Delicious juicy chicken! My boyfriend and I have been ordering from here whenever we feel lazy but don’t want to eat fast food. We order the whole roasted chicken combo with sides and it’s more than enough for one meal! Great service, kind owners. This restaurant deserves more customerS!

Bomb whole chicken combos. Fast delivery. Ton of sides compared to any other chicken(Mexican style) shops. It’s definitely the best priced for all the extras you get, plus that delivery person. Forget them pizza deliveries, with their guaranteed 30 min deliveries. Pollo Mundial’s delivery man, used to Street race in the streets of ktown. So he knows how to get to your place within 10 mins. If he is ever running late. The PoPo’s finally pulled him over. But all in all, this place definitely hooks you up for about $ 15.00 — $ 20.00. Great for dinner combos for the fam, friends to share and grub together. Great stuff guys, and thanks for providing good food at a great price!

Portion size is big. I ordered the whole chicken combo and my husband and I were stuffed. Chicken was very tender yet crispy. We obviously had leftover so I made it into chicken sliders the next day with coleslaw. Even though the chicken was reheated, it was still delicious. Definitely will refer to friends. They also deliver so a great meal when I get lazy.

I am a very big supporter of local businesses in Los Angeles and I know how much power there is in a Unilocal review for a restaurant’s success, which is why I don’t like to leave negative reviews. Now, with THAT said: The food Chicken is «meh» at best. At first look, it didn’t have the golden brown, crispy skin that I’m looking for from rotisserie chicken. In fact, the entire chicken(skin and meat) seemed kind of yellow for some reason. The dark meat was okay, but the breast meat was entirely too dry. The sides tasted very processed, as if they came out of some pre-packaged can. Why were the beans so watery? Tortilla was not warm and fluffly, kind of stale. If you can, make the trip to Pollo A La Brasa, where they do the chicken right. In fact, go to El Pollo Loco, because at least there, you know what to expect. Lastly, this is personal preference, but chicken is better with hickory or a mix of hickory and apple, not«100% oak». Chicken was 2.5 stars at ouf 5, but the actual experience made it a 1 star review. Dine-in experience About 3 months ago, I went in to grab some dinner after a long day at work. I guess this restaurant closes on the early side, and I seemed to have gotten there about 30 min before closing time. No body was there, and I was thinking about what I wanted to order. First, there was nobody in sight to take my order and in a couple minutes somebody came out to help me and I guess I was asking too many questions for the person to answer. Literally told me that they’re closing soon so I «better make up my mind fast». Got my food, ate it while the person kept looking at me as if to basically imply«when are you gonna leave». Takeout experience About a month ago. Was with a couple friends and they mentioned this restaurant. I told them about my previous experience and they assured me the person was probably just having a shitty day. Because it was on the way back to my friend’s house we decided to stop by and get take out. We called in the order about 20 minutes prior to arriving and when we got to the restaurant, the employee apologized to us saying«oh sorry! I totally forgot to write down your order». We waited another 10 – 15 minutes because there were a couple orders to be prepared in front of us. When we got to my friend’s place, we were starving. We took out the food and the order was completely wrong and missing a ton of stuff. I guess it was our fault for not checking? Maybe they would’ve fixed it if we called, but weren’t really in the mood for that. This was after we phoned in our order, then repeated the order when we got there, and then waited an additional 15 minutes for. Probably paid for about $ 60 worth of food, and ended up receiving about $ 40 worth of food. 1⁄5 would not go back.

My roommates and I order delivery from this place literally every week. Their rotisserie chicken is tender and juicy and they give you little sides like cole slaw, beans, pico de gallo, rice, tortillas, and salsa. A whole chicken combo for about $ 15? Yasss Cheap, healthy, bomb food that delivers is super hard to find! The only annoying thing is that they close at 7:30PM. Why…

