The outdoor seating area smelled like pee. It was very unpleasant to sit outdoor. There was nothing special about this Starbucks.

The absolute worst Starbucks I have ever been to. FOUR people working behind the counter, and it took 8 minutes to get my drink and there were only 2 people ahead of me. The place was empty! It’s rare to see so many employees working at once, but you’d think they’d be able to make a drink in a timely manner!

[ B L U R B S ]: Ridiculous. Ridiculous. Ridiculous! I’ve been here many times and every time it’s always packed and it feels like it’s understaffed to accommodate the popularity of this location. I don’t know what it is, but it’s always full and never seems to have enough workers so the lines are slow and it’s slow to get your drink order. :( [ D R I N K S ]: Went today and tried to order a steamed coconut milk with pumpkin spice and they were out of the ingredients. –_– Ended up not ordering anything because to get back in line was insane(it was out the door). [ S E R V I C E ]: The toilets were disgusting with absolutely no toilet paper, hand towels, and the outside were completely out of napkins. The trashcans were overfilled outside and inside the restrooms. It was filthy. Ugh. Definitely need more staff at this location to mediate the mess of customers that’s always crowding the store.

I love this place, the baristas are courteous fast and they help you on what you may order, Andrew, Elizabeth and a few others(which I don’t know or recall their names) are always so friendly and respectful, coffee is great the out side tables are great to relax sip on your coffee and enjoy a cigarette, I became a regular on this place that I don’t even worry about parking lot because I never get a ticket to validate, I take advantage of the closing hours 1:00 am and I’m always there on the weekends till they close.

This one is close to my work place so i frequently come here. This place is usually crowded. However i did notice, that there is another starkbucks few blocks aways from this one which is much better. I mean the staffs are more friendly and they do greet you with a big smile. Nevertheless i enjoyed this location too.

Great spot to shrug the day’s stress off. They have a private lot but you need to keep the ticket with you and get it validated in the store.

This Starbucks was open after midnight, which was convenient. Chanel took my order, asked if I minded if it was upside down. I was never asked that before, so I found that courteous. My drink come out as good as you can get a caramel macchiato. I was in and out fairly quick. Nice haven to escape the cold and wait for an Über or Lyft driver.

I can order via phone app instead of waiting in line, but what’s the fun in that! This Starbucks shares the same parking lot as Office Depot. Make sure to get it validated. I appreciate Starbucks for its consistency. Starbucks thrives despite Unilocal reviews.

Below the Median Percentile Amongst all Starbuck’s Experiences — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — - I’ve ordered coffee a couple of times at this Little Tokyo location. Unfortunately, it doesn’t inspire me to take a a seat or hang out a bit. Rather my impulse is to get my coffee and get the f*ck out. There are some skeezy looking characters coming into this particular location. I can’t tell if they are homeless or just unbathed hipsters loitering around. The creep factor is a bit higher in here compared to other DTLA Starbuck’s. The space appears large from the outside but its oddly claustrophobic inside. There really isn’t space to lounge around like other DTLA Starbucks(Grand/11th or 9th/Flower). The line could be a convoluted mess at peak times. The product and service is pretty standard Starbuck’s. What’s lacking is a general sense of comfort you come to expect at a coffee shop. Its more akin to the angst one might feel at a crowded subway or train station. Check out the statue of Chinune Sugihara on the sidewalk nearby. Its only thing cool about this Starbuck’s.

Popped in for a much-needed caffeine boost, but ended up waiting waaayyyy longer than expected for my drink, and there wasn’t even that crazy of a crowd. Nothing really special about this particular location, but I would say that the baristas here do seem a bit more friendly than I’ve seen at other locations though!

