The most disgusting place ever. This person should be fired. He made my breakfast with glue/caulking all over his hands… Are your customers not worth common decency? Yet he’s speaking to me as if I’m delusional and just GUESSED that he had this«stuff» all over his hands. NEVERAGAIN!

Poor customer service to say it best, I always greet with a smile and say please and thank you but the only thing you get here is dry responses and annoyance that you are not talking loud enough through their bullet proof glass. Before you say speak up, I am ex-army and from Detroit where bullet proof glass is the everyday norm. The employees are just to concerned with talking about what they did over the weekend and what they hate about the job. Too bad because the food is usually good except the two times I got raw chicken tenders lol

If I ever fought(fist fight) over food I would probably end up doing it here. Why are their attitudes so bad here. «I don’t do orders at the window.» Well guess what, you’re gonna do one today now add a small fry to my order. Like really? Just such nasty attitudes, bad vibes. I see why they hate their job, all the negativity just radiates off all of them. My bad you work at Popeyes but if you gonna work there, then be professional. Not ratchet, and ghetto, and illiterate.(Universal words that pertain to any color or race). But yea these people need an attitude check and a customer service class. There’s just no way possible that someone interviewed these people and thought«wow, we like your attitude, you’re hired!» Ridiculous.

FORTHELOVEOFGODCLOSEDOWNTHISLOCATION!!! I waited in the drivethru line 10 mins and when i finally got to the intercom no one said anything to me so i waited there for another 5 or so minutes. the car in front of me pulled off but I waited even longer and still no one said anything through the intercom. I assumed since I had been waiting at the intercom for about 5 more minutes and there was no longer a car in front of me that it was possibly broken so I drove up to the front window. The girl at the front rudely said to me «we dont take orders through the window» and i said«oh ok, but i was just waiting at the intercom for over 5 minutes and no one said anything» she then began to attempt to ARGUEWITHME that she had said something(COMPLETLYUNTURE). Appalled at how she was speaking to me I asked to speak to the manager. A heavyset black woman with a Jamacian(?) accent came to the window claiming to be the manager. She asked what was going on and I explained to her RESPECTFULLY that I had been waiting at the intercom for more then 5 minutes and no one said anything so I assumed that it was broken and drove up to the window. She ROLLEDHEREYES at me and said with an EVENRUDERTONETHENTHEOTHERGIRL that they dont take orders through the window. I told her I understand that but that the fact that a customer was waiting at the intercom for more 5 minutes with no other car in front of them without anyone even telling them to wait a moment was pretty unacceptable as far as good customer service goes and she literally proceeded to say«YOUJUSTHAVE A NICEFUCKINGDAY» ANDSLAMMEDTHEWINDOWCLOSEDINMYFACE!!! I was SHOCKED!!! Especailly since I had done NOTHING to deserve or provoke such disrespect. I’ve worked in customer service for over 10 years as simply an employee and also a manager would NEVER treat a customer that way. Safe to say I will NEVER be spending my money at this or ANY Popeyes EVER again.

Normally I like popeyes but this one is the worst. The drive thur took 25 minutes. They were out of tenders so I ordered a three piece platter which had three of the smallest pieces of greasy rubbery chicken. Banquet frozen chicken would have been better, my sweet had no ice, the biscuit was stale. Plus the window server was rude when they messed up my order. Then gave me this horrible miserible excuse of a meal without apologizing. This location is bringing down the chain and has turned me off of popeyes. O should have gone to KFC, Louisiana, or Church’s Chicken inside.

Anyone who enjoys good fast food fried chicken knows that Popeyes is the best. Although their food is ridiculously good, this location is not. For one, there is a massive protective glass in front of the register counter which makes it almost impossible to hear what the employees are saying and vice versa. I understand this is a safety precaution, but there should maybe be a speaker or something in order to make this easier. Second, whoever was putting the boxes together was not reading the receipts properly seeing as how she messed up our order multiple times. Thankfully enough we were dining in so we were able to have it fixed, but having to try to explain through bulletproof glass didn’t make the experience very enjoyable. Food is ridiculously delicious, service sucks.

A few of the employees at this location lack basic customer service… pulled up to the drive thru earlier today around 10:30am…the drive handout chick that collected our money and gave us our food had a bad attitude and replied unprofessionally when my friend asked her a simple question. No need to snap at your own customers!!! Service needs major work, food is good.

