This place was awesome, the sound was great and the band’s they host, even better. I went into the vip lounge and it was comfortable, with 2 bars to accommodate their selection. At the end of amon amarth, Mike and Oscar were able to hook me up with the set list off the stage which Johan had. I can’t wait to come back!

The Wiltern is another beautiful Art Deco venue like The Fox. You can tell that it has had a storied life not only from the architecture, but from all the artists that have played there — some of the most famous are displayed along the walls. Because it is in K-Town, it is in close proximity to a bunch of bars and nightlife stuff so you can enjoy yourself before a show. Of course, parking is always an issue. There was a $ 20 lot right next to it(haha no thanks), but we managed to find slightly sketchy street parking a few blocks away. I’ve been in both the pit and the nosebleeds, and I have to say that acoustics sound wonderful either way. If you are a huge fan, of course go for the pit. However, the mezzanine seats are set up in a way that you still can see the stage perfectly from wherever you are. If you don’t necessarily need to see facial features, this is a good cheaper option. Apparently you can also purchase tickets without a service fee at the Palladium!

The Wiltern is magnificent. The architecture in this place is simply stunning and the theater is a great size! I went here to see a concert with my boyfriend and the line wasn’t too bad. We got in quickly and were greeted by extremely friendly people. The food was a bit overpriced and took a while to come out but we didn’t mind. They gave us wristbands for drinks and we we were delighted to roam around. They also had a great bar.

I have see two shows here, one where I was on the ground floor, right up near the stage. This was great, I got to dance with my friends and the sound was great. Easy admittance, a completely gorgeous theater, looks like a 19th century opera house. multiple bar stations though drinks are pricey the second show I saw here I was seated and pretty far back and the acoustics were terrible. It was more just vibrating than hearing the concert. I’d return only for floor level standing tickets

I’ve been to the Wiltern for a couple shows now. I really like the venue. It provides a more intimate setting for audience and artist. I got the floor tickets both times and yes you are standing, but you’re also given the opportunity to see the color of Mayer Hawthorne’s eyes or the sole of his shoes all up close and personal haha. Plus who doesn’t like to dance at a show. The bars are easily accessible and never overly crowded. You can always find space away from the crowd if you please, still not being too far away from the stage. The sound system was fine. My friend happened to lose her phone at the event and but the venue kept it safe for her. It is a little more difficult to retrieve lost items cause they’re not always opened but she emailed and called them and was able to get her phone back the following day.

Great music Venue located in the heart of Korea Town. The architecture definetly stands out with an old school vibe. The inside is very elegant with multiple floors. The food and drinks inside are overpriced, just like in any other concert or venue, but the experience was well worth it. I came to see Third Eye Blind on 04⁄09. Im not a big fan, but we came with friends so it was a fun experience. The venue has a parking structure which contains lots of parking. Its cost $ 20, kinda expensive but that’s LA. The line to get in is long but moves quickly. Security will make you go through a metal detector before entering the theater. When you step foot inside the theater everything is elegant, and they have lots stuff going on inside. ALT98.7 was there and we won a free shirt and a CD. Pretty cool. The venue itself is pretty large and contains a pretty good view, regardless of the seats. The only thing I dislike is people standing during the performances. Some people make it hard to see and enjoy the performers when they stand throughout the entire time. Overall, great location for a theater. Parking and traffic suck, but that’s Los Angeles. The venue is one of my favorites, so i highly recommend people come here to watch their favorite performers.

If you are going to a show at the Wiltern you are in for a real treat. The theater is absolutely gorgeous! People back in the 1930s really knew what they were doing when it came to architecture and interior design. First, the wait outside is ok. If you have to pee you can go into the Denny’s right next door. The staff there doesn’t seem to mind letting people use their restrooms. If you do not have reserved balcony seats… I recommend getting there with at least 2 hours before doors open. Once the doors open you have go thru security and then you can go inside. The loge seating is my favorite because you do not have to worry about getting there early and you do not have to watch people walk around. The seats themselves are a bit uncomfortable. They are old. Not much fluff to them anymore. The stage lights are vibrant! They are blinding sometimes. The sound quailty is great! I have sat in these seats: Loge, row CC, seat 103 and Mezz, row A, seat 1. That specific Mezz seat is weird. You have this weird gate thing that sits between your legs. If you are short sit in seat 3, otherwise you will be grinding on a railing. Luckily for me… I am tall so it wasn’t touching my private parts. Haha! The bathroom situation sucks, if you’re a girl. Only three stalls in the upstairs bathroom. If you can wait then wait until you are home. Do NOT buy any food while you are there. It is so over-priced for what you get. I bought a slice of pizza and it was hard as a rock. I was beyond starving so I ate the whole slice. I regret eating it. Overall, I recommend this venue to anyone. The Wiltern is a great place to see your favorite bands! Not a bad seat in the house!

