This place is ghetto and drinks aren’t great, but the music is good. There’s plenty of tables to sit as well, has three floors. Two to dance and the other is karaōke which is pretty fun once you’re drunk. Oh and on Sunday’s they have guy strippers =)

It was my first time going. I really did enjoy the music! :) but the people in there did really give quiet a show haha the dress code wow… Some ladies even wore chanclas. It didn’t bother. I found it quite funny. If you go with good friends n company you should he fine, unless you’re really fancy. Overall I give this place 3.5 stars.

Huge place, music was good. The food was mediocre. Place wasn’t near max capacity so it was pretty quick to get a drink at one of the bars.

(Disclaimer I only visited this dump because my girlfriend’s cousin decided to celebrate their birthday here.) If I could give this place no stars or negative stars I would. To start it’s $ 10.00 to park and $ 25.00 to get in and once you’re inside you immediately regret your decision. The place is basically a warehouse with a poor sound system that left my ears ringing even as I write this review. The music was so loud that we couldn’t order our drinks properly. We ended up having to pay for extra drinks because they thought we wanted more buy due to the music they misunderstood us. The security is a joke and the example I have to provide proof is that a cell phone was thrown at our table and nothing was done. Our just served drinks were knocked over by the phone and they didn’t even over to replace our drinks. The air conditioner must have been sold for parts because it felt like a bathroom after a hot shower. If you’re looking for a place that plays the type of music this dump plays look a little harder.

The three stars that I’m giving this place is solemnly intended for the MUSIC. I must say that the way this place is being managed definitely needs a lot of work. First things first, the security guards are beyond rude, stepped outside quickly because I had received a phone call, the security yelled at me to either go back inside or leave because they don’t want anyone lingering outside, which I understand if there were a bunch of people there however I was the only person standing there. Now let’s go on to the people who attend, La Boom should definitely bump up their dress code, I think this is a big issue with the way it makes the establishment look in general and the type f crowd they attract. Women showing up in flip flops and tank tops, men showing up in t shirts and sneakers. I think this is what bugged me the most I think if the club itself would bump up the dress code it would improve the environment as whole. To be honest I wouldn’t return unless there are changes made.

Overall this place was pretty average. Nothing super great about it. There was two other sections where different music was playing.

Arguably, the most well known club to the Latin community in Los Angeles County. It’s located in a neglected unsafe part of town. Don’t be put off by its uninviting exterior. Once inside there’s great music and drinks along with a positive atmosphere. Generally a 20’s to 40’s crowd. There’s a lot of places to sit and the main dance floor is huge. Definitely avoid this place if being around people of a low socioeconomic status bothers you.

This place was fantastic, I’m still a little hungover while writing this review, but I wanted to keep the flavor of the night fresh in my mouth. The dance floor is great like a true dance floor, it was not sticky but like smooth concrete. If dance the whole night there again.

Some people like it, personally I don’t. My friend and I are Latino and we wanted to go out for a night of Spanish music and salsa dancing. It was nice that they had three different dance floors; one was Spanish country, another was some meringue, and the main floor was popular music/pop Spanish music. I am 21 and the crowd had hardly any people my age. Mostly 30 – 50 year olds. Honestly, it was just very ghetto, there were some seriously creepy guys hounding women, it was too loud, and the rare times I actually liked the songs they played– they would only play them for a minute or less! It was too overpriced($ 30) for the venue. Luckily we didn’t pay for parking. There’s parking in the neighborhood across the street. Looks like some people had fun, but the place is a dump.

This place could be better if they hired professional security guards. The guards there are trash who think they the s**t. Just went there last night for the first time cause I had tickets to see Zion y Lenox. But I was already pissed off at the guards because the week prior I had picked up a passenger in my car(I’m a part time über driver) and as soon as I pulled up they started shining a light at my face on and off. Like wtf are you doing? I know you are trying to do your job I’m trying to do mine as well. Be more professional and come up to the car and let me know what exactly is it that you want. Anyways when I arrived last night they searched me and they found a pack of gum. They told me to throw it away or put it in the car. I had no car cause I went in an über. I told them why did I need to throw it away? It was sealed. They said it was policy. So I said can I at least take one and they said no! So I was like«oh it’s cause you guys want me to buy from the ones they sell inside. They said«no we don’t sell them inside.» Guess what was one of the first things I saw when I walked inside??? a lady selling gum and mints! Later in the night my friend also had a problem with a security guard. He was trying to talk to this girl and did talk to her for about 5 minutes and the girl was into him as well. All of a sudden the security that was right next to them told my friend he had to leave to another part of the club. My friend said why? He said«just cause I’m telling you!» Wtf? That’s not a reason? My friend said«look if I’m blocking the way I’ll move a bit down» and he did but the security insisted so he moved away. Drinks seem to be overpriced but all the bartenders I encountered were nice which is about the only good thing this place has. Other than that that gang of security guards who act like they are a little police department ain’t sh*t. Just cause you have a badge and a shirt that say security doesn’t make you nothing. Bet most do not even have guard cards. I have relatives who are in law enforcement and I am trying to join as well. I saw things at this club that didn’t add up.(Such as underage drinking) see that’s what these security guards should be enforcing not enforcing a rule against gum. So don’t be surprised when the real law comes knocking! GOODLUCK…

They played good music I danced all night although the drinks I got: an adiós & sex on the beach. There was no love in it they were horrible drinks. Plenty of space. Sooo many fat girls though! And when they weren’t fat they were old !!

