combo and called ahead of time. By the time I arrived, my food was hot and ready! They give you good portions and everything is packed with FLAVOR! Next time, instead of majority rice, I’ll ask for more salad and extra hummus!

I was craving some kebabs last week and through trusty Unilocal,I found this place. I came by and picked up a double kebab combo(chicken, beef, and lulu) for $ 12. The meat was pretty good, the chicken and beef could have been seasoned slightly more but still not bad at all. The combo plate comes with rice, pita bread, hummus, and salad. All in all, this is a pretty good spot in Koreatown considering it’s the only place I know of in the area that has Mediterranean cuisine. One thing is: I’m not sure if they have any garlic sauce/butter(like Zankou) but that was really the only thing missing as I enjoyed my meal.
