Wine, panini, cookie. That’s my «regular» thing, and I wish she would expand to the east coast! Tiny and cozy, happy my excursions have led me to this wonderful little place! Thank you for the stupendous service.

Love this little place! Came here for the first time today and had the half Pollo panini which was so fresh creamy and delicious! Came with a small arugula salad which was also amazing! The girl working was so sweet and actually seemed interested in talking to me, asking me questions and everything! Refreshing change for LA! Will definitely be coming back soon for the happy hour 4 – 7!

What a great little spot. I’ve lived in West Hollywood for 3 years a finally tried this place for the first time today. I’m sad that I didn’t discover how great this place is sooner. The staff members are so friendly and welcoming. Happy our wine prices are great and food is quality! One of the best charcuterie boards I’ve had in a while and a way better value than some of the trendy spots in the area. I will absolutely be back!

The service and the food are really good. The waitress was adorable and the wine I had delicious. Having a really short break for lunch it’s very fast and good.

I used to love this place. But over the past few months the vibe has really changed. The owners got rid of the open air fridge which was full of cold wine and snacks. They’re now focused on dining tables and meals. However, every time I’m there only a couple of the 15 tables are occupied. Instead of walking in, grabbing a bottle of rose, and meats/cheeses, I’m greeted with awkwardness and confusion. Guess Whole Foods is stealing my business(dammit).

I’m so happy this place is by my apartment. The baked goods here are ridiculously good. They use verve coffee and make their espresso drinks well. They have a wonderful selection of wine, great for a quick but special gift purchase. Staff is super friendly. Try the croissant breakfast sandwich with prosciutto and arugula. The prosciutto didn’t slide out with each bite! Do you know how significant that is? Tankard mimosas and great neighborhood vibe. Go.

I’m here in wonderful restaurant. Laying down on comfortably seats then you will always feel fascinated with excellently atmosphere and dumbfounding food in front of your. You won’t regret why do you come over here if you visit here actually

I really, really, really wanted to LOVE it in here. Little authentic Italian winebars are my favorite. The two stars are for the quality of the food, and how nice the employees are. I have come here twice — once to go order, once to stay. THESERVICELITERALLYCOULDN’T BESLOWER. I ordered a panini to go, it took over 20 min and no one else was there. When we ate there, we ordered two pizzas and two starters. My friend’s starter came out, then fifteen min later my pizza, then fifteen min later her pizza, then fifteen min later my starter(I am not exaggerating this timeline). There were like, MAX5 other people there at the time(most of whom ordered to go). OK, whatever, if the food is great I can deal with annoyances. Unfortunately, it seems like their oven isn’t hot enough or something because the pizza was very undercooked. The dough was still really soft and(albeit, delicious) not really cooked. We were in a rush and with how long it took to get to our table to begin with I was afraid to send it back to cook longer. As I said above, the quality of everything is really superb. I just wish it was delivered better!

Please add a working number to your business online — there is not one listed anywhere and I have had two issues with delivery service at this point.

WHYHAVE I NOTEATENHEREBEFORE!!! I started with the 3-crostini-o’my’choice: *Tallegio, dried fig, micro greens *Gorgonzola dolce and dried pear, wild honey *Brie, prosciutto, micro greens * SIMPLE, SOFT, ANDSMOOTH * I enjoyed friendly conversation with this smiley babe behind the counter. And closed with a half of the Froma Roast Beef Sandwich. It was on a toasted ciabatta with arugula, tomato, provolone cheese, garlic aioli and shallot jam, with a side of au jus & a petit green salad! Thank you for a truly enjoyable experience. * I OFFICIALLYLOVETHISPLACE *

I miss Francine! Ever since the new ownership came into place the quality of service has diminished. I usually order the same few menu items and every single time they are completely different, with different ingredients and amount of food. I’m not a fan of those kinds of surprises. Basically I miss the old froma. The vibe was comfortable and cozy and all the food was well cared for.

LOVE Froma! great selection of cheese and wine at a very reasonable price specially if you go there for happy hour. Don’t miss the brunch on Sundays Bottomless Mimosa(YES!) They can accommodate groups up to 8 people and no corkage fee :)

We stopped by for a Saturday morning breakfast and coffee to find that the new owners Joey and Erik had already begun their transformation. They added a few window tables and chairs for more seating and have plans to re-do the the entire space for more comfortable seating all around. The omelet, croissants and coffee were all delicious. Great energy, nice background music and polite, pleasant service all made for an awesome experience. There is a wine tasting event scheduled later this month which features a Santa Barbara winery I’ll be telling my friends about, sounds like a good evening in store. We will definitely be back for lunch and dinner.

