My companion and I had lunch here today. The results were very disappointing for a Hilton property. To be specific: The usually good salad bar was closed, only open a couple days a week. Ordered off the menu. I ordered sparking water but got still water instead. My companion ordered a medium rare burger and got it blood red instead. I ordered a skirt steak and it was actually tough, even for the steak knife provided. The waiter whizzed by at one point asking as he went if everything was OK, but he was gone before I had a chance to respond that it was not. Not planning to return anytime soon.

Crazy stupid expensive breakfast here. It is fairly good, but expect to pay $ 18.75 for Eggs Benedict, $ 5:50 for orange juice and $ 4.50 for coffee. But it is convenient and they know it. Service is good, but be prepared for sticker shock. Only eat here if you are pressed for time.

Good food and a nice atmosphere. A little pricey but it is a hotel. The pizzas are great. They have a proper pizza oven.

This review is for the café located in the Hilton LAX lobby area. I have been here twice now for a conference and ate here purely out of convenience. Ordered a turkey sandwich the first time which was stale and bland. Second time, I ordered the veggie lasagna. It was basically 90% cheese intermixed with veggie pasta mush. I ended up using it as a spread over the bread that was included with it just to break up the monotony of the mush. I would recommend going with the prepackaged stuff if you must eat here. Drip coffee is safe too.

It’s Hilton, it’s large, it’s busy, it’s LAX Hilton. Plenty of parking and good breakfast, kind of pricey for the buffet but you can order right off the menu. Good Coffee and great people watching.

always a good time. Pizza’s are a great bargain as are the pre packaged salads. I stop in every morning for my double shot espresso.

Great service at the beginning. Magdalena provided excellent service. We ordered the ahi tuna salad and the burger. Burger was great, but the salad had a big crawling around. Looked like a weird ladybug. It ruined our appetite. To top it off, they sent us out the same thing. I’m surprised considering that this is semi fine dining. They didn’t even apologize.

For the price it costs to get in, one would think you could get Eggs Benedict or something. But no, it’s your average continental breakfast.

this was pretty good for a hotel restaurant. For lunch I had the soup and ahi salad. the soup was especially good. even the bread was good. Now granted there were about 8 of us in our party and we were the only ones there but still the servers definitly went out of their way to earn their tip.

I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast available at The Café. You could opt for the extensive buffet, but I ordered Eggs Benedict off the menu. I substituted fruit for potatoes and was pleased with the quality and quantity. I was very happy with the overall dish — one alert is that«bacon» in the description really means«Candian bacon» or «ham».

This hotel is beautiful but it sucks at the same time! The hotel and bed is SUPER comfy and for being RIGHTNEXTDOOR to the airport it isn’t loud at all. Pool is nice — there are 4 jacuzzis((WOOHOO)) but they make you pay for EVERYTHING! parking is $ 20 a day((UGH)) internet isn’t free — which is WACK cuz even the cheapo hotels don’t charge! To put the cherry on top no FREE breakfast! soo annoying! NOMOREPRICELINE!

i ate here this morning for their breakfast buffet and on friday night for their salad buffet. i guess i was in a buffet type mood — but really, i didn’t feel like waiting for my food. the salad bar/breakfast bar is really super clean and well taken care of. for the salad buffet, they had several choices of salads, dressings and the gamut of toppings. for the breakfast buffet they had cereals, oatmeals, fresh fruit, granola and the gamut of breakfast items. in their hot food section, they had sausages, bacon, eggs, hash brown and pancakes! it’s a pretty good choice when staying at the hotel — and it’s cheaper than ordering the same food for room service. the waiters were really friendly.
