This chicken is dangerously good! No need to go to Popeyes anymore, or fry my own at home and have to clean all that mess up. The staff is friendly and the service is pretty quick. Now about their biscuits. They are off the chain delicious. You can just buy them, and take them home and serve with your own food. I love this place. However, I have to limit my visits because I don’t need to gain the extra pounds.

Fried chicken is the best by far crispy and flakes with just the right amount of spices and it’s not greasy like the competitors. The potato logs are also great it has a nice crunch. The choices are sauces are great I tried them all my favorite is hot mustard. They also have fried fish which is excellent too. I can’t lie the honey butter biscuit is the best by far. I tried popeyes and kfc this place best them with 5 stars

Simply the best chicken sandwich that I have eaten anywhere, bar none. The ideal mixture of sweet, savory, and spicy, with a combination of textures that I marveled at.

Very salty, dry, with a slight taste of cardboard. I finished all four pieces anyway because I like fried chicken. Biscuits were sweet. Service was perfunctory.

I don’t know if I’d go here before Popeyes but really it’s the same ballpark. If you want the chicken fresh come early. At the end of the day all the chicken they have is dry af. Those biscuits are other worldly, so good, get you some.

This looked like a promising place for southern fried chicken. The place seemed busy enough. There were about three employees. Service needs to be fine tuned and customer oriented. The cashier took the order. It seemed like a job and she did the obligatory hello. Our order took awhile to fill. The person filling the order had to stop and help with the cash register, then she went back into the kitchen to help there. The cashier had to finish packing the order but seemed not to be in a rush while she was socializing with people. The fried chicken was not that crunchy on the outside although the inside was moist and tender. The collard greens was«okay». I’ve had better with more flavor. The sweet potato was not too tender but dripping sweet. The potato salad tasted best but potatoes not very chunky and looked like deviled eggs. I love soul food but I’m not in love with this place. Too bad…

Look out Popeyes and Louisiana fried chicken! There’s a new restaurant in town. Our at least new to me. A co-worker introduced me to Krispy Krunchy chicken about a week ago. The flavor of the chicken was very good. I understand that the chicken is flavor injected with that wonderful Cajun seasoning. This resturant will give Popeyes and Louisiana fried chicken a run for the money $$$. The only down side that I know is that Krispy Krunchy chicken is a pick and run place. It’s not a dine in restaurant to my understand, rather you pick your chicken and run home and eat it before it get cold. :) They also have cornbread tasting biscuits which are very good as well. They have potatoe wedges and fried shrimp. I went to the Bellflower, CA location. It was within the Cicle K. Check them out!

The chicken is ok but nothing you haven’t had before, it’s at least better than KFC’s. The real winner at this place is the biscuits, they have it mastered. Perfectly crisp and buttered, I could eat these all day long. The staff here could use some training on customer service, cashier wouldn’t even look at me when she took my order, and the girl who handed my food blankly stared at me, no thanks for coming or anything(awkward) besides that they do move quick.

Not going to lie, with all the chicken spots springing up and closing down in the Baldwin Hills mall, I didn’t really think this place would be any different so I avoided it for the longest time. Chicken: Batter is perfectly crunchy, but pretty salty. The meat is juicy and tender – even the giant chicken breasts are perfectly cooked. Jambalaya: It’s not the most amazing jambalaya but it tastes right and they put a generous amount of sausage slices and chicken bits in there so I always get it on the side. Honey biscuit: I’ll quit my job, beg for money on the streets for the rest of my days if I had to for a fix. These biscuits are like crack. It’s rich like a biscuit should be with a bit of perfect sweetness(not overwhelmingly sweet) and there’s just a pinch of saltiness that brings it all together. Workers are friendly but efficient

My colleagues and I decided to hit the food court for lunch in the Crenshaw Baldwin Plaza. I was going for forgo the fast food experience for Harold and Belle’s, but they didn’t pick up their phone. Thus, I needed to find something before we had to return to work. Lo and behold, I smelled good fried chicken. I walked over to Krispy Chicken, wondering what this new place was about. They had people in line and the chicken looked delectable. Since it was also affordable, I got in line, along with the others. When I got to the register, I heard the lady in front of me say, «Get the special.» There was no special advertised, so I asked, «What’s the special?» I was going to get a four piece for $ 7.99, but the special was 10 thighs for $ 5.99. Who could pass up a deal like that? I felt dinner lunch and dinner for the next day coming on. Bold move for not having had their chicken before. But I’m also glad I did. The chicken more than lived up to its name. It was crispy, crunchy, and delicious! I purchased one of their expensive $ 2.99 sides, but found it worth it! They dished a big dollop of mac and cheese, and it was delicious! I will definitely be returning.
