BADBADMANAGEMENT! I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone! The people who own this company are quite nice, but they obviously don’t care about customer service, because of the low caliber of employees they hire. They sent me someone who does not speak English, created a filthy mess on my lawn, and broke some of my stuff outside. I don’t know what I was thinking and why I put up with his nonsense for so long! I have never had a worse experience with a pool man in my life. Granted, it’s not brain surgery, but I simply expect a service call where my pool is cleaned properly, there is no mess to clean up afterwards, and my stuff outside is still in the same condition I left it in. After many complaints the owners would rather loose my business than deal with that lazy slacker who is working for them. There is something very wrong with this picture.

Just hired them to take care of my in the ground pool in Culver City. From my first call to Heidi to my intial meeting with Chris, I am impressed. Heidi called me back within a half of day to confirm the initial appointment. Chirs called me that morning to let me know he was on his way. Chris was very knowledgeable and began to service the pool that day and I am set up for weekly service going forward. Price was very competitive too.

Weekly service was ok for a while but as soon as something major comes alone this is not the company for the job. Let’s just say when the going got tough, they got gone! Unfortunately I had to learn this the hard way and hope others will benefit by my feedback. There are plenty of other pool service companies out there. Ask plenty of questions, like do you believe the heater is part of the pool/service.

Chris and Heidi are great. They’ve been maintaining our spa for some years now. Most recently, the obsolete two speed motor powering our spa died. Chris located a replacement and installed it only to have some of the ancient/brittle PVC pipe crack and leak. After replacing as much of the pipe as he could reach, we discovered that the new motor would run at low speed but not high. In other words, no jets, no oomph. Chris made another trip and fixed that too. At the end of the day, I don’t know how many times Chris came out but I’m pretty sure he didn’t make what he should have on this deal. So, thanks to their patience, persistence and competence, I’ll continue to recommend King Neptune to anyone who asks.

This is the 3rd pool company I’ve used since 2006 and it is by far the best! Chris and his employees do a great job fixing things and maintaining my pool. I recently had a broken pipe and Chris came over the fix it on the weekend and didn’t even charge me for it. The last 2 pool guys would come and spend 5 minutes cleaning my pool but Chris and his guys spend at least ½ hour, cleaning, vacuuming, checking the chemicals. I highly recommend King Neptune Pool Service!

After a couple of attempts to contact them via email and phone, I didn’t get a single response from an actual person. The only time I actually heard back from the company was a month later wanting to know why I left them a negative Angieslist review.

Great personal service. Bought a house with a pool and didn’t know a thing, Chris taught us and has always been above board. Using another company for warranty repair showed me how honest King Neptune is. I was concerned since KN didn’t advise us to have our heater serviced or replaced to save money like the other repair company suggested. After speaking to Chris I discovered that the cost of the service was 1⁄3 of what a new heater would cost and the energy savings wouldn’t pay for itself until after 10 years. He also backs up his work — installed new salt system which didn’t work replaced and reworked no hassles. Also his pump/electric guy is A1, just a little old school.
