Fast service and good coffee. Close to campus if you’re looking for a good study spot. Only problem is the seating is limited so make sure to keep that in mind.

This place is convenient to my office but it is by no means a legit Coffee Bean. The guys who run it are nice and friendly but they really need to get with the program-it’s a bit half assed. Serve great food and great coffee without all of the Coffee Bean branding and you’ll be busy all day long !! 3 bean salad… Really? 1975 wants it’s side order back. Individual diner style coffee creamers sitting in a warm bowl is not how you do it in 2014.

Used to come here almost every day. The panini’s are so-so, coffee is satisfactory. I give it 4 stars for service, all 3 guys who work there are very nice.

Chocolate Hazelnut Ice Blend was good. Busy place but we found one table outside(only because it was like 9pm…). The guy putting the drinks on the counter for pickup kinda shout-mumbled the drink names(or my ears are unable to distinguish different sound wave frequencies to make out coherent words. Really, could be me!) so I had to keep standing there to stare at every drink put on the counter so I wouldn’t miss mine. A tad too crowded for me.

As a Bruin that lives in South of Wilshire and frequently needs to take the shuttle to campus, this location is really good if you want something on the way back. This is located on the first floor of a really big company tower(not really sure what kind of building it is). Anyways, this place is great. Serves coffee. Also has a selection of various sandwiches, salad, etc etc. Bottom line, this place has what you need and crave for. I went here twice. My first experience was ordering their coffee. Tasted the same as you would order from any other Coffee Bean place. My second experience was ordering one of their deli sandwich. I ordered their salami with everything in it. Not that expensive I guess … around $ 7. Anyhow, both my experiences, it was the same guy helping me. He was really friendly. I also go around late afternoon(4pm ish) which is when no one is around. I figure it would be chaos around lunch time. In conclusion: This place is well worth to go. You don’t have to push around and awit couple of minutes to order. It is conveniently located near the Wilshire Center shuttle stop. I’d come here again if I needed a quick coffee fix. ***I’m surprised I never see that many people go here.

Wonderful people. I accidentally dropped my phone on the sidewalk outside their store and they held it for me until I came back for it.

I believe that this location used to be a place called«Sister’s Café», but is now a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf location. It’s located at the southwest corner of the base level of a high-rise called«The Tower». Anyway, this spot is kind of wack compared to the other Coffee Bean locations. They have the coffee out where you serve yourself, unlike most Coffee Beans, but the coffee is extremely weak and watery– tasting. It tastes like the instant coffee from 7 – 11. I tried it a couple of times(I got the«dark» brew each time) just in case it happened to be a bad batch the previous time, but the coffee was the same watery brew(That is, if you even want to call it a «brew») each time. To add insult to injury, unlike the other Coffee Bean locations in Westwood, they actually tack on extra for tax here. At all the other locations they charge a straight $ 1.70 for a small cup, but this location adds on tax to make it $ 1.84, for some odd reason. The«baristas» here are two older, middle aged guys, not the typical college-aged workers at every other Coffee Bean location. Judging by the appearance of these guys(in street clothes, no apron or Coffee Bean shirt or anything), I’m guessing they are the owners. Whoever these guys are, they need to get some coffee brewing training and get in line with the practices of the other Coffee Bean locations and stop charging extra tax. So yeah, I’ll definitely skip this spot and head to one of the several nearby«real» Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf locations from now on.(The next closest one is at Gayley and Weyburn, a few blocks to the north).
