WHAT: Found this place while crusin’ K-Town for lunch w. Anthony S. looking for new spots to eat. As a fan of Mongolian BBQ I had to try it out. Parking is free in attached lot which is convenient. The restaurant is located in the food court downstairs in a little shopping mall. WHO: Husband and wife run business which is always cool to support. I ordered the #1 combo which included Mongolian BBQ bowl, rice, and drink. Typical setup. They give you a bowl and you go down the line trying to pack as much food into as you can. The piece of wax paper comes in handy to keep pushing the food down to get more in the bowl. Once you get to the end the lady puts noodles and adds the sauce based on your spice preference. She then hands bowl off to her husband who throws it all on the large round grill where he moves it around with long sticks until cooked. The food. You really get a lot of food. Its enough for two meals so very good value. I usually eat half for lunch and then the rest later when hunger pains arise again. Everything is pretty good for a food court lunch spot. Not greasy and you decide what you want. WHY: Now here is what really sold me on the place. I couldn’t find my parking ticket when leaving. We went back and the husband and wife who were on break eating their lunch helped us look around for it. When it couldn’t be found the husband tells us to follow him and goes and gets his car. He then lets us use his parking card to get out of the lot! WOW. Who does that for someone??? Nicest people ever. I will definitely be back to support this place and the owners that are amazing. I would have given them 5 stars but the location in the food court in not the snazziest.