I was hearing good stuff of this night club, so my friend and i decide to go and check it out. My first impression was not good because it was like around 10 people in the night club. My second impression was worst because the Dj would change the music frequently and also repeat the song every 20 min. I don’t recommend this night club at all.

I wasted about an hour trying to find a good place to take my girlfriend and her friends. i got to say best nightclub I’ve been to. The venue is so big, and spacious, it is divided into three floors. First floor is the biggest they play all types of music in this floor, there are many tables where you can sit, with your friends. Although it does get really hot in the whole club, but overall the variety of music is good. The second floor is where the good music is played, well that’s if you like dancing to spanish music. The third floor isn’t as big due to the kitchen, but they do play good music like bachata, spanish rock etc. since the third floor has the kitchen they close pretty late. I had so much fun with my girlfriend. We had a lot of fun we got there at a good time probably around 9:30ish can’t really remember. We had a blast. I wouldn’t recommend taking a sweater in there because it gets really hot not because people smoke in there because they don’t there is an area for that but it does get hot because of all the people. I mostly feel that’s the first floor, but I’ve rarely been there i usually go straight to the second floor. There are three bars, technically two because one of the bars takes up two floors. It is a bit over price, I mean parking was thirty-five dollars when I went, the entrance was an extra twenty-five dollars that’s sixty dollars right there. Although it is over priced i prefer this club over clubs in Pico Rivera. Overall it is a hell of a club if you enjoy dancing instead of just sitting around. Even if you do sit you’ll be sweating like if you were dancing. I would go back forsure

i love the variety of music!!! they play awesome music in the three floors. there are overall i believe three bars and one of them covers two floors. the main floor is huge, they have many tables where you can sit with friends and drink and talk but why talk when you can dance? here they play all types of music which is great. then there is the second floor where they mostly play merengue, cumbia, bachata its pretty spacious. now the third floor is small, its clothes to the kitchen where you can eat and they close really late too. here they play bachata, spanish rock, and old spanish music. in the main floor it gets at times too crowed where you cant even dance, but its fun over all !!!

I love the size of the venue and the fact that it is a very laid back place to go and dance the night away. There are 3 gogo booths that u can go on and show off ur dance skills or goof around with ur frirneds. Although the fact that there ISNOAIRCONDITIONING and u feel like u will past out from heat exhaustion is not ok with me. I ordered an AMF and the bartender gave me a Jäger Bomb instead, I politely told him that’s not what I ordered and he finally got my order right after the 3rd time . My suggestion is pregame it before going in and come in light clothes or you will end up looking like hot mess by the end of the night.

5 Valley girls decided to drive all the way out to Huntington Park because we longed for a fun night of Spanish dancing. Let me start by saying you can’t find clubs like this around Hollywood or Studio City, which is where we normally go if and when we decide to party. Parking was only $ 5, yay for that! We walk up to the front and are rapidly approached by a nice looking man in a suit, he greets us, checks our IDs, says there is no cover fee for«us ladies» and walks us into the club himself.(I had seen online it’s $ 10 after 10:30pm, it was 11:00pm) We walk in as «Danza Kuduro» was blasting so you know that set the mood! He introduces himself as the owner, asks us what we would like to drink and has an employee walk us over to a table where he shortly returns with a chilled bottle of Grey Goose and some mixers. We were so confused! lol He sits down only for a minute to socialize in a very respectful manner, tells us to have fun and that the bottle«was on him» There was an employee who stood by our section the entire night, kept the table dry, clean and refilled our drinks when necessary! Of course we tipped him afterwards! I was so impressed and appreciative with the way this establishment treated us! 1 bottle of Goose and 5 girls was all it took to have one of the funnest nights I’ve had in a loooonggg time! We didn’t get bothered as much as we thought we would with wall huggers asking us to dance, which was a plus! The music was awesome, thumbs up to the DJ in both rooms! My favorite part was when they threw colorful balloons all over the dance floor, HOWMUCHFUN!!! The area the club is located in was kind of sketchy, I will admit to that butttt c’mon it’s LA that’s unfortunately expected. It was only my girls and the dance floor that night! I would def recommend La Boom to people who, in words of that lady from the movie Selena, «JUSTWANNADANCE!!‘l
