A homeless man once told me that they have a great $ 11 brunch special and the «creamiest custards» (he repeated this 5 times at least, so he must have meant it)

seems pricey to me but he was stoked. Also, it faces the dumpsters and there are no plants to speak of, so how they got the name «Garden Room» is beyond me…

This is the on campus restaurant for the culinary program at LA Trade Tech so all the food and front of house is run by the students. The food is great and the value is even better. On Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday they provide a Prix Fixe menu for $ 10. You get an appetizer, main course, dessert, and a drink. In addition they provide a selection of salads, soups, and sandwiches. On Wednesday they have the international buffet. In the past they’ve had Africa, India France, India, etc. It is quite a spread and once again only $ 10. You would be hard pressed to find a better value and better tasting food than The Garden Room at LA Trade Tech.