I was in a naughty food mood… again! I stopped by this Popeye’s on La brea on my way home. It is located in a so so area. There is a Jack n the Box across the street and a mortuary. There was a looooong drive thru line complete with dirty bullet proof windows. Are people really that crazy for chicken? These telling signs should’ve made me drive away but I was being stubborn. I was being very stubborn and non compliant with my wise mind. I ordered the three piece meal. My son got the popcorn shrimp. My total was 20 bucks! Fast food worker was very whatever and not friendly. I drove away without checking my food. They only gave me two pieces of chicken. Whatever… why are we raising their minimum wage again? The popcorn shrimp is minuscule and very salty. Nice fries. Coleslaw tasted old and biscuits became really gummy and sticky once chewed. That ain’t right. Yes, I am Black and I like fried chicken and watermelon… but not like this. Never like this.

This place is a joke. On this particular Sunday afternoon they did not have fries, mac and cheese, or even sodas! It took over 20 minutes for a 5-piece tenders. Expectation are not that high when you go to a fast food restaurant, but this is ridiculous

Worst restaurant ever, or sorry Jail. The staff is amazingly rude. A decision to enter and leave the crazy place took us literally less than 3 min. Never ever again.

This has to be the worst customer service Ive ever received. The girls in the drive thru were short and rude. I gave them my card to pay, and they gave me the wrong card back! I automatically seen that the card wasn’t mine. I tried to get the employees attention and they where just ignoring me! So I literally had to bang on the window to get their attention. I explained to them that I was given the wrong card back. They just handed my card back, no sorry, nothing… Just a dirty look. I will never return to this location!

I was in LA for the day to get some car parts, went to this dump. The manager was so rude just talking on the phone ignoring me. She tossed the food at me and it was a pile of fried? She kept starring at me all angry for no reason. I smiled back, that mad her more angry. I just left the food on the table and walked out. I guess they don’t need business, it gets in the way of personal phone calls and hating.

Got good customer service from manager Ronda this past Saturday. She made sure the orders were right. The chicken taste kinda dry though. Ok, flavor.

I don’t even want to give 1 star. I am from the south and can appreciate southern quality fast food but this location is complete GARBAGE. The service is below subpar.

Love the menu items, but every time I order the red beans and rice, they always seem to give too much rice that absorbs juices. So I started requesting the red beans and rice in separate containers, but they sometimes have a fit about that as if its too much work, or still end up putting them together. After complaining to manager, I decided to make it easier and just order red beans since I really like the flavor and creaminess, but for some reason they still want to add rice, or the container is half full, like they are not cooking enough of them. Wow, they make sure they get paid, so they need to make sure they get my order right? DAMN! Having to go back after finding the wrong order, no sauce, or something else with nothing in return but sorry, if you get that.

Not bad. No idea what the shitty reviews are for. Disagree with Jonathan Gold(who holds than Popeye’s makes some of the better fast food chicken in this area), and think the Jim Dandy’s spicy chicken takes the cake. But in a pinch? Popeye’s is all right with me. get the spicy.

I feel a little silly giving a fast food«restaurant» a review but the service I’ve received here has been bad time and time again and I feel the pressing need to write this. Most of the time that I’ve been here, it’s been through the drive thru. Compared to some of the other reviews on here, I haven’t had an exceptionally long wait. That’s probably the only good part of my experience here, aside from the tasty chicken! The people at the drive thru windows are almost always rude. I always order the same thing from here: 5 pc chicken tender combo with fries on the side, and a side order of popcorn shrimp. I always ask for two different kinds of sauces because I share this with my fiancé. 9⁄10 times this is where the trouble begins! I’m always met with a scowl like the extra sauces are coming out of their paycheck! One time, my fiancé and I went in and ate inside. It’s very small in there with not many seating areas available(one of the reasons why we choose to use the drive thru). After we got our food, my fiancé went back to the counter to ask for extra sauces. The lady told him that she’d have to charge him. Since we’ve always gotten the extra sauces free of charge(not free of attitude, however) this was a bit confusing. We continued to eat our food and once I ran out of sauce I went up to the counter with my wallet to buy a second and the lady, the same one who spoke to my fiancé not long before, ended up just giving the sauce to me. I don’t know why I ended up getting special treatment but that kind of behavior isn’t right. Charging certain people while others get it for free? That seems pretty discriminatory.
