Would you believe that these tasty tacos are only a dollar each?! Seriously a bargain!
It was during one of my evening strolls with a friend when we happened to notice the glow of what appeared to be a taco on Bellevue, about 100 yards west of Silver Lake Blvd, next to the liquor store. What?! A taco stand in our neck of the woods?! Woohoo!
And I had JUST HAD to try them out. I got the pastor – seriously tasty and juicy! Plus, they’ve got all the fixins’ to top your tacos with: various salsas, onion and cilantro mix, radishes, limes, etc…
It turns out that these guys have a permanent location not too far from here, so they are not newbies!
And, if you’re wondering, they have other meats to choose from as well: chicken, carne asada, and others that this pocha can’t seem to remember!
I went two other times a few days later. And, yup! They’re still tasty with juices flowing!
And what I really love about this place, is that this is another way to bring the community together. You’ve got neighborhood folks speaking Spanish and you got your hipsters, and everyone in between. I love it!
So now when I go on my evening strolls, I take a few bucks with me, just to eat some tacos. :)
