She is incredibly pushy and follows you to the register to make sure you buy her products. i have not seen any results from her products and agree with the above posts that it all looks like home made items that are incredibly overpriced with no clear benefits. the actual facial had no steam and i broke out the very next day with new cystic looking acne the next week. i had bought a life booker for a microderm which was valued to be $ 150 but she recommended a facial which was $ 100(clearly a $ 50 difference) and she wanted to me pay additional for the facial(which clearly doesn’t make sense). I didn’t see any improvement from the facial and felt hustled the entire time.

Most painful Brazilian ever. It was my first after many years of just ‘basic’ and ‘beyond basic’ bikini waxes and so I accepted that I was in for some serious torture. But the woman didn’t seem to pull as fast as I’ve since had it done. Almost like she was as scared as I was(not a good sign). Also in telling her I was used to a regular bikini wax but not a brazilian, she gave me no direction in how to maintain it or «aftercare». Maybe she figured I knew what to do, but I really didn’t and it was so much more hair than I’d ever had taken off before. I picked up their menu and they had other services that sounded interesting… but for waxing, uh uh!

Owner Martha Weinstein is a treasure trove of anti aging information! Rather than going under the knife, have a facial toning session. Your eyes will sparkle and your cheeks will lift up back to the days when you were in your 20’s! You will be HOOKED! Once you get hooked, buy your own machine-she created one for home use. DIVINE! Rain forest slimming gel(another creation of hers) will tone your thighs and battle off pesky dimples. Keep your eyes out for a book because this author will be sharing her beauty tips with the world. Oh, and did I mention she’s a walking advertisement for her treatments? In her 80’s and GLOWS!

Most people don’t know that Martha Weinstein at Body Allure is a pioneer in the beauty and anti-aging field, or that she created the Nanocurrent machine that she uses for the facial toning sessions, so I’m mentioning that at the top of my review. I can also credit the fact that I look much younger than I am because of Martha’s toning sessions. Nobody ever guesses my age, not even close. She’s an expert. Who could be better than the one who created the technology? The facial toning really does work. We tone our other muscles in the body to keep from atrophying… why not our face?. and we work on inner beauty… let’s not neglect the outer beauty. I recommend Martha highly to all my friends. Go see her if you want the expert.

I have only raves for the women, facials and products at Body Allure. I am 69, and I walked in with a dull, wrinkled face. After several weeks of facials with Martha(the owner) my face looks healtier, brighter and she has even minimized my pleats and folds. Martha, herself is a testament to great skincare. The massage therapist gives a great knot busting massage. I would recommend Body Allure to anyone who needs some rejuvenation.

Let’s start with the website, which is littered with grammatical errors and is overall sad and outdated. It is also not a SPA. C’mon people — a cramped office with beds & derm products does not qualify you to call yourself a spa. Check the definition. The promotion I received did not coincide with my visit, it had WRONG information throughout — wrong hours of operation, services that were promised were not offered and overall my first facial lasted a mere 20 minutes. With NOSTEAM, no extractions, no eye covers! NADA. The girl working on me also proceeded to answer the phone multiple times during my service. Overall, It was a low brow ghetto quickie face massage — NOT a facial. I’m also a bit wary if anyone that works there is a legitimate aesthetician. In my attempt to make my additional 2 follow up appointments, the receptionist/aesthetician(TBD) mis-scheduled me both times. And then had the balls to CLOSESHOP on the day of my appointment. No call, no follow-up. Frankly, I’m shocked this place is in business. Back in NYC you’d be receiving a pile of dead fish right about now. This place is run by mismanaged, lazy individuals and I look forward to it’s shuttering.
