One of my favorite spot to frequent in the hood. I don’t have a dog personally, but i love them so much i will often find myself walking over to muddy paw for a coconut water and some hang time with the neighborhoods friendly canines. Good coffee, yummy vegan empanadas(the samosa one is fire), and friendly service make for a very cute coffee shop.

Favorite local coffee shop in Silverlake. Not only do they support animal rescues/shelters, but they have an awesome pet friendly patio. The service is always lovely. Super vegan friendly including some vegan treats to choose from!

I love the coffee, the vibe, the outdoor space and the people who work here. It has a friendly, neighborly feeling and best of all, welcomes our canine family members.

You have a dog? Wanna get a coffee? This is your spot. I love that they had vegan options for beverages as well as treats. I stopped by here with a friend who has a husky. We didn’t have him with us, but it was so cool to see all the other paw friends chillin in the back. If you need to charge your device, they had this cool multi-plug outlet.

I’ve probably been to every coffee shop in the surrounding Silverlake area, and Muddy Paw has to be the cutest, tastiest, and most meaningful coffee shop in town. It’s by far my favorite! Muddy Paw is quaint, with hand-picked baked goods and food items by the owner, unique and adorable beverage names, and the yummiest coffee concoctions I’ve tasted. The owner’s brother personally roasts the ethically sourced beans as well! Proceeds from every purchase are donated to animals in need. There’s also a sweet outdoor patio with a fire pit, booth seating, heat lamps, and hanging street lights. Why(tell me why!!) would you go anywhere else? Joey is also the nicest, most informative barista/worker. Team Joey FTW. A lot of «-est“s for one shop, huh? That only means one thing: you need to try it out for yourself! Stopped by this coffee shop with curious interest about the space,(I’m a realtor), and when I opened the door I immediately thought, «wait, is this a coffee shop or pet store?» Lol, it’s a «dog(and a few cat cameos) themed coffee shop.» I personally have never owned a dog, but I know that if I did, I would certainly bring my dog-baby to this pet friendly establishment for sure. The highlight of the place is the outdoor patio space. Very inviting and tranquil environment to relax and enjoy reading or web browsing. The only recommendation I have is that they change their paper goods because the cup leaks if you don’t finish your coffee within a hour.

I think if you have a dog, muddy paw is probably super ideal. There’s even leash loops and the like to keep your hound tethered while you do your thing. My pour-over was pretty good and the pizzaish empanada wasn’t bad either, though for the size I would have liked it to be cheaper.

Muddy Paw is a great coffee shop and has a even better vibe. Came in randomly on a Friday night and was treated to Live Jazz and local treats from the locals. Not to mention the Pumpkin Spice Latte was amazing and Gluten Free Maple donut was just right!!! Will definitely be back and definitely on a Friday. Felt like I should have paid for the amazing Jazz Performance!!!

Went exploring on Saturday and stumbled on this gem. I had the liger chai iced with almond milk and my friend ordered a flat white which wasn’t on the menu. I absolutely loved the service, location and most importantly my liger chai which was soooo good! Sweet but not too sweet and perfect consistency. My friend was satisfied with his flat white. If I’m ever in the area again I would totally stop again and try one of their treats. And part of the proceeds goes to charity!!!

Love this place. I go at least twice a week here for my morning coffee. As an avid dog lover, I respect that a percentage of their sales goes towards shelters and animal causes. And, you can bring your pup! They have dog treats for them as well. Here’s a rundown of the main points I love: Coffee — I usually get an almond milk latte, and it’s always perfect. Pastries — I usually get the raw chocolate-coconut macaroons which are made with all organic ingredients like raw cacao, coconut oil, agave and shredded coconut. They have plenty of yummy gluten-free options as well. The gluten-free blueberry muffin is so good. Price — About a dollar cheaper than your neighboring gourmet coffee shops like Alfred and Intelligentsia. Atmosphere — Their outdoor area is huge and beautiful. Surrounded by a ton of gorgeous plants as Plant Provocateur is their neighbor. Has a lovely fountain and plenty of seating. Service — Great. Everyone is super friendly and kind.

I can’t help but bark up a storm about this place. The coffee will have you howling in delight. The patio is paw-some! My tail was wagging the whole time I was there. In all seriousness, I really like this coffee shop. Great for studying/working. Great for hanging out. Great for the coffee. Just an fyi: the seating is all outside. Pro-tip: Currently, there’s a $ 1 off a drink if you check-in on Unilocal

THESEGUYS! So, one, how many coffee places also offer your daily dose of good karma with your order? I talked to the barista for a little bit after getting my drink about their operation, and she just made me feel great about contributing. A big portion of the proceeds goes to fund local animal shelters. Boom! I feel awesome. Plus the place is 100% dog friendly, which makes for killer puppy watching on the back porch.

