They have a decent selection of donuts that are fresh. Prices are also great and the woman working was friendly.

Favorite donut place! Reasonable prices. The subs are amazing as well as the thai iced tea!

Found my ham and cheese croissant joint. Only $ 2.50 and size is pretty big, same size as shaq’s palm. Parking situation is a bit rough, but if you come by early or late hours, I think you’ll be fine. The lady behind the counter is nice; she offered to warm up my croissant. I’ll update my review once I tried their donuts.

(Dined 03÷03÷15TU @ 10:00am): I may have found my new favorite apple fritter… and it’s in relative walking distance from my crib — trouble! While on a break as I supervised a crew who was putting in a new driveway and parking lot at a property I managed, I decided to walk over to K & K Donuts which I’ve been eyeing from atop the work site. As a beacon that called out to me, it taughted me to try its goodies. Did I succumb to its offerings!?: Apple Fritter($ 1.45) — Not that I’m an apple fritter snob by any means, but there was a certain way I liked mine and from the look of things it was going to be a good day! First, this was the cheapest price I’ve found. Second, it was the size of my hand. Third, there were apple bits in every bite. Fourth, the overall dark brown fried color had plenty of crunchy odd crannies, corners, and nooks that were easily broken off as small little morsels. Fifth, I came at the right time as this was still warm with tiny oil pockets. THIS was what an apple fritter was all about… and I had to say overall better than the recent ones from my old standby back in da day, Foster’s Family Donuts; blasphemy, I know! [BOBAALERT — 4.0 of 5.0STARS] Thai Iced Tea Boba — One Size($ 3.00) — Really good price for this seemingly large size. The Thai tea wasn’t too sweet while the boba was sweet enough. There were plenty of boba and I liked that it was light on the ice. Unfortunately, the boba was slightly smaller than the large straw you drank it with so you got a mouthful of balls — yikes! Other flavors also available. Service — I was the only customer at the time, so as soon as I entered I was greeted by a friendly Korean woman from behind the counter. She quickly took my order, immediately gave me my apple fritter in a bag, and deftly created my Thai iced tea boba drink right before my eyes. Minutes later, my drink was done, I paid, and off I went to enjoy my snack at a nearby table. Easy-peasy. Parking(Free) — They shared maybe five spots with a handful of other businesses at the corner of Alvarado Blvd. and Sunset Blvd. in Echo Park, so you’d be crazy to consider parking here. Local street parking was also a bitch. Basically, if you lived in walking distance to this place, you’re good. Atmosphere, décor, ambience — Your typical donut/drinks/ice-cream/sandwich stand with the main feature the counter display of fried tasty pastries as you entered , various packaged snacks and a refrigerator with cold drinks behind the counter with a colorful visual menu up on the wall , an ice-cream cooler , three small dining tables , plenty of natural lighting came through the large glass windows(even when the blinds were drawn) while fluorescent electric lighting hung from the ceiling. There were no TVs, but music played in the background. Attire — Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. Overall, everything about the apple fritters at K & K Donuts kicked arse, and you’re damn right I’d be back! As for the boba, maybe it was just an off-day, so I’d give it another chance with maybe a different flavor. The other donut offerings looked good, and they also made simple breakfast and lunch sandwiches. The service and prices were excellent, but the location sucked. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above(total bill was around $ 4.45 before tip). Cash only(ATM inside), so of course they didn’t accepted my credit card of choice… AMEX! 4.0STARS

Ive been going to this establishment since I was 17 I am now 28… if I have not got in for a year or two they all still remember me and are so nice to me. I havent been there in some time being that I have moved to long beach but I am now back bc I have cancer and am staying w my mom and bald head and all still remember me. They know my orders and the sandwhich is something I crave all the time. Ive never had a sandwhich like theirs… ever and its super amazing. I dont think that I have had their donuts though… but their ice crème is really good too. Yum yum… one of the gems in the neighborhood. Simple… amazing…

This place is an outstanding place for a quick lunch. DONOTGOTOSUBWAY. This place has great sandwiches for way cheaper than places around it and they don’t charge extra for avocado. Really good customer service. Super friendly and talkative. Highly recommended for a fast meal.

So good! Haven’t tried the donuts but they can make a damn good turkey sandwich. Turkey & cheese with all the fixings on a fresh baked croissant… yum. If you’re in the neighborhood & looking for a cheap/quick bite($ 3.75/ big sandwich) then check it out. Super friendly lady who works the counter and makes the sandwhiches.

I just adore this place. The little asian woman running the place is a total sweetheart & gives the best compliments. She also speaks some spanish! Cheap donuts, bagels & subs, but totally tasty & worth it.

I didn’t want it to be this way, but this place is awful. Horrible customer service. I asked for light ice and she said it would cost extra. More money for less ice? I didn’t know you could do that. I very politely said never mind and then watched her put as much ice in it as possible to spite me. Ahaha Really not a big deal but it still hurt. Then she gave me the wrong drink. I ordered thai tea and she gave me milk tea. When I told her this isn’t what I ordered she got very angry with me, I was actually scared. Never been given such a dirty look before. Even tried to convince me I was wrong and that I never said thai. Though I’m certain I did. Top it off the boba was hard/stale. Yuck! Must of been old and sitting out for too long. Good thing it was cheap!
