Usually we get great food and great service from Terroni. However, tonight was different. My husband and I were excited to call in for dessert after dinner and pick it up as soon as the kids are asleep. My husband called 15 mins before getting there and the dessert was not ready at all. He had to put another order in and waited another 15 mins. Usually a good restaurant in the city would do something extra to make the customer feel good about their experience in their restaurant… Well Terroni doesn’t care about that. They didn’t give my husband anything, even a discount or owned up to their mistake. I didn’t believe him that they were so careless so I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager. The manager seemed like he cared a little more and asked me about who took the order, what time, etc. but again. He just said he will talk to whoever made the mistake and didn’t really apologize or own up to it as the restaurant’s fault. No offer of any sorts. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me but I usually go to good restaurants and they offer customers discounts or something for free or at least apologize for their mistake to make the customer feel good. So they can keep coming! Oh well, Terroni. You fail at giving top notch service, you lose repeat customers. Sigh.

Father’s Day– wanted my Italian friend to have a great meal… and this one did not disappoint. The service was great… the staff lovely… the wine list divine… started with chicken livers… Amazing… Seriously amazing… And the warm octopus salad and the bone marrow with gnocchetti… better yet… And finished with 3 entrees– green Lasagna, saltimbocca and branzini… all of which were superb… We will be back for more!!!

I thought this was a cute place to spend a sunny New Years Day brunch. We sat outside and were able to people watch while we sipped on a bottle of prosecco. My friend and I split the pizza with prosciutto and poached egg as well as a baked egg dish that had spicy sausage. Both were very tasty and very filling. The pizzas are served uncut so you have to use a fork and knife and they do not, will not use parmesan cheese but that wasn’t missed at all. Their pasta dishes looked unbelievable and service was friendly. Definitely recommend for an easy going meal.

My husband and another couple friend of ours went to dinner last night at Terroni on Beverly to celebrate a special occasion. Their menu is slightly limited, mostly pizza and pasta items but enough things to choose from. My husband and I shared the caprese salad, I ordered the pasta special which was noodles with crab meat and a tomato sauce and my husband ordered the beef ravioli with cream sauce. When the runner brought out the caprese it had no oil or balsamic vinegar on it so I had has for a side of balsamic. The runner stated that the restaurant does not have any balsamic(whether that meant that they did not have any to provide for customers or that they literally did not have any period I was not told). The caprese was ok, we poured some of the olive oil from the table that was provided with the bread and that gave it some more flavor. The table also does not have salt of pepper and the restaurant does not provide that to costumers as well. Our main dishes arrived and I asked the runner for some cheese from my pasta. He left the table and the waitress arrived and stated that customers are not allowed to have cheese with any«fish» pasta dishes and there was nothing she could do about that policy(mind you, there is no visible statement on the menu that says you cannot have cheese with any«fish» pasta dish you order). One of our friends then asked for a side of cheese and the waitress proceeded to laugh at him, say no, and walked away. I was extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service provided by the waitress and the restaurant. If you are going to have a restaurant policy such as this it should be the obligation of the restaurant to tell the customer when they order the dish that they cannot have cheese with it, and also, maybe, put it in the menu next to the dishes with«fish» in them. The waitress never came back to ask how the food was, mind you my dish was not very tasty and I took about three bites of it. I would have also expected that the waitress would have asked if I liked the item, and that if I did not since I would not be able to have cheese with my «fish», to then offer me another selection that could have cheese with it. Needless to say all four of us were not very pleased with the service or this hidden policy. Since we were celebrating a special occasion, I did not want to escalate the issue so I decided to contact the manager today(the next day) about our experience. I spoke with one of the managers, Drew, and explained to him what happened. His response was that since«too much time had passed» between last night and today(that is less than 24 hours but apparently that is TOO much time), there really wasn’t anything he could do about it, that he has full trust in his wait staff and that if I wanted to come back again the try their food another night, he would be happy to assist me with that. While Drew did acknowledge that the«fish» policy was not on the menu but only listed next to one dish, a dish I did not order, and that many other customers have voiced complaints with this policy, there really wasn’t much he was going to do about it. I cannot imagine working in a customer service oriented industry and not doing your best to assist your customers when they have a complaint or issue but I guess Terroni does SO well,(3.5 stars on Unilocal) that they don’t care if they lose customers or have happy customers. This was the first and last time at this restaurant.

