Lobster taco 5 — ok. tiny sliver of lobster. definitely fresh. dipped in garlic butter and served with chipotle and a slice of avocado. wish the chiptole was spicier. Fish taco(free w/yelp check in) — good. panko breaded taco. really crisp. fresh fish. topped with cabbage and homemade tartar sauce. tartar sauce was tart, really good. All served with slices of cucumbers. I asked for the tartar sauce on the side and dipped the cukes in them. Hottest sauce was not hot at all but it went well with the lobster taco. Out of the two I enjoyed the fish taco because it had a textural thing going on. Maybe I liked it because it was free. Not a 4.5 star place but average. Fresh for seafood stuffs but pricey for tacos. They were tiny, tiny things for the price. Parked outside of the Satellite on a Thursday. Service was really nice. It’s good to try once.

Really liked this food truck! Tried the seafood trio, which was a lobster taco, shrimp taco and a fish taco. LOVED the fish and shrimp taco but the lobster one was just ok. Only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5, was the size of the tacos. They were tiny and not very filling. Hope this truck is back in the area soon. Would love to try other things on the menu.

When they mean pinch of flavor, they MEAN pinch of flavor. Won’t deny the tacos I had were great but the amount of meat in the tacos given were smaller than half the palm of my hand. Quite pricey for the amount of food for a set of 3 seafood tacos for 9 dollars. Jus sayin…

The fish taco was terrible. It’s like a thin piece of fish filet in panko bread coating. Their«free fish taco» is actually a fish taco with a fish filet cut in half. The shrimp and lobster portions were skimping. Seriously skimping. Two tortillas is too much for the taco and makes the tacos taste bland. The only other flavor you get is from the heavy sauces. It’s not something I’d go looking for. and if I were in the area, I’d definitely look for other choices. Their«combos» aren’t worth it as well. I think you actually end up saving money by ordering a la carte instead of the combos.

Wow, I was really impressed by this truck’s food! They were parked outside of The Dragonfly on Santa Monica Blvd yesterday(a Thursday). My wife ordered some asada tacos and I nibbled a bit of them. My friend ordered their vegan tacos and was visibly enjoying the flavors. I’d love to find this truck again and try their mexican seafood options.

Love this food truck! It’s usually parked in front of The Satellite in Silver Lake. The food tastes super fresh. It’s not greasy or heavy feeling. They have vegan items on their menu that are delicious! Their hot sauce is freaking HOT but so good, it’s worth the burn. The staff are really sweet and clearly love what they’re doing. Always wonderful service. I always look forward to eating at Pinch of Flavor. Best bang for your buck before a show at The Satellite!

Such good food! I eat here all the time. Chorizo tacos are my favorite, with the burger coming in at a close second. Tortas and mulitas are excellent as well. Can’t go wrong!

They have the best carnitas. They have asada fries that are on point. Also, their angus burger is excellent and one of my favorites. Best costumer service!

The food is BOMB.COM I tried the seafood trio & it was amazing! I loved the homemade salsas that each taco has. the habanero salsa is a must have if you like spicy! I don’t usually eat seafood from trucks but they convinced me & im so glad I got to try it! Can’t wait to try everything else in their menu!

Decided to grab some food here with my best friend during our wait for a concert. I’m giving this food truck 2 stars because their costumer service was great! The ladies taking our order were nice and funny and our food was ready quick! We got a hamburger meal(cheeseburger and fries) the fries were delicious they tasted like Cajun fries but the burger was OKAY my patty was kind of raw still not fully cooked(rare) and they didn’t ask if I wanted it rare, medium rare, or well done because I would of said WELLDONE. They put way too much avocado in the burger and the buns were a little over toasted, nice people but I won’t be coming back.

Every single option on the menu is awesome, but you can’t go wrong with the fish/cancun/lobster tacos and asada fries. Regarding the price, it is a little bit expensive, but the quality of the food is worth paying for it. They Do take credit/debit cards

I stumbled on this place when I was seeing a show at the Satellite and they were parked right outside! I already had tacos for lunch at El Zarape(also amazing) and figured, why not? They have a taco combo deal: 3 tacos and a soda(cans only) for $ 5. I got the veggie tacos and I was incredibly satisfied. The truck is clean and has a great look. I’ll eat here anyday… thank you for having solid veggie options!

This place is legit. I’ll leave another bar and come all the way over to north silverlake and get them lobstuh. Not too pricey for seafood. They say if you can’t see the beach don’t get seafood there, but I can see Silverlake Reservoir. Not really from that location though. The mulitas are mmmmm. Their carne asada is chunky like real steak almost, not like those pencil shreddings at other places. Their guac is like something you’d see on a fat girl’s pinterest. The carne asada fries are to die for Beef and cheese over fries and guac on the side. A big plate full. This place is like mexican/american food but in the best way. Not like Baja Fresh, more like Baja freaking awesome. For real though it’s my favorite taco truck. You don’t feel like having diarrhea after. If you want the real grimey tacos go else where, but if you some bomb, tasty, filling tacos come here.

The chef used to work for my favorite sushi place in ktown. Glad he now has his own place where he has creative freedom over his unique and delicious dishes. Definitely recommend this place to people who are willing to try something new and made with passion

This has been my go-to truck for lunch for months now. They have a pretty diverse selection on the menu and I’ve honestly never been disappointed with anything. The only warning — their sauces are SUPER spicy. Their mild is like most place’s hot. Maybe I’m just a baby, but they’re pretty intense. I’ve sampled about half the menu. Mexican street tacos(al pastor, carne asada, chicken, carnitas), fish tacos, fish n chips, avocado burger, chicken pesto sandwich, taquitos, clam chowder, chilaquiles, hangover soup… Like I said, diverse. I hear they make a mean philly cheesesteak too. Tacos/fish tacos are usually my go-to items. A combo with rice and a soda is only about $ 7. I always order an extra side of rice because the amount you get standard is quite small, like an ice cream scoop. There’s a different special every day it seems, and I’m always convinced to try it(the lady who works inside is awesome), but never let down. The best decision I ever made was to try their fish and chips — so good! Their fries are a little too seasoned for my tastes, and occasionally a little too soggy, but overall pretty good. But the fish… so delicate and delicious. Most people would be scared to order fish off a truck but you should do yourself a favor and venture out more. It’s a pleasant surprise. Their burgers are a fair size, good for lunch. Meat is juicy and all the fixins are fresh. The last thing I tried was the pesto chicken sandwich. Could have used a bit more pesto, but they warned me ahead of time they were almost out of pesto, so not their fault. It was still surprisingly tasty even though it could have used a bit more marinade. Even their freakin’ lemonade is good! And it doesn’t matter what you get, order extra guac to put on it. You won’t regret it. Ok, I’m done raving. Swing by, order, be delighted and leave a tip for the nice people. They deserve it for making such awesome food!