After a leisurely pre-bachelorette party brunch with my friend, the bride to be, and the maid of honor, it dawned on us that we had no champagne for the night’s festivities. Suddenly, our relaxed mode turned into slight panic. I hadn’t lived in the area for nearly a year, so I quickly Unilocaled wine shops within a mile. I’d remembered seeing Froma cruising down Melrose over the years, but had never been in… We quickly found street parking and I was greeted by the lovely new owners, Erik and Joey, who not only helped us pick out options, but let us taste a variety of sparkling rose as well as still. I was a little nervous the prices would be high given the location and high-end feel of the shop, but the lovely, crisp rose we all agreed was fantastic was only $ 18/bottle! We wound up picking up 4 much to the delight of the rest of the revelers that evening. I will definitely be back next time I’m in town… they do an unlimited mimosa brunch on Sundays, and their fresh-baked bread and amazing deli selection will be worth a look-see as well.

I have been to Froma a couple of times and came again over the weekend, and was presently surprised that it was under new ownership. I love what they’ve already done with the place. Amazing what some fresh flowers, a happy hour chalk board displayed out front, and friendly staff can do! A friend and I sat by the front window and ordered a glass of Rose and Pinot Grigio which were nice and smooth. We ordered the tuna tar tar sliders which were good, a charcuterie and cheese board, and an absolutely delicious grilled salmon on a lentil salad. To top it off we tried a new dessert item, the Apple Tarte Tatin and not a morsel was left! The staff was so sweet and my glass was never empty(luckily we took an Über), and they even boxed up the cheese and meat for us since we weren’t able to finish it all. Needless to say I can’t wait to go back! Hats off to the new owners.

First time trying this place. Seating is limited. Counter seating doesn’t allow you to put your legs in a comfortable position. They were under the first day of new ownership. Neither new owner bothered to acknowledge our existence. Bresaola Salad was decent. Lacked in flavor a bit. My husband’s Pollo Panini was good. Bread on panini was good but didn’t really resemble a panini. It wasn’t pressed. Prosecco & Pinot Grigio were decent. Service was ok. Forgot to bring our olives. Had to ask for the bill after waiting for it. Just indifferent towards their customers. This place doesn’t stand out amongst the dozens and dozens of places to choose from in the area. Won’t be back.

Ok, My friend went and got me a sammich from Froma today. It’s the day before Valentine’s day so many men are trying to show me love. I love it!!! Bring it on! Moving forward I had the Del Becco — sopressata, montasio cheese, arugula, balsamic vinegar. It’s very tasty… I couldn’t give(5 stars) because I don’t like the bread that much. Their bread is soft, but I’m not huge on paninis, they skimp on the cheese and meat and it’s not a proportioned sandwich. I need a good meat to bread ratio, this place didn’t deliver on that. Other than that it’s ok. Mind you, I’ve been spoiled by the Larchmont wine and cheese store. They have a similar sandwich and it’s better.

Wowwww !! This storefront may be small, but it packs a punch… a punch full of flavor. While a little on the costly side, they serve delicious and inventive salads, paninis and pizzas with a definite nod towards being an Italian deli. I reluctantly ordered a Panini, and I say reluctantly because I find most Paninis to be quite dry, and frankly, boring. However, I loved several of Froma’s sandwich offerings, so I figured I’d try one. It turned out to be FARREMOVED from dry and boring. It was, instead, an oversized sandwich(already a plus), filled with an abundance of chicken, mushrooms, goat cheese, arugula, and finished with a sherry vinaigrette. It was moist beyond my imagination, the flavors were wonderful, and that cheese was so wonderfully melted and gooey(probably helped to keep the sandwich moist… along with the sherry vinaigrette). It was the BEST Panini I’ve ever had. Truly !! The young man who made my sandwich did it with such care and finesse like he was creating an artistic masterpiece. I then watched him perform his magic on the pizza my daughter ordered, which by the way, was one of the best tasting pizzas. My cousin ordered an ahi tuna burger, and while I didn’t taste hers, it looked equally wonderful. They have all kinds of wine that you can buy to drink there by the glass or bottle, or buy the bottles to bring home. They have a few seats at their counter where you can watch them create the art known as food or sit against the wall where they have a few more chairs. Froma surprisingly does a huge business for breakfast, and they have quite an extensive breakfast menu. Should I ever be in the area at breakfast time, I’d definitely find may way in there to check out what they make. If it’s anything like what they do at lunch, I’m THERE !! The only downside is the parking, but like everything else in the Melrose area, just keep looking, and a spot will eventually open up. Food is creative and delicious at this restaurant, so it’s worth the hunt for a parking spot. There’s a reason this place is crowded.
