One of the most beautifully spaces in the heart of DTLA. I’ve been fortunate to attend more than a few events here and have seen this place transform from a music showcase to a wedding to a local game night. :)

best. place. ever. first of all if you’re googling the location it will lead you to the front of the building… swing around back and you’ll find an alley way with beautiful art on the walls with a door in the middle. you’ve now found the great company. there is multiple parking spots in that alley way and if they’re full theres PLENTY of street parking for free! yes, for free! every visit I’ve had here was easy because of parking. walk in and immediately the building gets you inspired to work and create something amazing. there is a great group of people that work here so if you want to host an event come talk to them! the space is quiet large with brick walls and wooden floors. lots of history here. great for: weddings, music video shoots, photo shoots, recording music(really nice studio set up inside), performances, event gatherings, renting space to work, etc. they also often host many different events and gatherings for those in the community such as game nights, comedy shows, music meet ups, etc. so follow their Facebook page for more info!

The Great Company is a hidden gem in the Arts District. It lives up to its name every time… It’s GREAT for corporate events, parties and photoshoots/video shoots. I also know that One Direction(yes, One Direction) shot their first 2016 music video in the space. The wood floor and brick walls add a warm touch to every occasion. Def recommend it!

The space and atmosphere is great, they are very accommodating and beyond helpful when you use this venue. I had the opportunity to have an event here where I had 200 guests, people who came could not stop complimenting how wonderful and unique the space was and asked how I found it. I was able to use the stage for a band, had ample sitting areas and space for a full spread of food and drinks. I would use this venue again if I could.

Been to the great company for several events. Went to a friend’s 80’s themed birthday party. The space was GREAT! There was a live band, and 2 hosted bars. It was a lot of fun and I hope to attend another event soon. Staff was really supportive and fun to interact with. And the space is so fun, hip, and cool. I’ve seen pictures of weddings being held here. And it’s unique and lovely. Definitely a winner!

I went here for a brief second to see a friend perform his songs. At first, I thought I was lost because the gps took me to some danky abandoned section of downtown with graffiti all over the walls. I was sure i was going to get murdered as soon as I exit my vehicle, but luckily a random stranger who loomed out of a dark corner, pointed out the right door. The inside was extremely hipster but nice. The stage was small but cozy. Overall, I liked this place. Definitely coming back.

All I have to say is steam punk-DTLA-loft vibe? Yes please. Probably one of the dopest venues in town. They have performances and also functions as a co-op work space.

Here for a wedding. Inside is very nice. Minus the very poor AC they have. Places was dead hot. Everyone was sweating. Typical dtla. Poor parking, difficult to find. Overall this AC problem is increasing the frustration to not like the place as much as I wouldve.

I’ve been the SEED Center many time for events(concerts, parties, conferences) and it has an incredible creative energy and stylish vibe that can be adapted for any type of event. There are a lot of distinct spaces that could be used for different purposes, and the design team knocked it out of the park in making a great combination of industrial modern meets warm and inviting social space. Would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a hidden gem«in the know» event location in the Arts District. Your guests will be blown away when they walk through the doors and find this oasis in the middle of the warehouses. A great find!

Welcome, friends, to my second home. I’m here. All the time. Ask about renting out their space for parties, events, weddings, films, movies, music videos and so much more. This is literally a spot where if you’re dreaming it, it can be made and done. What you’ll find: 1. It’s unique — there’s vision all over the place. From the exposed brick, steam-punk and vintage inspired décor/furniture, graffiti’d exterior, original 1920’s wood floors. The space oozes inspiration. 2. It’s versatile — since they’re all about stewarding creatives, people have used the space for photo & film shoots, music video shoots, interviews, music performances, fashion launches, pop up dinners, corporate retreats and so much more. It’s been dope meeting all the different people that have come through this place. 3. There’s a recording studio — yes, inside. Yes, it’s legit. ‘Nuff said. See you soon: recording artists, VO artists, legends. 4. Parking — plentiful, easy. 5. Feels like family — the stewards here are all about building community and relationships. So that means everyone I know and have talked to here are all about being supportive, whatever your dreams and projects are.

What a great location! Housed in a former storage unit for toys, The SEED Center has this really great feel, something I would liken to a Steam Punk feel. Lots of copper and wood in this place. The place is large and has a full kitchen so it’s a great place for meetings, creative gatherings, parties, and anything else you may need. Also, the owners and those who run the place are really good and trusthworthy people, so they’ll definitely people you’ll enjoy doing business with.

The SEED Center exudes creativity and warmth. This is the where ideas come to life, friendships and collaborations are born and where one can feel inspired. GREAT venue for meetings, retreats, parties, live shows, etc. The staff is amazing and there’s plenty of parking.

A laboratory, a place, a home. This is the best venue space for all. The design is spot on and feels so welcoming. GBS is held on sundays and many other days they host events and utilize the space for so many different things. I love the design of the venue, its very vintage. Lots of things built from the golden era. It’s like a blast from the past.

This place is great! It’s hard to tell that it would be so awesome inside from the outside. It’s definitely a hidden gem and a great place to host any event that you need from non profit meetings to music events. It definitely has the LA/NY feel to it where people can channel their creative selves in an open and comfortable environment. The décor on the outside and inside is great! Definitely wish there were more places like this in LA!

This place is such a hidden gem. I’ve been here a few times for events/concerts/dinners and I’ve been wow’ed every time by the versatility of this space. I am in marketing myself so I am always checking out great places to host events. The SEED Center definitely tops my list of cool event spaces for this side of the town. A little hard to find, but you won’t regret checking it out once you are there. Ample parking too!

This place is huge, cozy, and eccentric. The perfect place for an event. They’ve got a ton of cool gear/furniture inside, from custom lights, to a huge elevator shaft. Oh, and the people who work there are awesome.

SEED Center really is a place made by creatives for creatives. Anyone who’s looked around for a co-working space will be hard pressed to find a place more versatile than this one. They offer: a co-working space, performance area, rentable event space, and even have a full-function recording studio. Is there another place like it? I think not. Anyone looking for a one-stop shop for all their creatives needs should look no further!

The spot!!! Always ice cold sodas on deck thanks to their Pepsi sponsorship, always something going on. Plenty of work space, comfortable couches, interesting conversations. Large food preparation area and I’ve used it for video shoots and events — they’re open to a wide variety of uses for the space. Friendly staff(the«Stewards» of the location) and great ambiance. One of the best designed spaces in LA, hands down.
