Order takes 10 minutes over the phone and another 10 while they try and get their credit card machine working on site. Over priced as well.

These guys are «the best». I woke up one Sunday morning like you do, tired, i needed a place to fight the hangover and the hunger. Guess what? It rumbled from every pore in my body. The only knock out punch that I needed was a delicious sandwich filled with meat and cheeses and to pour some booze on the situation. And even though they didn’t actually come over, they we’re nice enough to send Raphael the next night. Raphael is one punctual dude. We called at 9:45 and he showed up at 10:45. This toned Persian was all about the «teenage» movies. You know the type, not quite John Hughes, but similar but less alcoholism and more sociopath teens attached to their internet porn devices. Anyway he showed up and while I was super high and drunk; he was able to give me the alcohol I needed and only charged me one night with my beautiful wife.

Great delivery service. Beer, wine, smokes, all the good stuff. Food stuff too but not the deli like they used to have. I say bring that back!

I love this store! Elisabeth is the best. I went here to buy a few things (lottery tickets) and she really welcomed me here. Some people like at 7 – 11 just kinda look at you and rush you along and make you feel like hurry and pay and get lost!
This store is a lucky retailer for the lotto but you get a real friendly vibe walking in and I love the incense she burns. It is like walking into a psychic eye book store. Great store and employees. Yes I have won $ 100 on the scratches bought here.

this location is on western and franklin with prices of rodeo drive. everything is 10−15% more expensive than other places. rite aid across the street has way better prices hands down. besides the over pricing, the cashiers are always remedial. barely can speak english. the vibe of this place is basically if you dont like us just leave we dont care. Buttom line if you want fair pricing go to rite aid across the steeet.

Love this place! Best liquor store to call to deliver right before 2am. Ordered 10 – 15 minutes before 2am in a desperate need for vodka and my friend’s cancer sticks (cigs) and they were at my door in about 20 minutes!

I walked in to buy a cheap bottle of wine (cuz single life). The lady behind the register barely acknowledged me because she was on the phone yelling at someone who didn’t show up to work that day. Good for her. I was amused. My wine was exactly what I expected. I paid 50¢ to use my debit card, but that’s okay. I’ll go back tomorrow.

Old fashioned liquor store. The employees aren’t pushy and the place is usually pretty quiet.

Good place to play lottery. This store is pretty decently stocked and fairly easy to get in and out of. My favorite thing about it is that they sell Pop Rocks and they have all the flavors for 99 cents. That makes me so happy.

This place just looks so awesome we had to stop in and check it out. I mean, how can you go wrong with a neon-​festooned place called PINK ELEPHANT LIQUOR, which also proudly proclaims «WE DELIVER» and «DELI & PIZZA» from illuminated signs attached to the bright pink façade?
Well, sure enough the Pink Elephant does have liquor– and a pretty good selection of beer and wine as well. Not sure where the «deli and pizza» comes in– perhaps they used to have a restaurant attached? Nothing in the way of food here now except the standard Kwik-​E-​Mart fare.
The location, nearby both the entrance to Griffith Park and the Hollywood/​Western Red Line station, is quite choice. I found myself going past the Elephant several times during a recent visit to the city, and stopped in a couple of times for some tasty beverages. Really, though, other than the cool façade and convenient location, there’s nothing to set this place apart from the myriad other liquor stores in the area.
Oh yeah– if you pay with a credit card they will tack on an extra $ 0.50 per transaction without any explanation or warning.

very good selection of beer, ciders, wine, hard liquor, and shooters. beautifully displayed and clearly marked prices. nice guy at the counter. I could be in there all day even though it looks kinda ghetto on the outside. haven’t tried the delivery but I can imagine that it would be difficult for them to provide this service. why? because it’s hard to prove that people are 21 over the phone AND faded people might call and order a bunch of shit they can’t pay for.

This is my neighborhood liquor store and man am I glad it is. There’s something about the wonderful tacky appeal of this place that just makes me want to chug alcohol.
Friendly staff and good selection of liquor, beer, wine and snacks/​toiletries/​etc.
Parking lot is small but free and there are usually spaces available.
I haven’t used their delivery service but that’s only because I live pretty close.
And I just found out Charles Bukowski used to frequent here!!! Definitely an angsty-​eclectic-​alcoholic-​artists’ sanctuary.

Awesome store smelled nicely of incense when you first walk in! $ 3.25 for a 40 oz of Mickey’s they also have a great selection of wine and beers! The clerk was also very nice! Also gotta say love the name Pink Elephant it reminded me of the Pink Elephant Super Carwash in Seattle also an awesome place!

At first we thought, «wow we don’t need to leave the house to get alcohol. how awesome!». Sadly, this place has let us down a few times.
They quote you one price on the phone and show up saying a different price. Even priced over what tax would increase by. This has happened numerous times. At first we brushed it off thinking it was a mistake. Then we double checked with the guy on the phone to ensure the price quoted would be the price paid with delivery included. I think it was only quoted correctly once in our handful of times trying it. I don’t trust this. We paid $ 21 for Rolling Rock… which is $ 9 at Von’s. Go elsewhere.

Is there a way to give zero stars to this place? I adore the delivery guys, however, the store consistently gets the orders wrong. Even though it is a delivery. They refuse to correct orders stating there are laws which prohibit them from returning wine and cigarettes. When I called to complain that my order was wrong. I was told by Michael to «suck on the wine» and call Tina, his manager in the morning.
Amazing customer service… avoid this place.

They ordered Lime-a-Rita’s just for me. & they have $ 1.00 coffee. I rarely wait in line there. They rule.

There’s just something I like about this place. Maybe it’s the Pink Neon lights and how for once they aren’t affiliated with electric sex i.e. «GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS!» or «LIVE NUDES!». Could it be the sight of the charming pink elephant which cues my internal soundtrack to play the «Heffalump and Woozle» song?

It’s the people inside! These guys are always friendly, helpful and they make me feel loved because they tell me to «be safe» when I walk home. Aaww! Recently they gave me two of their free 2013 calendars so of course, we are cool for life.
Aside from the warm fuzzies they deliver with their customer service, they also carry a GREAT selection of craft beer warm fuzzies to indulge in: Stone, Allagash and Arrogant Bastard to name a few! I have yet to try the delivery since it’s stupid close to my house, but ehh, I have plenty of time to drunk dial them.
If it was good enough for Charles Bukowski, it’s good enough for me!

neighborhood institution, I love this place, been ordering and having them deliver for over 20 years… miss their food… I don’t know what is up with the negative comments. This place is exactly what they are, a neighborhood liquor store (and a lot of Ben and Jerry’s), they will deliver a marshmallow if you ask them!