This place is pretty spacious. My boyfriend got us tickets to see We Are Galantis as a Christmas gift. BESTCHRISTMASGIFT! We planned on meeting up with my 3 cousins who got balcony, when my boyfriend and I had floor. I don’t think it mattered on what tickets you got, they were able to stand with us down at the bottom. All they did was scan your ticket and let you in. Oh, no smoking! Ha.

Best Night Ever! Recently attended the sold out Adele concert and I have to say that it was the most amazing night ever. I went to the venue hoping I would score tickets since I didn’t have an opportunity to buy them on-line. The venue was great and of course Adele was AWESOME. I have to hand it to the security people, they really did a great job of controlling things inside the venue and out. Special shout out to Mike, he was so helpful. No doubt a night I’ll always remember. Thank you.

Came here to see Glass Animals(love them) and they put on an amazing show. LA Priest opened for them and was also a great performer, I liked his chill vibe. The venue was easily accessible with just a short walk from the nearby parking lot and the ticket checking process went by very quickly. There were several bars inside without a wait for a good drink. The bathrooms, however, had the longest wait. About 15 minutes which I think could be helped if they had a few more stalls(very small restrooms). Other than that, the inside was beautiful and had pretty good acoustics which made for a great show. The GA standing area was very packed and I was glad we bought seats up on the balcony. Still a great view and people still got up to dance every once in a while! :)

The Wiltern is a great historic venue at the corner of Wilshire and Western in Koreatown. The architecture is beautiful and I love the intimate vibe that the theater gives. The Metro Purple Line is right across the street, a great alternative to driving here and paying for $ 20 parking. There are two floors plus a basement for the restrooms. Plenty of bar areas to get your drink on. I was one of the few lucky fans that got to see Adele perform here last Friday. There was a pit section, the general admission section, lodge sections and the mezzanine. I was in the pit section and it was absolutely amazing! There were enough space for me to move so I didn’t feel like I was squished like a can of sardines. It was a bit hard to hear Adele talk or sing though. I’m assuming it’s because the pit section is so close to the front, while the speakers are all the way to the back or it may be the acoustics of the building. I don’t know haha Pit and general admission were standing only. I feel like the general admission area is not worth it unless you’re towards the front. Lodge and mezzanine are seating only and on a slight angle so that helps if someone tall is in front of you. Being in the pit section and watching Adele perform here was seriously one of the best nights of my life! Can’t wait to see her again in August at Staples Center :) FYI, no backpacks are allowed in the venue.

A fantastic venue! There are a surplus of bars once you get inside and no matter the hour, I never had to wait any longer than a minute for a drink. The cost of a drink inside averaged about $ 9. The venue itself is very clean, spacious, and the sound is amazing! The staff is super friendly and I overheard one of the bartenders informing a couple that there were unclaimed table seats that no one knew about. The bathrooms are a little far from the stage but very clean and easy to get to. I don’t think everyone will perform like«Adele», however, I don’t think there is bad seat in the room. A Very intimate venue. If you find yourself bored, just glance up at the ceiling and enjoy the beautiful artwork and architecture.

In the heart of LA, near Korea Town is this theater. It looks a little vintage walking up to it, and well it had those vintage aspects once in it.(not saying it’s a bad thing, I love vintage architect) It was very big and spacious once inside, and plenty of bars on every floor. The boyfriend took me here for a movie event. We sat up on the second floor in the balcony section, and watched the movie on the big screen. Well worth it, we definitely want to come back for future events and shows.

Went to see Bryson Tiller perform here!!! His concert was, of course, amazing. But let’s speak of the venue. There’s a lot of GA down stairs, standing, and a few bars. One of the bars I saw had a new kind of way to fill up your draft beer. A plastic cup that has a covered hole at the bottom is placed on the well, a button is pushed and it begins to fill the cup from the bottom!!!

