This store has really come a long way since the other reviews have been posted. Not really a robust mini-​market that can compete with the selection at Yummy but definitely has the BEST selection of beer I’ve found this side of the hill.
The owner is obviously enthusiastic about his business, going as far as offering me new beers that aren’t yet for sale in the cooler. No longer do I have to head to Los Feliz for great craft brew. 5 Stars.

No prices which is shady and subject to change. The guys here are kind of rude and never want to give me change when i use their ATM machine in the store. I always have to buy something, which is annoying. For such a small store, they don’t really have a good selection of random things you may need and don’t want to drive to the store for. Liiiiiike… ice cream – they only have ice cream bars, or chicken broth, or chocolate syrup. THEY DO have $ 3 40’s which is really rad.
I go to Mikron around the corner now.

It’s important to have a good corner market/​convenience store wherever you live. There are 4 within a block of this area, and this is my go-​to spot. He has everything you need as you would expect from a convenience store, as well as some fresh vegetables and fruits daily. If he doesn’t have what you’re looking for, he’ll order it for you for next time.
This market used to be owned by a different family about 6 – 8 months ago, and it was basically crap. Since Paul took over, there are actually lights on, the shelves are stocked well, and the drinks are now cold! THANKS PAUL!