This is going to be a quick breakdown of the place in regards to the food and atmosphere. Valet — $ 6. There is no way you can find parking otherwise unless you somehow found parking in the apartment complex nearby in the visitor parking. Atmosphere — Dark. Lightly lit and there’s a black and white movie playing on the wall. It gets EXTREMELY busy after 6:00pm so get those reservations in if you’re really eager to try this place. Food — I ordered what I know best which is Seafood Pasta(there was another name for it but the description was a bunch of seafood in the dish) and is $ 21. My boyfriend & his friends got the Truffle Pasta($ 28). My dish looked delicious. Their plates kind of smelled weird. Breakdown of Food — noodles were a bit hard(as if it didn’t really absorb all the sauce/juice). The clams & shrimp were so BLAND! Just no taste. It was dry and same as the noodles, just did not absorb the flavoring. The sauce was good but overall, not as good as I expected. Overall, probably won’t come back here again but that’s just because it’s a non memorable experience & parking was horrible. But if you want to try this place out, I’d recommend my dish. If you’re an adventurous, try the truffle pasta.

Super cool crowd — Super loud(good for dates, but not good for groups unless you get a private room) Great food — best calimari — great pizza — bruschetta with burrata & jamon and truffles… pretty dam good! Great wine list — Sommelier is really cool(Edwardo!)… he knows his italian juice… they have 4 Lugana wines on the list… nobody has that… Location is super well thought out… staff is good… and I think its one of the better operators in LA… the downtown location is also great. Nice Negroni at the bar … and they let me go crazy on corkage(but I’m not sure how much that cost as I was treated… thank you my friend) Pricey — yes — its not the cheapest place but you get very good quality. I think the pizza and other dishes are better than the pastas… but its a great place to share everything. Bisteaka was impressive… massive and only $ 39… not bad… nicely done, really.

I think Terroni may be one of my new favorite Italian restaurants in West Hollywood. I live in the Miracle Mile area and I’ve passed by Terroni a few times around dinner time. It always has white Christmas lights hanging on the exterior and looks like a cute, romantic date night type of spot. I never gave it too much thought, but I immediately made a reservation the moment I discovered that stuffed Zucchini Flowers were on their menu. I made a reservation for Thursday night at 7:30pm for a Party of 2. We drove to the area around 7:10pm and found decent street parking 2 blocks away(Always look for parking in the area before giving in to Valet! You’d be surprised at the spots you can find). We were greeted by a lovely host, seated immediately, and served a basket of delicious bread with extra virgin olive oil. We started off with none other than the«Fiori di Zucchine»(zucchini flowers of course) for appetizers. I’ve wanted to try stuffed zucchini flowers for a while. I imagined it would be a decadent treat — tempuraish fried goodness stuffed with delicious ricotta and mozzarella. The zucchini flowers we got weren’t fried in a tempura-like batter like I had pictured, but in a seasoned bread crumb batter(similar to fried stuffed jalapenos). The filling was mainly ricotta with some parmesan. No mozzarella. Nevertheless, these were DELICIOUS! There wasn’t any dipping sauce served with these bad boys, but they came on a plate with about 4 pieces of tomatoes, some salted dehydrated zucchini, and a garnish basil. This was no salad, but it was still nice to munch on after devouring pieces of fried goodness. Speaking of salads, we ordered the«Verde» salad(Organic mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, olives with balsamic vinegar and extra-virgin olive oil) It was a huge portion for only $ 7. It was also the perfect side to complement the Truffle Pasta we ordered. I don’t remember the actual name that was on their menu for this, but I highly recommend checking their specials section in their menu and ORDERINGTHIS! Get this! It will NOT disappoint! It looked small at first, but as we started eating, it turned out that the portion for this pasta was greatly generous as well. We ordered 1 pasta dish for 2 girls yet we couldn’t finish it(Trust me, we LOVE food). The Truffle Pasta was AMAZING. It was spaghetti noodle pasta with homemade sausage, parmigiana, and shavings of black truffle. Absolutely phenomenal. My friend and I were silent for the first few minutes of our meal because we couldn’t stop stuffing our faces. SO. GOOD. There were so many other items on their menu that we wanted to try, but couldn’t. I am definitely coming back to Terroni because my heart(and my stomach) are set on their«Rigatoni Arcobaleno», «Arancini di Modica», and their popular Nutella ice cream dessert. Til next time, Terroni!

We had brunch here a few Saturdays ago after my son’s soccer class. Aside from another table, it was completely empty at 10:15am, which I thought really strange. I ordered my usual salmon benedict and would rate it a 7⁄10. It was good enough though I didn’t really think the salad that came with it should have been paired with the dish. My Americano was phenomenal though. I wonder what coffee beans they use. Service was also good(though I would expect such as there were only two tables to be served). I wouldn’t make an out-of-the-way trip to come here but since I only live two miles away, if I were in the area, I would come back.

