Came in 45 minutes before closing and they had no food. Nothing. I get it if it’s 10 minutes before closing but not 45 minutes. Disappointing.

Dear Panda Express, I went in tonight and got some rice(all I can really eat at your restaurant, no offense) and I finished my dinner for my ritualistic fortune cookie dessert, wondering what my fortune is, hoping for answers to life’s questions. I cracked open the cookie and there was NOFORTUNEINMYCOOKIE. I am devastated now, in fear that I have no fortune in my cookie because I have no fortune, and failure now awaits me, or even death. Please, I know Pandas are endangered but get your fortune cookie master to make sure he puts our future in our cookies! We are relying on your wisdom Panda Express!

First off, it’s Panda Express, so it’s very sugary, salty, American Chinese food. Which I used to love, so I don’t judge. ;) This location is inside Pavilion’s, and everything seems pretty hit-or-miss. The line gets very long around dinner time, and the food seems pretty fresh around then. Any other time of day, the freshness is questionable. If you simply MUST have orange chicken after work, it’s not the worst place to go.

This Panda is found within a Ralphs market and the service, at least from the male work is fantastic! Did you know that if you opt for half rice/noodles, you can fill the other half with the vegetables, no extra charge. You don’t need to count the veggies as an entrée. As I was beginning to order, I pointed at the mayonnaise shrimp and there were still about 10 – 15 shrimps in the tray but the worker relayed it would be 5-minutes til a new batch was ready. What stellar service to want to serve only hot fresh food! Did you know you can order the kids meal and it includes A LOT of food?! Or at least a lot of food for a small person. I’m only ordering the kids meal moving forward.

Man I just wasted my once in a blue moon panda express treat by getting food here :(. I dunno if it’s pavilion’s fault or panda’s but the food is not up to par with the quality I’m used to from panda. Yes I said quality! Panda is the apex of Chinese fast food! I remember their orange chicken to be made with more recognizable white meat and the sauce with more orange flavor. Also, they have this menu up with items that don’t exist! Jeez!

I live 2 blocks from this location and eat Panda Express at least once a week. I have stopped coming here after work because it seems no matter what time I come in between 7pm and close, they never have all of the food dishes cooked and in the trays — usually they will have 2 – 3 options instead of the traditional 10+ normally available at other Pandas. Once I was offered that they could make orange chicken for me in the back because None of in the tray, but was told it will take 15 minutes. Reluctantly I agreed since they had literally nothing to choose from already prepared and I was hungry. I waited and it took 25 minutes. That’s just unacceptable for me at a Panda Express, if I want to wait 15+ minutes I will go somewhere else that isn’t an express carry out food option!!. The other 2 times I have been here they flat out refused to make something for me and just said«we close at 9pm come earlier». It was 830ish both times. I won’t be back — you’re losing at least $ 20 from this customer every week and I know I’m not alone in this complaint based on the faces of other people in line. If management is reading this, you should keep the restaurant open until 10pm and keep your trays stacked. There is plenty of business potential in this location for later hours since the grocery store is always busy and the entire surrounding neighborhood is residential not office.

Terrible — was here for lunch today — 12:15PM — there was one person taking and filling orders, and one person ringing up the orders. The line was about 10 – 15 people deep; it took me 20 minutes of waiting before I could even get my order in. The food was mediocre, at best. So not worth the wait!

Went here out of the blue today cause I was dying for some rangoons. Great thing was that they had some fresh ones; usually I have to wait for a special order. I did have to wait for the shrimp entrée and had to ask twice for soy and chopsticks, but it was during the dinner rush. Took it home, so it was a little cool, but still pretty fresh. I hate when the orange chicken is all dry and at the bottom of the pan, but not tonight! The rangoons didn’t make it out of the parking lot, which is always packed when I come, but that’s what you get with this being inside the grocery store. I hate that people always beg for change outside this location, it always makes me feel super uncomfortable coming here, but as my nearest Panda, it got me my rangoon fix and was fast and tasty, four stars.

