No. Do not eat here. The lady is an excellent charismatic sales person, so much so, that I was duped into buying here. There is a deceptive sign that says«dduk-bok-gi»(spicy rice cakes) is $ 4 for small. It’s not. It’s over $ 7 with tax. WTF! Furthermore, the portion was pitifully small. To add insult, the dduk bok gi must have been nuked in the microwave for 20 minutes because it was unnaturally hot. Then, there was«kim mari» or fried seaweed rolls with glass noodles inside. It looked interesting. But not so great. It wasn’t gross but it was way too expensive and I would have preferred the rolls unfried. Don’t eat here. Go inside Hannam Chain grocery store and go to the hot food section next to the butchers in the rear area. It’s cheaper and the prices are labeled.

I’ve been here a few times and the food has been fine. But last Sunday… my bf ordered spicy seafood over rice… and there was a CRICKET mixed into the seafood… It was marinated and everything! Of course, they made a new dish(hopefully) and it was free… but I don’t think I would ever eat here again… I’d be too paranoid to find something in my food.

Horrible experience. Horrible food. Came here to Togo omrice and donkatsu. First of all no banchan, not even kimchi. Second fail, disgusting small shrimp in the omrice. The guts() are all still there. Strike 3, the omrice was not mixed with barely any veggies… Note to self, never again.

Delicious wang mandoo — I highly recommend both the meat and veggie versions. My aunt brought these over a couple months ago and I’ve been hooked ever since! Tender, perfectly seasoned, and cheap!

I like coming here for the mandoo next door and get ddukbokki at this place. My friend got the ddukgook and it was bomb. He really liked it, should’ve seen his face. I don’t know about the cold spicy noodle the other guy got but I wouldn’t get that there. It’s low pro and it reminds of me times when I use to come here w my mama

For $ 6 you get 6 dumplings. Pretty good for on the go and cheap. Wish they gave more soy sauce packets. Cash only

Best dumplings in town? As one Unilocaler says in a one line review. I highly doubt that if even if this is the only place in town left. Unless I’m missing something or a dumpling that was so incredible, every dumpling after was a total miss. I may not be the expert but I do have an idea of making my own dumplings and even the frozen dumplings from Costco would be better than this. If you ever been to Little Tokyo and looked in the window to see samples of their foods, my order of dumplings sure look like those plastic food display. I don’t want to butcher the name since I don’t know the spelling or probably pronouncing it wrong but I’m glad they have an English description of spicy cold noodles on the sign and in the menu. It was really like a salad thrown together with the dressing poured in the middle to show that there is dressing in it. I’m guessing I’m supposed to mix the salad but it was truly spicy and definitely not like the dish I thought it was with the cold noodles. It was a sure leap of faith thinking little mom & pop restaurant shops even in a supermarket could be really good. I would have preferred to say I’ve learned my lesson and not come here again. 3 stars was generous as the lady taking my order was taking her time on the telephone call looking at me like a little kid trying to get her attention but I waited patiently to order when I arrived. I should have known and walked away when I had the chance. For my 2 orders, my $ 14 could have been something much better spent elsewhere.

Food: mediocre to decent. Would go back for the fried chicken wings, steamed dumplings, and the dumpling rice cake soup. Service: fast and friendly. Atmosphere: very casual.

Inside Hannam chain. For being a man doo place, their mandoo is ok. The filling is flavorful but the skin is too flimsy. It breaks easily and doesnt’ seem like they made their own wrappers. I enjoy fresh made wrappers. The plate specials aren’t as big as they are in the pics either.