I visit this Star bucks or A Star bucks everyday. Sometime I get Venti Caramel Java chips, an Iced mocha, or a caramel machiato, but lately I’ve been getting coffee because I have been working so I just drink it consistently. This is my third bad experience at this location in a row, in the past week. The was an employee who’s name I will not mention, that accused me of trying to «steal coffee.» I came back for a 50 cent refill as I often do. She proceeded to throw away my other cup(an venti) and told me after she threw it away that she would«give me» and tall and then charged me for the 50 cent refill. I see homeless people in and out of here all the time, actually stealing, milk and so on, and I’m the thief? She informed me that she had been on the register 2 hours exactly and pointed to the policy(that there is a two hour time limit on refills, there are also sales items blocking half of the sign. Despite that, I’ve heard employees here argue with people about the refills before” it’s not valid if you leave.” Then a manager says” that’s not true, if you’re on the patio, it’s ok.“ I would have just taken my cup to another star bucks if I knew she was going to toss it and explained the situation to a manager. I don’t know where the actual manager was at this time, but the employee was intentionally being loud as if trying to embarrass me, but I work for a living and one of the main reasons why I have been loyal to star bucks is because, people are professional(not here), I get 50 refills if I’m coffeeing up(not here) I can study(not here) at least at this one I can warn people from Unilocal to go to a different location, or perhaps different coffee shop, there’s a tom’s tom’s near by and a million other shops. So when is a refill okay and not okay, and how come an employee is looking at me suspiciously inspecting my cup as she is a detective, was she checking to see if my fingerprints matched? Or maybe she’s a super sleuth and got into the wrong job field. CUSTOMERSERVICE! Perhaps, she should be on her way to joining the Police force if BUSTYING people is her desire, I also work in customer service btw. Complaints of things I ran into this week: Someone sleeping in the bathroom (The same employee arguing with another patron girl patron when manager BEN was working, and then this specific manager had to correct the situation and enlighten this employee that this girl(the customer) can switch from her(more expensive coffee drink) to a refill. So apparently even the employee doesn’t understand the policy that I am supposed, in the place I come into everyday, where everyone is friendly, aside from this employee.) Internet being shut off at 11:25 pm: when I just bought a coffee drink to use the internet because I was away from my apartment, so are you only open to 11:25 pm?(I’ve heard numerous, numerous complaints about this) I complained about the fact that there is never a dark roast. But I have been in morning noon and night and it is never there, but apparently they make it in the morning? I was finally told this after 3 weeks of no dark roast, I think someone is trying to make their numbers look better at my expense, even 711 and circle k have a dark roast all day and night long, but the coffee corp doesn’t? There is no milk, and I don’t like using half and half. The bathroom is gross, always. the reviews are bad enough, so giving the one star isn’t appropriate, you deserve 5! Thanks guys!

Sorry but I been a customer here for 3 years, and today’s mango tea was the most horrible one . It’s around 2:30. So please teach the person not to change the recipe on the drinks …

Thesis; This Starbucks is the best. I came here with my two friends after getting stoned in front of a beautiful view in DTLA. I came up to the register and was greeted by a male named Andrew. I got to say he was very polite, funny, and patient. He asked me for my drink and I asked for their secret menu item the«Cotton Candy Frap». He smiled and ask if I knew what was in it.(I figured he was testing me.” And I said it’s a Vanilla Bean with raspberry syrup. He then laughed in approval and rung me up. While waiting for my drink I saw this man in a beanie struggling with two trays of latte’s(I’m assuming,) and I told my friend to go help him and open the door.(I’m pretty shy to help sometimes.) When my friend came back from helping he said that guy said«you’re the best». I told him«you’re the best because of me» he agreed and said«thank you, Evelyn». We then go wait and get our drink pretty quick. And that was the end of it.

Out of all other SB locations, this location smells weird. I dont exactly know what the smell is but it seems to me is the acidity of the roasted coffee besns which is not very pleasant. They used to give out validations without asking anything but now they actually require purchasing at the store if you need a parking validation. I kind of understand but then not really. The girl was being a little too rude when I just had my parking card on the countet and she like pushed it towards me saying she cant give a validation. That was kind of mean. I come here all the time whenever I am in Little Tokyo. Drinks are the same as other locations too. Parking is free for 2 hours.

This place is alright. Came here to kill some time and have been here several times before, too, and this will be a review of my overall experience. Place is a little noisy, so I don’t recommend coming here to study or get any work done. Maybe if you just want to chill and do something on your laptop that doesn’t require any thinking like watching YouTube. But good luck with that because their wifi is SOSLOW!(for free wifi, I’d rather go to O ZERO across the street). Drinks are typical and taste like any ol’ Starbucks. Service is alright. I asked for just a Venti Iced Water, and I guess they have a rule that if you’re not planning to buy anything else they’re only allowed to give a tall size.(I don’t get it, but okay.) Bathrooms are locked and require a passcode to get in. a little annoying. Tip: They validate for parking in the Staples parking lot. Overall: MEH.

I have to say this location needs more staff members. This place gets very busy after 6am. I was very surprised to see a line outside the door at 6:30am. They have a private that they validated your parking. This Starbucks is located in the heart of Little Tokyo. I’m sure we all have been to plenty of Starbucks before, this locations does not do for me. If you come here on the weekends it’s very hard find seating indoors or outdoors. If you are looking to just hang out then it may not be the place for you. What more can say then this locations is great if you got plenty of time on your hands. This not my first choice when it comes to Starbucks in the area.

Met with some friends here. Good location to meet 4 – 5 people with good validated parking. Location is always busy here. Clean restrooms, tables inside and out. I come to this Starbucks because of Office Depot right next door and easy parking.