My friend and I came here at around 6:30 for a small dinner on a Friday! Parking was easy– it’s walking distance from The Grove and there was metered parking all around(1 hr max until 8pm)! We were seated and given a bread basket + olive oil right away. The bread was amaaazing! The sourdough was so fresh and moist, while the focaccia was extremely flavorful and had a few tomato pieces on top. We were so preoccupied with the bread + olive oil that we didn’t realize over 15 min had passed without anyone asking us for our orders. A little disappointing. My friend and I never pass up cured meats and cheeses, so we ordered 2 and a pasta to share. Tagliere Mezzo E Mezzo($ 22) — the half meat/half cheese platter was good. I mean, you can’t really mess up on a meat and cheese platter. It came with two types of meats, two cheeses, walnuts, pickled veggies, orange slices, honey and some type of spiced cracker.(THEHONEYWASBOMBBB) Prosciutto d’Anatra e Burrata.($ 18) –duck proscuitto, Burrata, spinach and extra virgin olive oil! I thought this dish was okay, mainly because I’ve never had duck proscuitto before so it was something new… but I won’t be ordering it again. I’ve had creamier burrata and the thinly sliced duck proscuitto was almost melting into the plate LOL (The table next to us ordered the ricotta balls and they looked SOGOOD –sigh, regret.) We also ordered the truffle spaghetti from their specials menu($ 28?) It wasn’t as good as Bestia’s version, but it was still amazing! Definitely saved the meal. The spaghetti was cooked perfectly and the sauce was just the right consistency– thick enough to coat the noodles, but liquidy enough so we could soak up the sauce with our left over sourdough pieces ^____^! I was going to give this 4 stars, but with the service– 3.5!(The table next to us had such a cheery and helpful sommelier, so maybe we were just unlucky.) Overall, it came out to be around $ 80. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their pasta dishes(and wines hehe) if I’m near the grove again and craving some decently priced Italian!

We sat outside and it is so shaded it was a little cold. I ordered coffee and they only have espresso. The waitress suggested the tuna salad and I thought it was ahi but it was like Chicken of the Seas kind and I didn’t like that salad. The latte was good. I ended up eating some of my friend’s beet salad and it was excellent. Also great gf tip– order the potatoes and dip in the olive oil! Perfect.

Terroni is one of those places where you know you will eat good/savory/consistent food. It’s practically in their mission statement. I ate here several times(always good), but most of all is exactly as good as their places in Toronto(Canada). Even more I feel to add that I was born and raised in Italy, and I can tell you that it doesn’t get any more Italian then here !

Terroni is a great local restaurant. Everything on the menu is amazing and the chef is super friendly. All the pastas, meats and pizzas are amazing. I have been eating here for years and I have not been let down. I strongly suggest eating here. There is valet in front or street parking if you can find it.

As always, Terroni never disappoints. Always a 5 star dinner. From wines, to entries, to desserts, atmosphere and service, it’s always a pleasant experience. I’m going to start with the Entry dishes because that’s really where the life changing experience is at… No joke! I have brought converted over a dozen people to Terroni who had otherwise«only remember driving by it» after having them try a single dish… Tonnarelli pasta with truffle –they are hooked. Pure Pasta Heaven! In a taste test I’d put my money on Terroni’s truffle pasta over any other Italian restaurant in town… even that place a couple blocks down ;) Not to mention it’s almost half the price at $ 26 – 28! Perfect portion, pasta perfectly cooked, meat is delicious, with a hefty portion of truffle… You really can’t beat it. If it’s your first time at Terroni YOUHAVETOTRYTHETONNARELLIPASTAWITHTRUFFLE! After you’ve become a seasoned Terroni addict, by addict I mean coming in for the Tonnarelli 4 times a month, I suggest you try the Reginette with Gorgonzola cheese. It’s a bit more hearty/filling than the Tonnarelli and just as satisfying. It’s got a bit more of a bitter cheese kick to it because of the Gorgonzola but it is absolutely delicious. Just don’t end up like me, you’ll drive yourself nuts just tying to decide on which one to get after experiencing both. Continuing with the theme, appetizers are next. Salad is a toss up between the Giuggiolosa and the Barbabietole. Listen if you want something with beets, go with the Barbabietole. If you want something totally twisted with amazing cheese and honey… yes I said honey… Go with the Giuggiolosa! Can NOT go wrong either either! The lightly fried calamari is so fresh you it will be hard to tell it’s fried. I’ll save you the embarrassment, do NOT ask for any marinara dipping sauce because you will get denied! All you’ll get is a slice of lemon because frankly it’s better that way. Cold cut and cheese plate on the cutting board is also a fan favorite, especially if you’re going to make dinner a social event… You might as well because you’re going to inhale the pasta! Everything from walnuts and honey to extremely tasty cold cuts to some amazing stinky cheeses;) Fiori di Zucchine are a smaller portioned appetizer but with a big kick. Deep fried zucchini flowers with ricotta & parmigano… So darn good you could easily shoot yourself in the foot by fulfilling an appetite on these alone! Finally…Desserts…Where do we start. An endless cycle of favorites. Panna Cotta is my favorite at the moment. One of the best in town hands down! Home made, fresh berries… so refreshing after a hearty meal. If your meal was on the lighter side or you frankly just DGAF go with the Nutella Fritters… Paired perfectly with a gelato. Their tiramisu is home made, fresh espresso, served in a jar. If you’re a lover of tiramisu, your addiction will continue after this one. That’s all for now people, try it, love it, live it. Terroni. I can wrap my head around why Terroni doesn’t have at least a 4.5 average on Unilocal,it’s baffling. It really is one of the top 3 premier Italian food spots in LA… except of course with a better atmosphere, cooler clientele and the least douchie place to be seen. Not to mention with way cooler servers. Shout out to Spencer, first server experience I had at Terroni and still the absolute best! Always accommodating and will finish your sentences for you, dude knows whats up and will lead you through the amazing culinary experience that is… Terroni. Ciao!