Well first off, this Panda Express is conveniently close, so that’s a bonus(for me). I like that it’s in the grocery store too. My usual thing to do is get my food from here, then get some dessert from Pavillions bakery. Second, they have honey walnut shrimp, which is one of my favorite things to eat., and they do a damn good job of making it! I also love their rangoons too. Yumm! I did deduct 1 star because, like others have said, they always seem to be out of something, and if you want it, sometimes you have to wait, like 20 minutes. I guess it’s not that long considering if you were dining in a restaurant that would be the average wait time, however, this is considered fast food, and 20 minutes isn’t very fast. Sometimes I just don’t have 20 minutes to wait and I’m sure the same goes for a lot of other people. For their defense, they do have customers pretty consistently, so it’s only understandable that they run out of food and have to cook up some more. I like their food a lot, infact, this review got me craving for honey walnut shrimp so bad, I’m definitely going there tomorrow for lunch!

Worst Panda Express. I stopped in numerous times and they fail to stay stocked up on their entrees, and they close the kitchen an hour before close so even if you are willing to wait for fresh product, they refuse to make it. The fact that they are they still in business amazes me.

WORSTFOODPOISONING in my life from the ‘New Tangy Jumbo Shrimp,’ purchased here on Weds 2÷20÷2013. STAYAWAY. Doctor had to prescribe emergency anti-vomiting medication, Reglan, for me in the middle of the night. GROSSGROSSGROSS. Wtf.

Ok Panda, only 4 stars today. When I got to the front of the line, I saw two other people waiting off the side. I figured they knew something I didn’t know, but approached anyway. I heard the words«Chow Mein almost ready», so I waited with the others. The next guy in line waited too… Once the almighty chow mein was ready, we all went through rather quickly and went on our merry way. THEEND

This is by far the worse Panda Express location I have ever visited! It is located inside a Pavillion’s — one would expect they’d plan ahead for the foot traffic by hiring enough personnel to tend on their customers and they’d have the freshly made replacements for the entrees ready«pronto» when the ones on display run out. Wrong! Today for ex. there was only one person to serve on a line 4 or 5 people deep, he took his sweet time and kept people waiting unnecessarily instead of making tending to them his number one priority. They ran out of the«Shanghai Angus Steak» entrée and took them over 10 minutes to have the fresh tray out. The taste and presentation of their food is also somehow below the quality of other Panda Express.

4 stars to a chain restaurant you say? You know what, yeah! For 8 bucks I get quickly get mixed vegies(yeah skip the rice or noodles and get some greens! They always hook me up on the broccoli upon my request too) Orange Chicken, Bejing Beef, and Kobari Beef. Good servings of vegetables and tasty meats quick and cheap.

Panda Express? Ah, hellz yeah! Their orange chicken is like crickity-crack! I know it’s ain’t good fer me, but day-am, I’ll eat all day! Why do I admit eating at Panda Express? I can almost hear the cries of derision: «Edgar, that’s an affront to good Chinese food! Hell, it’s an affront to food in general!» Ya know what? I’ll admit it cause I’m a man, dog. And I’ll eat where I want, ya dig? Sometimes, when I’m just in a hurry — ya know, when I’m rushing to get my groove on with a bonita chiquita — I’ll just swoopy-swoop over to the Panda Express, conveniently located in my local neighborhood Pavilion’s and get myself the three-item meal deal. And, man, to quote Ned Flanders, it’s «scrump-diddly-umptious»! Hoo-wee! So when you’re at this Pavilions, buying your Jimmy Hats(wink wink, fellas) or your feminine hygiene products(don’t want to exclude the lovely ladies — ha ha) and your stomach says«Feed me, Seymour» roll on over to the Panda Express. Who knows? Maybe you’ll get a favorable fortune cookie.
