I have been a customer for years and I love the coco and nuez raspados. However, today I requested to sample the strawberry and guava and the lady refused to give me a sample. I was shocked! I told her I couldn’t believe I can’t try one and she agreed to only give me ONE sample. I asked for two so I can have an option. This is a big deal to me since I have been a long time customer and now that I don’t consume dairy products I needed to explore the other options. So she only gave me one sample and ended up walking away with my son’s sorbet.
I forgot to mention that the attitude overall of the lady working there is negative. This is not based on this isolated experience.

I can never complain about any of Don Manuel’s locations, they all have what I want;
my coco with nuez raspado,
Hot Cheetos with cheese,
Churroslocos, tostilocos,
Ice cream,
You name it, everything tastes so damn good specially their nacho cheese I haven’t tried any other as good as theirs to be honest.
The same nice lady has been working here since I was in high school and I gotta say she is the best to me! Great customer service she treats all the customers the same way, not because she knows me well shes gonna let me go first.

The mangoneada is one of my many favorites here. The chamoy and chili powder at the bottom make it taste so good. Definitely recommend to stop by when in the area of Boyle heights

Best raspados ever!!! The place is very clean and newly remodeled. I would definitely recommend trying these 100% natural raspados. The service is outstanding and the line moves fast. I recommend a raspado de Nuez and a diablito.

The best raspados ever! no one cant top these i mean I don’t care about the service or anything i just want my diablito and my raspado yummy! Got to love this place well all because they have 5 !!

Best raspado place ever. I’ve tried various other places, but none top this one. Every time I’m around the area I make it a point to stop by and get my usual vanilla and butter pecan raspado with cream on top. This place doesn’t need phony customer service– the product sells itself.

this is the second place i try to go for just a plain o’ vanilla rasapado with lechera. Whats going on People!!! they messed it up, it taste nothing like vanilla, it tasted like cough medicine.