Came here to see STS9 I like the layout of this venue. You can see the stage from just about anywhere. Personally I think the pit is the best spot. It sounds like it will be too crowded and not enjoyable, but there is actually more room down there. Also when the bass kicks, you can feel it vibrate through the floor. Unless the show you are seeing is selling tickets for the pit, be sure to get there early so you can get a wristband. The pit is first-come, first-serve. Bottom line: would definitely come here again

Probably one of my favorite venues in Los Angeles and I’m very jealous that this isn’t in San Diego. I’ve seen three shows at the Wiltern: Mika, Brandon Flowers, and most recently Elton John’s very intimate show last week. Let me start off by saying that the inside of the theater is gorgeous! The high ceilings are so beautiful and they can be appreciated more when the venue is empty. The amount of detail in the theater is really nice and definitely unique. Now as for concerts go, I’ve always enjoyed driving up to see a show here. The sound is fantastic and the layout is also very nice. I like that the different GA levels are slightly raised so if you’re not in the pit, you’re still able to see the stage rather well. Even when I didn’t make it in time to line up to see Brandon Flowers, I still got a pretty good view of him. The GA pit itself is pretty nice too. The stage is raised but not too much that it’ll hurt your neck from looking up all night. It’s also very roomy and there’s a few ways to get in and out which is always appreciated. The worst part about The Wiltern definitely has to be the parking but if you head there in time you might be able to score free street parking behind the theater. There’s a few 10 hour street parking spots and others that will allow you to stay parked since the parking rules are only valid until 6PM. Don’t park in the Ralph’s parking lot! It’s crazy expensive and you’ll find cheaper parking down Wilshire Blvd.

Cool, chill place. I saw joe rogan here on nye. We sat somewhere high but we can see everything. The crowd was about people from 20 – 40 year olds(lots of hipsters) ready to party here. Just depends on the event I guess. Small, intimate venue with a bar and food like pretzels, pizza popcorn, etc. Speedy entry with metal detectors. I got my pepper spray taken away! Parking in the Ralph structure is $ 20 event parking. Pay cash or card($ 1 transaction fee). Anyways, glad I got from check this place out, finally! I’ve been living in LA my whole life too!

My review is from December 19th, 2015 Miley Cyrus and her dead petz concert Danielle(D) this review is for you!!! You provided the most excellent customer service to me and my 3 sisters. After standing in the rain for hours, you helped us get excited to see one of our favorite performers as well as give clear directions to where we should go/do first(VIP tix, drinks/bathroom, merchandise during the opening acts) thanks to you(seriously fucking thank you so much) we had such a great time. From the four of us sassy sisters, we hope to see you the next time we visit the venue! More about the venue: The building is beautiful, and historic, the bathrooms are clean and easy to find. Lots of bar and food options, pricey drinks but strong and yummy! Everyone I spoke to was friendly and helpful, but Danielle went Above and Beyond for my group.

The Wiltern is a nice place for a show. The venue is large and can accommodate a larger, popular band but is small enough to feel intimate. It is all standing room so if you are short or are worried about that you should probably try to arrive early and stand in the very front or in the back behind the rail on the higher-ish level. The location is good, right in the middle of LA and within easy walking distance of many hotels. The venue is pretty clean considering the age and they have limited but decent food and drink options. The sound quality is average.

Came here to watch the Foals last night. The venue definitely has a historic feel. I love it! Very casual crowd, easy access to drinks(though pricey), 3 stall bathroom upstairs and a good view from all angles inside. We sat on the mezzanine and sound and view was awesome. My only gripe and one of the reasons for leaving early even before the Foals came on was the cigarette smoking going on in the mezzanine area. I would expect this in a big open arena, but not inside this theatre. I was disappointed that they allow this.

The Wiltern is a great historic venue for all types of concerts, plays and of course stand up comedy. This place is located right in the heart of Koreatown and hasn’t really undergone significant renovation because the character is still alive and well. Went here recently to catch a stand up gig and the staff was fairly courteous and theater was pretty clean as well as organized. This particular theater lacks modern amenities, has decent alcohol choices but doesn’t really have a great food selection. Overall, this venue has some good acts, just make sure you come on a full stomach and enjoy the show! Pros– Historic Great acts Alcohol Courteous staff Decent sound system Cons– Outdated Bathrooms downstairs Chairs are below average Food options

Groupon tickets to Collective Soul, and we had a blast. The crowd was into it and the band was clearly having an equally fabulous time. The venue was great… spacious, clean, no bad vantage point in the joint. Bathrooms were clean and sufficiently sized to prevent much of a wait. I understand it underwent renovation, but whatever they did it retains its historic charm. My only complaint was the drink prices, but a captive audience is usually successive to this torture regardless of venue.