If you’re looking for a great hang out spot for you and your pup(s), this is a very welcoming place. In the heart of silver lake you will find this little gem :) I have been here on several occasions and the staff is always welcoming, friendly, and sincere. When you buy a pound of coffee certain proceeds go to local shelters/rescues. Profits with a genuine principle. Our pups love to come here with their favorite bowties to get extra cuddles from the staff. They enjoy the serene outdoor patio and love to sit on the big round booth. With hooks to tie your leashes to, it is quite easy to enjoy some(vegan) snacks or have a quiet place to get some work done. Either way, it is a perfect little spot to enjoy some time to yourself or with your pup.

This place is really cute. It smells like dog in the ordering area which is fitting. the outdoor patio is really nice, I worked there for a few hours but it was hot. Good coffee.

If you are one of those people who start bawling every time the Sarah Mclachlan ASPCA commercial comes on, then you’ll definitely dig the Muddy Paw Coffee Company. A lovely café on a busy stretch of sunset, the space is as tight as the menu, but both are well-curated. They offer a unique selection of blends and roasts in a variety of preparations. The person behind the counter was lovely and very knowledgable and helped me pick a roast based on my preferences, and she was spot on! A portion of their sales goes to local animal shelters, so now you can buy your overpriced coffee and not feel so guilty! There’s a cozy space behind the store for working and relaxing as well.

This is a cool café to take your dog. I think part of their proceeds go to helping rescue animals or helping animals in some way which is pretty cool. They have some pretty cool coffees here but I just stuck to iced coffee. Decently priced, not as expensive as ktown but not as cheap as Starbucks. The back patio area looked like, as my girlfriend put it «a hillbilly’s dirty junk-filled backyard» Downside is there’s no indoor seating, so I wouldn’t recommend going on a hot day unless you came from the desert.

There’s something really furry about this store; I feel like when I bike past here on Sunset at 2 a.m., people are dressed as dogs inside, pulling on each others’ leashes and dry humping. I will go no further than to say the two times I got a cold brew here were radically different. I came in here about a year ago, and the older guy who was working here gave me quite a disgusting iced coffee. It was served from a large plastic milk carton and tasted like brewing Folger’s and pouring it in said empty milk carton and letting it sit in a refrigerator for an hour. I came here this past week, asked for a cold brew and the girl with really thick glasses gave me an iced Americano in a plastic cup, which was filled 1⁄3 to the top. There was so little of this coffee that ice was piled on top of the little coffee in it! I felt cheated, but confused as to whether this is a normal drink. I get iced coffee nearly 365 days a year from all the places in the land and never have been given a cup of iced coffee 1⁄3 full. First world problems, huh? Too bad it was good too! I remember when this store was originally a clothing store with a coffee stand in the back and it has come a long way since then. I mean, now they love dogs, got rid of the clothes and moved the stand. 2 Stars! (+ 1 Star for being furry)

This place is great. They have my heart. All the adorable dog-related touches are sweet. The service was kind and the drinks delicious. I sat in the back and worked for a while. They do have plugs and wifi, although the wfi wasn’t the most stable ever. But it was a dream. I was working there and admiring people’s puppies at the same time! Highly recommended.

This place is perfect and I don’t even own a pet. If you own a pet then you will probably pass out when you see all the things they have for your creatures. The coffee is great. I don’t know a ton about coffee personally, but I know enough to know that these people know their stuff. They even have cold brewed espresso, which is pretty awesome. I almost feel like I shouldn’t share this so I don’t spoil it for myself, but the patio is amazing. Great place to enjoy the California weather while getting some work done. Bonus: people bring their pets, and that means that if you like animals but don’t own any, you can come here and get your animal interaction on.

After having dinner at Night + Market Song… we walked by this cute little coffee shop before getting to our car. I went in to see if they had any sweets that I would be interested in but they didn’t have much — so instead I decided to get a drink. I thought that the Chocolate Cream Egg was interesting — at least it’s ingredients — it was chocolate, half n half and seltzer… thought it was weird to add seltzer to a coffee drink so I had to try it. It turned out to be just as interesting in taste. The seltzer added a little carbonation to it — so it was like drinking chocolate coffee soda — it was served cold. My boyfriend tried the Puppy Love — mocha latte — it’s pretty sweet. The drinks have cute names and they have a pretty interesting mix of coffee drinks. Though what I really like is the puppy theme of this coffee shop and their company’s support of animal rescue organizations. They donate some funds that they make selling coffee to animal rescue charities and I think that’s super cool.
