Awesome food, great portions, and good prices. Service is quick, but awkward. The staff is very abrasive and expect you to know what you want as soon as you’re seated. If you can over look that, the food is top notch

Went on the first day of the new year and it was terrible. Was sat on the 2nd floor were it had a nasty smell from the old nasty stained carpet, 1 server who seemed lost and overwhelmed. Food took very long to be brought out and was cold. Definitely my last trip

Unfortunately I didn’t check Unilocal until after sitting down. They were very disorganized and had new patrons sitting down at tables before cleaning it off from the last guests. You have to wait to place an order and then when they come to your table, they rush you in Chinese: «Ok, what else?» «Choose faster». Ironically, when I ordered I must have gone too fast because her response was«what else? I can’t write that fast». The food was so-so. Nothing amazing. Portion was good. I probably wouldn’t go back.

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. First, the point: food is okay but the service is HORRIBLE! Like they want you to walk out horrible. Especially from male wait staff. Now the history: My family had been coming to this place for a long time. It used to be good. Good food, good price, and good service. Over the years the service went out the door followed by the price and the quality of food being its last victim. As long time customers, we have given it more than its fair share of second chances. We’re done. Service is SOBAD! Most Wait staff are just miserable and don’t care about what you want or need, they get to you on their time. Lunch shouldn’t take 3hours when there’s open tables. If You want to get your food thrown at you, and be ignored for some food you could’ve gone to your local a la carte place have at it, not for me. Never Again.

First time here and the food is okay, but the service is horrible. It might be that it’s a Holiday and they are super busy. Waitress was very rude and people were leaving because of her. First and last time.

Ordered delivery through DoorDash. Orange chicken lunch was delicious, hot and less than 6 bucks!

I give this place 3 stars simply because the food is amazing… The service however… Yeah. a little on the sub par level. I went in today with a party of 3, they sat us immediately, but then ignored us for 15 minutes. The woman clearly overwhelmed came up sharply asked if we were ready we said«uh», she walked away. We then had to wait another 10 minutes for her to walk back and bark at us if we were ready. we ordered the food came out really quick it was hot and delicious we got the dinner for 2 with egg rolls(ahmazing!) Fried shrimp(yummy) wonton soup(hot and perfect temp) pork fried rice(superb) chicken chow mein(divine!) And orange chicken(fried to perfection) we also had pan crisp green beans(delicious) the total came out to only 29.00 what a deal! We even had enough to take home!(I am a big guy) but the waitress never brought our drinks or even the water I later tried to order(after giving up on my coke to come). The waitress never came back to check on us. I had to call for the bill, paid, said«thanks» and left. Over all experience, food 5 stars service 1 star. Hopefully they hire more people!

Pretty sad that I have to write this review. I, like another reviewer, ordered from postmates and got a family dinner for 2, and a shrimp & scallop dinner special and I didn’t receive any of the sides except the soup so that was real disappointing. On top of that, the food that I did get(chow mein, fried rice, wonton soup, orange chicken, shrimp & scallops) was so damn bland and flavourless that I drowned all the suckers in soy sauce and sriracha and it still wasn’t good. I won’t be ordering again, which sucks because it’s the closest Chinese food place to me. :(

First time coming to Foo Chow Restaurant, and their Orange Chicken is very delicious! You get a lot of food for the money, and I was very impressed. Service could have been better, to be honest, and the décor can use a bit of updating. Other than that, I would recommend giving this place a try!

Keep a smile on your face. I hve come here with my family for years now. Customer service has gotten better. Everytime I come here by myself, customer service seems to be damn quick. If you come here with friends, order about one plate below your number of people including yourself– unless you all are extra hungry. Sometimes leftovers appear if 5 people order 5 plates for example. Lol Save money ;) if you’d like. Food is so good I absolutely love the wonton soup here, best wonton soup ever. My meal for one person cost 7.08 ^_^ I ordered before 5PM and it was egg drop soup, tea, and white rice. I ordered chicken with cashews. Big plate enough to fill you up. ^_^

I’ve eaten here for lunch and dinner several times with my wife, and it actually seems that the food tastes even better with each visit. I’ve always found the staff friendly, much friendlier then several others I could name nearby. Very reasonable prices and nice sized portions. We always have plenty left over to take home with us.

We have dined here for lunch and dinner several times. Never have we been disappointed. From the soup to the Orange Chicken to the Fried Rice to the beef and egg rolls. The portions are generous and the wait time for food is good also. The environment is cool and interesting and across street are the outdoor shops. Makes for a great Saturday!

Ordered from this place before and they had decent chow fun and chow mein so we decided to try it again. This time the chow fun was bland looking and tasting. The Chinese broccoli was overcooked to almost mush and the fried pork was spicy salt came out with two different color pieces(some really dark and dry, others light and moist batter) plus full of tendon and broken into small pieces. Had indigestion all night. Really hit or miss because it was good the first time but really bad the second time.

Family favorite! We drive from Santa Clarita just to get their yummy food. Since finding them I can’t find a local place for the quality food they serve. The portions are huge and very fresh! The staff never disappoints with their amazing service. Always smiling and never keep you waiting. Service is exceptional. My son goes to school out of state and every time he comes home he requests going.

Was one of the only Chinese food restaurants available to fulfill our east-coast tradition of Chinese food on Christmas. First of all, we ordered 2 dinner specials and didn’t receive the soup, shrimp, egg rolls or rice.(We used post mates for a delivery so couldn’t check at pick up) Most importantly, though, is the low quality food. Honestly I have LOW standards when it comes to Chinese food… I’ll admit I’ve enjoyed some really crappy Chinese food in the past. This isn’t even mall-quality Chinese food. Greasy. Barely any flavor. Rangoons weren’t crispy and didn’t come with sauce. Fried rice is flavorless. Just bad! Very disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend this even in a tight situation.

It pains me to write a bad review on a place when the food is actually delicious. I live in Orange County but enjoy coming to China Town and this place was highly recommend by a friend. The problem here is the terrible customer service, it feels like none of the employees want to be there. The waitress brought our drinks and just dropped them off on the empty part of the table and didn’t even made eye contact with us or explained which was water and which was sprite. Next, another person bring the food and again just drops it off on the far empty corner of the table, not once did a person come to our table to ask how the food was or if any of us need a refill… when I asked a server to please refill my sprite, she came back with a warm and flat sprite with only 3 ice cubes. I will never come here again.

I came here late one night after just leaving six flags and wow to my surprise this place was amazing… But only if you come looking for great food and poor service. But first the food, probably the best chinese food ive ever had in my life. And im not saying that because im a «Rush Hour» fan. I actually came here not knowing a scene of the movie was played here until i walked out after eating and seeing on the side of the building, «Rush Hour was filmed here» haha! So, when you come here, expect great food and very cheap prices. Ive never seen prices so cheap especially for how much food they serve you. The downfall to this place is that the waitors do seem a little rude. I say terrible becuase their customer service is horrible. However as waitors, before our food came out they came by plenty of times to refill our drinks and when the food came out, we were left in peace which a lot of time is wanted because no one wants to be annoyed by a pesty waitor fishing for tips. But occasionally it would have been nice to get a refill on my drink WHILE i was eating. So normally i would not like a place like this becuase to me your money not only pays for the food but it pays for the service and experience but in this case it doesnt. You pay very cheap for great quality food. You cant ask for much more. For a party of four we ate like kings for 40 bucks. Overall this place is 3.5 stars and i totally reccomend this place to anyone who loves food.

The food here is not bad, pretty delicious. I think they serve fuzhounese(is that how you spell it) style food here especially. So, it was nice trying food from that culture. Yep, pretty okay.
