I am over 40 and am very skeptical in taking a long board lesson. I have followed many, many Youtube videos but still cannot long board. Gather enough courage to call Corey and arrange a lesson and that was a decision I will never regret. Corey made me feel very comfortable and skate along me for an hour. He can turn for me by stepping on my board when I did not turn enough and hold me when I start to lose balance. It was really fun, but the most important thing is I try to practice the next day and I found myself long boarding! I cannot believe it. Give it a shot! :)

Corey is punctual, professional, and great with kids! He was very easy to schedule with and it was a smooth and enjoyable process beginning to end.
He can go as beginner or advanced as you need. He is very knowledgeable about his craft and communicates and demonstrates so that the kids can understand his instruction.
Would highly recommend his services and will definitely be using him again – probably going to purchase the six pack of lessons to get a discount, because he is well worth it!

Corey was a rock star. He was the main event for my sons 6 year old birthday party in Santa Monica. He had 40+ kids excited about surfing and boogie boarding. He has the patience of a Saint. We are going to start taking private lessons from him.

Corey is an excellent teacher and a true believer of Fun! Im in my late 20’s very tall 6’4″ and large over 200 lbs. Corey had no problem with a wetsuit for me or a great board. Not only that but Corey could control the situation and let me get the best chance of catching a wave. I would recommend Corey to anyone who is willing to get wet and wants to try surfing. He knows his stuff, he’s the real deal, and most of all he’s Fun!!! Corey has the knowledge and longevity of a true «California Surfer.» He knew all the great surf beaches in Malibu and took me to an awesome, quiet beach with some great waves– he was even able to reccommend a GREAT inexpensive seafood lunch right on the coast. If you can try a lesson with Corey!

My son is now 13 and has «shredded» with Corey since he was prob 5 or 6?. Not only is Corey an excellent teacher but he is an outstanding role model. I consider Corey a trusted member of the family and We would do anything for him (this from a very cautious, diligent to protect mother)
Corey will ONLY contribute positive and goodness to the experience. In addition to the skating, we have entrusted Corey to take our son up to Mtn High for the day for a full day lesson of snowboarding .invaluable !!! Call for reference anytime