I walked by the Terroni in DTLA, and vowed to come to one the two locations. I ended up coming to the West LA location that is on Beverly & Curson, just west of Fairfax in you guessed it, the Fairfax. They serve classic Italian, and have a handful of locations in Toronto, in addition to the two in LA. We ordered the arancini di modica($ 15 — rice balls stuffed w/cheese & meat), fiore di zucchine($ 15 — deep fried squash blossoms w/ricotta & parmigano), funghi assoluti($ 15 — baked oyster mushrooms served on arugula), spaghetti al limone($ 17), and the Beppe Beppino Beppuccio white pizza($ 18 — buffalo milk mozzarella, black olives, cherry tomatoes, parmigiano shavings, fresh basil). First of all, the arancini were very good. There was plenty of fillings in these perfectly fried goodies. In addition, I liked the unique shape. The only room for improvement would have been a sauce for dipping: 4 Stars. Secondarily, the fiore were excellent. They too were nicely fried, and the combo of cheese and blossoms were perfectly executed: 5 Stars. The third dish, the funghi was just OK in my mind. I would have preferred the funghi be seasoned better to make the taste stand out: 3 Stars. Fourthly, the spaghetti was too sour for my taste. I know it is limone, but the lemon flavor overpowered the dish. Additionally, the price was high for the portion: 3 Stars. Lastly, the pizza was just OK too. It had a ton of cheese that drowned the sweetness of the cherry tomatoes, and brininess of the olives: 3 Stars. Our waitress was excellent. She was super nice, very accommodating(w/all of her special requests — hehehehe): 5 Stars. In addition, the front desk was very kind and allowed us to arrive a little late: 5 Stars. Regarding the ambiance, I love this freakin place!!! It was loud, without being too loud. The bar area had a lot of energy, as did the restaurant. Additionally, most of the clientele were hawt ladies!!!: 5+++ Stars. I can’t wait to come back and try a wider array of options. She doesn’t like certain things(which is cool, cos you don’t want to eat things you don’t like). But the menu is very diverse, and can accommodate the most sensitive of palates. Terroni means«Southerners»(where the cuisine comes from in Italy, a more sunny region). I can’t wait to come back and bask in the«sunny» ambiance.

Breakfast is much better than dinner. we started off with a pizza and then had eggs with sausage and a salad. grreat portion and the home girl Yana got it right this time. I love the spicy side they give to put on food. Since they don’t provide parmesan, ketchup, or any other condement it’s important.

Located on Beverly right across from The Grove, Terroni is that delightful mix of delicious, thoughtful pasta and a hip place to grab a wine and dine. Make a reservation! Even on weekday evenings. Terroni gets busy pretty much every day during dinner. They have valet parking outside for pretty cheap(I’m not 100% but I think it’s $ 3 – 4) and some street parking nearby if you’re lucky. They have a huge selection of wines as well as designated wine connoisseurs to help you pick and choose to your personal palette. Great place for winos. Cheese and meat appetizer plate is always a go to. The meats are fresh and they give a couple really delicious Brie and aged cheeses. Free bread for the table comes with olive oil for dipping, so that’s also nice to mix. You can’t really go wrong with any of their menu items, as they specifically state on their menu they don’t take substitution requests because each dish is made to taste just perfect. I think that’s awesome. My pro tip for you is to venture off the menu and order«the truffle pasta.» It has some more Italian complex name that I just can’t recall and for some reason has been taken off the menu, but it is truly a truffle lover’s dream(if you’re into that sort of thing). Slightly on the pricier side as most truffle goods are, but trust me. Every waiter we’ve asked says there is no better choice. Bön appetit!
