SITREP
…at least, that’s what it totally feels like. WARLOK is a musical-​dancing experience that takes place in the bedazzling venue The Monte Cristo in L.A.‘s Koreatown, complete with ballroom dance floor, and chandeliers, and awesome fun laser light displays.
THE SETUP
We all «join in the chant» with Warlok’s resident sonic alchemist, Xian Vox of renown events, such as Malediction Society, Ruin Hollywood, Disko. Nekro, Otherside, and Mode: M.
And here in the ballroom of The Monte Cristo, Xian Vox mixes the ritual noise of Darkwave * Industrial * Witch House * Synth * and Techno all together with such finesse & seamless wizardry.
THE MUSIC
Luminous bands & artists, such as Cystal Castles, Pictureplanes, Trust, etc., fill the musical voids with their aural magic.
And whenever I hear Covenant, I always exclaim a quiet victory for one of my favorite bands.
VISUAL TALENTS
The visuals splashed across the screens for us to see are also wonderful to sink your eyes into and luminesce as an optical backdrop brought by those talented minions of Cult Visuals.