Update: Price jumped to 14 something incl tax. Add tip and not worth it anymore —— I was a little concerned to order another Korean version of something… living in Ktown, there is only so much of that«red sauce» I can bloody take… I wonder sometimes if I travelled to Korea, and turned on the faucet, whether it would run red with that sauce… Anyway — their chicken is smaller than Pollo alla Brasa, and certainly not as good — but it also doesn’t have that weird MSG buzz to it when you’re done. You feel better after eating this. Mundial flavors are not as strong, and like Pollo alla Brasa — sometimes a little dry and other times — not. Strongly suggest that they sauce/marinate their chickens a little more. But it’s a very decent value for what you get. And chickens do taste good. Sorry to say but their Rice & Beans both taste like they are out of a can. And not a good can at that. If they could improve on these two — wow — what a value this would be. I usually make my own rice to eat with it because I can’t quite stand the flavor. Both red sauces — ugh — taste like… Korean red sauce with waaayyy too much tomato flavor. Maybe Vons sauce would be a much better hit than this stuff. I may need to store some in the fridge for dipping. Especially the mustard one. If these guys could make their own Aji sauce… again…they would win. Coleslaw is better than the other sides but too watery. Some potatoes instead of rice would also be welcome. Anyway, prices are UP to 11.99 plus tax for their combo meal. Include salad and its 12.99. Not a bad deal at all for the amount of food you get. With tip and tax — around 13 – 14.50. Getting up there. And certainly for 4 bucks more, you may want to try one of the more authentic, flavorful rotisserie spots in the area. Great polite, friendly service by the way, and speedy delivery. Sometimes prices changes by the time he gets to the door so ask for a price confirmation after you’re done ordering.

Honestly, I never leave reviews but I was so pleased with my experience here I thought I would give them some love. I have lived in the area for nearly a year and I could never find my «go to» place. No offense for this neighborhood but it isn’t exactly known for it’s food. The food here nothing to write home about but it is simple and delicious. This place is great for three reasons. One, you get an entire roasted chicken with sides for $ 11. Two, they deliver. For free. Three, they showed up in 10 minutes. Need I say more? I am more than pleased. I think I’ll call them right now.

Five stars from mooi! And now they do free delivery! :) I ordered the whole chicken which was… 11.50 bucks and two people couldn’t finish it. Reasonable price, large amount! I usually prefer rice but I tried with the tortilla with their salsa and hot sauce, soooo goood. I will definitely order few more times whenever I am craving Korean-mexican style chicken xD

Had a combo 6 with extra pico de gallo delivered. Combo 6 consists of a whole chicken, rice, beans, small salad, tortillas, coleslaw, peppers, pico de gallo and radish for about $ 14. Pretty good deal! The chicken was nice and juicy. All the sides were pretty good. No complaints on the food. If you order by using Kakao, they give you 2 free coke cans! Woohoo! The only downside was the delivery. Took a bit longer than an hour. Not cool!

Been a regular for quiet some time now, and must I say; expect and they deliver. it’s always a speedy process with them when ordering, and their chicken is really juicy and delicious. Take some tortilla, add some salsa, hot sauce, rice, AND beans? Good service, 2 free cokes when ordering on katalk along with delivery

Always solid, tasty, cheap and fast. Delivery takes about a half hour. Chicken is moist and in the general style of el pollo loco but better. Some of the sides, like the Spanish rice, pico de gallo, and beans, are a bit subpar, but I guess you can’t expect too much authenticity in this respect from the Korean owners(no offense). Salad is also pretty eh, and doesn’t seem the freshest. However, the owners have added a nice touch by including Korean style pickled radish(the white cube kind in the clear sweet vinegar juice) which goes well with the chicken. And they sure know how to make their hot sauce hot. If you don’t speak Korean or Spanish you might have some communication issues, but for $ 10 for a whole chicken and all those sides, you can’t really expect the red carpet. Definitely a top delivery option in the area.

a delivery option in ktown is great but the quality of the product is horrific. the chicken disintegrates in the mouth, as if it isn’t even real meat. their sales pitch is cheap roast chicken with a bunch of sides. what I got was more like reconstituted chicken with a smattering of unmentionably bland afterthought sides that would make fast food chains like mcdonalds blush. I want to discredit all the Unilocalers saying, ‘it isn’t that bad.’. I reply that this is the absolute worst chicken I’ve ever had in my life. like the texture was similar to tofu… grocery store roast chicken is cheaper and better. the real stuff is not that far off in price. u want good cheap roast chicken in ktown? go to pollo a la brasa imo. or one of the myriad excellent Korean chicken places. i’m sure Westlake has better options as well.

Still a solid 4 star rating… I called for delivery at peak traffic time in ktown and they delivered my food in like 10 minutes. .who else can do that? No one. .and they give you the best bang for your buck… yeah I mean it’s not the greatest but come on… this aint nothing fancy. just good cheap eats

You really get GREAT value at this place, it is undeniable! Besides prices, everything else is very average. The chicken is tasty, but nothing amazing. Salad, rice, and beans are all fine, not memorable. The best part about this meal was how many sides you get with your chicken, which goes back the the great deals and prices they offer. Hot sauces(2 kinds), pepperchinis, pickled turnips, cole slaws, pico de gallo, corn tortillas, etc… It was overwhelming how many little container one order of chicken comes with!!! Quality and taste are comaparable to grocery stores and nothing beyond. You will be very full and satisfied, for the little price you pay. I will keep them in mind and order again for sure. Delivery is FREE!

