I got the veggie tempuras here and it was pretty good, nothing too special. I don’t know how I feel though about the service though… wasn’t too polite. Their food is pretty much generic, good yes but nothing out of this world.

we only ordered tempura (got a noodle bowl at noodle town before we saw plaza sushi) but they know how to do their tempura:)
the large plate (around $ 9) came with 5 shrimp and 8 veggies with pickled radish on the side along with a small bowl of miso soup. it took a little while to get it but i guess it was worth it. ill come back for the tempura when im back at the koreatown plaza and hungry. the food corner does get loud and crazy though.

How does this place have such low reviews?
Must try their ALBAP. You definitely will not regret it. Basically a ton of fish eggs + veggies with a generous amount of rice.
We also ordered their japanese fish cake/oden soup which was also really great. But CAUTION: HOT! I definitely burned my tongue a little :(

Ok so its Japanese food run by Koreans made by el salvadoreans in the back. If it good? Depends on what you order.
Personally Id stick with the bento sets, chicken, beef or salmon. All comes with miso soup, tempura, salad, rice and sides. Rolls are hit or miss, I’ve had good and bad experiences with both.
So decent food, big portions, good stuff.

I don’t get any sushi here. What I do get here is there bibim mol mil, which is their mixed noodles with spicy sauce (#21). It’s really tasty esp. bc they put lots of veggies. This is one of the best mixed noodles that i’ve had. Try it. You won’t be disappointed!

I usually eat at Gamja Bawl, but was in a sushi mood saturday… had the hawaiian rolls… tasted great… a few hours later I got really sick… will spear you the details…
truly disappointed by this place… will never go back… I don’t recommand it as poorly prepared raw fish could truly be dangerous… I’m surprised this place has an A