500000000 stars for Years and Years who I saw here — 4999997 stars for losing electricity midway through the show Like I said, I saw years and years here and they were AMAZING. I got loge seats and they were perfect! GA seemed a little too crowded and there are different tiers in the GA area, so I’d suggest either going super early or being prepared to only see the back of the person’s head in front of you if you’re short. Other than the loss of electricity midway through the show, I really liked the venue and the acoustics were pretty good! Just thought that the whole electricity thing was a biggggg buzz kill. At least they fixed it pretty quickly.

LA has a lot of great venues: El Rey, Troubadour, The Fonda, The Orpheum The OK list: House of Blues, Greek Theatre, Hotel Café, Walt Disney Concert Hall, The Echo /Echoplex The Worst: Staples Center, The Forum, Dodger Stadium, Hollywood Bowl. Basically anything with TVs and tons of seats. The Wiltern is amongst the best! It’s a small theater so sound carries well and actually sounds like the performer rather than a fake imitation made by high-tech mics and speakers. At around 1800 «seating» capacity, every«seat» has a great view of the stage. There’s the mezzanine on the second level which is at enough of a slant that no one in front will block your view(this is the only option with seats unless a non-concert event in which they’ll add seats to the bottom level). For your standing room only options, there’s the floor aka the pit, which is my favorite option because the stage is about 5 feet off the ground so its ideal to be up close and personal no matter how far back on the floor you actually are. Lastly, there’s the more elevated option right behind the pit that is also the largest and most roomy option. Accessibility — Ktown is small and congested with difficult freeway access. Landlocked between Beverly Hills /WeHo to the west, Hollywood to the north and downtown to the east, there is no quick and convenient way to get here from afar. LA traffic is terrible. Plan ahead and give yourself plenty of time. Parking — Can get expensive if you park at the venue($ 20 I think?) but there is free street parking on Wilshire if you show up early enough. Lyft/Über are also highly recommended to save yourself the hassle. PROTIP: Don’t enter the raffle through the digital monitors that are set up on the main floor in the lobby unless you want people calling you the day after with«free tickets» to some exotic vacation you mysteriously won. There was no raffle during the concert.

I went to see Years & Years perform here and they were amazing. I’m so glad I got the opportunity to see them live in LA. Olly said, «This is the largest show we’ve done in LA.» and he also said«How the f*ck did you hear about us?» which was super endearing! PROS: I love that they’ve maintained the art deco design of this building. Seats appear to be original to the theater and are perfectly fine. You are seated close to the adjacent guest, but it’s really not a huge issue. It’s a smaller, more intimate venue so you can get a decent view even in the mezzanine section where I sat. CONS: It can get a bit uncomfortably stuffy when there’s a lot of people. Smoke does waft up to the upper levels and it can be nauseating for some. Prices for drinks are really outrageous, best to pre-game or just feed off the vibe of the music :). Example: my single, tiny, ketel one cranberry was $ 14. Good venue!

I recently saw Amy Schumer here and can’t believe it was my first time! I’d LOVE to see a concert here as the acoustics were amazing and anywhere you sit in the audience, you have a decent view. Thankfully, because we were at the very top! The Wiltern is located in Mid-City/K-Town so there’s plenty of amazing KBBQ options for before and after the show! When you walk in, it looks like an old theater house with high ceilings. There’s two levels so it’s not a crazy big venue which is nice. The bar makes the drinks pretty strong but you upgrade for a couple of bucks and make it a double shot ;) Heads up! There are limited bathroom options and they lines are always insane. Both the guys/gals rooms had at least a 15 minute way whenever we checked out the line. Had a great time! :)

This has made it to the top of the list for concert venues in my book! I usually love concerts but always dread the parking madness that comes with it. My friend and I went here for a concert last week and didn’t have that problem at all. If you’re willing to drive around the neighborhoods a bit, there’s street parking as well as meters that shut off after 6 pm. The venue itself is very cozy and intimate. Every seat gives a great view. Also don’t be intimidated by the crazy line that wraps around the venue before the concert. It looks crazy but really isn’t too bad!