Yum! For $ 10.99 you get a whole chicken, beans, rice, kimchi, side salad, coleslaw, tortillas, and the kinda of spicy hot sauce that makes my half cuban boyfriend SWEAT! This is a Korean owned(operated?) mexican place, and it’s a fantastic fusion. Happy tummy, happy wallet, only reason to not give 5-stars is because if the delivery person has issues with parking they’ll ask you to come to the car… so you need to have pants on: /

I found this place through GrubHub and after seeing some good reviews I gave it a try. The food is good. It’s not bad, it’s not amazing, it’s good. BUTTTTTT… The prices are amazing. The full chicken meal is almost unfair. It comes with rice, beans, cole slaw, salad, pickled radish, salsa, tortillas, peppers and sauce. ALL for 10.99. Realistically, this is the best deal in town. Pollo La Brasa on Western has the edge on the food, but Pollo Mundial has a biggggg edge on the price.

ordered two roasted chickens for delivery via kakao talk. this gets you two free sodas per order on your first order. the chicken wasn’t dry and was pretty good. the sides are tiny but it’s still a super good deal. two whole chickens plus salsa, two hot sauces(hot and very hot), the korean pickled radish which is usually eaten with ttong dahk, banana peppers, cole slaw, rice, beans, salad with ranch, and tortilla for 24 $ this is more than enough for three people. the delivery was fast. would definitely order again.

It is disappointing not being able to put 10 stars! So far it is the best chicken I have ever had in my life. Price is also very reasonable. Quick delivery service is also a plus.

Pollo Mundial, which means worldwide chicken in Spanish, isn’t really worldwide since I did not know it even existed until recently. This is the case despite the fact that the restaurant claims to have been around for over 10 years. Makes me wonder how they can have less than 10 Unilocal reviews. Suspicious… Also, maybe the«worldwide» moniker is in reference to the fact that while they serve Mexican-style chicken that is similar to the crazy chicken, this is a Korean-owned chicken place in the heart of Los Angeles’ Central America community(Langer’s is a block away). Anyways, since Pollo Mundial limits its delivery services to Koreatown and I do not live in Koreatown, I decided to order take out on a Friday evening. Finding parking was a bitch and from what I could tell, Pollo Mundial is definitely more of a take out and delivery restaurant(emphasis on delivery) because the restaurant is really tiny with barely enough seats to fit 4 parties. When I walked in I was coaxed into upgrading from the standard $ 10 whole chicken combo with 8 sides to a $ 12 whole chicken combo that included a side salad. Let’s just say that I didn’t realize how dinky the salad was until I got home because the salad was basically iceberg lettuce with slices of cucumber, tomato, and ranch dressing. Furthermore, when I opened all the plastic bags that my food was wrapped in, I noticed that the whole 8 side orders boast was a fucking sham. I mean, including hot sauce and tortillas as sides is plain ridiculous! Also, the Unilocalers that uploaded the photos of the food must have really good cameras or photoshopping skills because my food did not resemble their photos. Pollo Mundial’s pathetic attempt at Spanish rice was really hard and felt like it was sitting under a heat lamp all day. Also, the spicy peppers were soggy and the refried beans tasted like reheated canned beans. The only sides that were tasty were the pickled daikon cubes, the fresh pico de gallo, and the hot sauce. As for the chicken, it had a hint of smokiness that was so subtle that had I not known it was cooked over an oakwood fire, I don’t think I would have even noticed it. Although the chicken itself was a little dry around the wings(indication of being cooked for too long in the rotisserie grill), overall, it was decently seasoned. The only negative about the chicken was that compared to the birds at Costco and that crazy chicken place, Pollo Mundial’s chicken seemed like a Cornish hen. While I can appreciate the mom and pop charm about the place as well as the pretty reasonable price, unless you live within delivery range of the restaurant, Pollo Mundial is simply not worth it. Full list of their famous 8 sides: Cole slaw, Spanish rice, pickled daikon cubes, pico de gallo, refried beans, spicy peppers, hot sauce, and tortillas. — Hot sauce and tortillas as sides, REALLY? — Speaking of hot sauce, they provide two sauces, a mild and spicy sauce. Let’s just say, the spicy is really fucking spicy. I think they put habaneros in it. This caused me to have BAS(burning asshole sensation) the next day.
