Reasonably priced place, easy parking, and comfortable bar feel. They have a pool table inside and ping pong out back. There are a few booths in addition to the bar seating. Good place to come with friends to just hang out and unwind.

Stood at the bar with two of my friends for 10 minutes while the bartender had a long conversation with the woman next to us and then ignored us. There’s plenty of bars with happy hours around here, don’t waste your time at this one with horrible service.

Cool place in a still sketchy area of downtown LA, but at least you’ll be surrounded by all the other hipster people walking around now.

Finally, a bar that is worth of the likes of bars like The Varnish, The Golden Gopher and The Continental in Downtown Fullerton. Tony’s is a legit bar: great drinks, billiards, darts, foozeball and ping pong. Great Digital jukebox and cool bartender. Came by on a Tuesday night and it was mellow. Ordered up an Old Fashioned and a Whiskey Sour for a buddy of mine. Both were served prohibition style. Classic! The bar had booths, and a large back patio with great lights. The place shares a wall with Pizzanista, so you can get eats at the bar. I’ll definitely be back.

This song is about a super hero named Tony, it’s called Tony’s theme. Stars in:“The League” as a neighborhood bar. «Sons of Anarchy» as an Irish Pub. «The MonsterTaco Story» as the local bar. Rumor has it if you tip and linger around long enough a very special fowl named the«dirty bird» will make an appearance. Be patient when this place is cray cray and don’t order a fucking mixology drink if you can already tell the bartender is slammed, seriously people get a fucking clue. No I don’t work there.

I enjoy this spot. Decent service. Dark lighting(always good ;). Their mixed drinks are delicious. Cool outdoor patio with darts and a ping pong table. Pool table and jukebox inside. Best part about this place? You can order insanely good pizza from Pizzanista(next door) and bring/eat it here. Score!

This place is special. I live in Santa Monica and drive to this place at least three times after work on the weekends to chill with a drink, chat with nice down to earth and interesting people and play rounds of pool or have a smoke in their lit yard in the back. Awesome place.

We stumbled into Tony’s Saloon on a whim(ok I really needed to use a bathroom) and I’m glad we did! The backyard patio is charming. String lights, foosball, ping pong, and a chill crowd. Although it’s a pretty casual bar, we noticed that everyone was looking cute in all black. Us too. lol just our kind of place. Maybe that’s just the arts district. The inside is more moody with darker lighting, booths for seating, a pool table, and karaōke. We got a $ 1 off our first beer first thing when we walked in – score. By the way, the bathrooms are clean too!

This is a solid spot. Great bartender(s). But definitely NOT a dive bar. Dive bars don’t charge for $ 12 drinks… beers are moderately priced. A dive bar has a better deal on happy hours. So… this review is obviously being a stickler for this place being called a «dive bar», otherwise, it’s a great establishment.

Went yesterday with my friend the atmosphere is really chill, the music is great, the décor is really nice. They have outside patio and a pool table inside. I rate it 3 stars because although there wasnt many people and despite I was sitting right in front of the bartender it took ages to get her attention to get another drink. I would go back next time I’ll take a flag to get her attention.

Tony’s is a very cool neighborhood bar by the 213 bar group. That means you can expect honest, well-made cocktails, animal heads on the wall, a pool table, and a fun crowd. You can find street parking if you’re patient. Maybe because of the out-of-the-way location, drinks are cheaper than you’ll find in downtown proper and the pours are heavier. Did I mention… they have ping-pong! So much fun :)

I’ve been making an effort not to drink these past several months, but I found myself at Tony’s Saloon for a birthday. I was conflicted on whether or not I was gonna have my first drink in a while. I was ready to give in depending on whether they would make one of my favorite but not commonly available drinks(classic daiquiri or a mojito). The bearded gentleman with the tattoos had no problem making me a classic daiquiri(something most bartenders tend to screw up or not know how to make). The drinks were made perfectly. My only complaint and reason for docking a star was the poor service. Yes, it was a busy Saturday night. No, you didn’t need to put off taking my order. They seemed understaffed, 2 bartenders running around. I’m pretty sure the bartender took note that I was there before the few people whose drinks he made before mine. If you’re gonna make someone wait, why not make peoples’ drinks in order? Not sure why I had to wait so long for a drink, even the dude next to me was kind of like«hey, is he ignoring you or what?». The only reason I could think of was that he wanted to make drinks for people who were ordering for groups to get them out of the way? Not sure otherwise. I was actually tempted to tip 50% on the drinks but figured I felt I’d be overdoing that for the service I received.

I got into a little more about Tony’s in my review for Pizzanista! It’s such a cool bar that it overshadows pizza ferchrissake. I didn’t write much about it before, because I only had cider and shots, and I like to have a few visits to form an opinion. Having gone back and tried the Rehearsal Space, which I think I had at the Golden Gopher as a bartender’s choice, I’ll say they make good drinks. They have fantastic bartenders.

Stopped by for a nightcap before heading home. The drinks are poured with a heavy hand, that’s always nice. We didn’t eat at pizzanista next door because we where jammed from Sotto’s. Had a few drinks, played some pool and had an entertaining night.

Great space, out door patio with a bar & ping pong table! Not a long wait for drinks at the bar, not too crowded for a Saturday night either. Also great music!

A caveat… only 1 star when today’s bartender is working. All other days it’s been 5 stars here. I went to Tony’s today with some tacos in hand. Me and my buddy got to Tony’s 3 minutes before happy hour ended. We asked if happy hour was still going on and the barkeep said no. I show him my phone which says 7:58, then he grumpily tells us what we want and how we’re going to pay and tells us to do it now. I tell him I want a Peroni, my friend pays with his card and because he feels bad about the whole situation, he tips him pretty generously for a 4 dollar happy hour drink. My friend goes to Pizzanista to get a drink and I’m waiting at the bar for my drink. And waiting. And waiting. And waiting. The bartender serves 6 – 7 people after my friend already paid for the drink before I ask him where my Peroni was. Then without an apology or even a remark he grabs a glass, fills my Peroni and gives it to me. I’ll go back to Tony’s because it’s a great place and I’ve never had any trouble there until today. I’ll turn around from Tony’s everytime I see that bartender and you guys should too.

One of the only places in LA that I’ve been too that makes a legit Greyhound with fresh squeezed grapefruits instead of gross store bought juice. This alone keeps me coming back. Not too mention their drinks are reasonably priced. Bartenders are always super friendly and observant. Never crazy busy so you can usually always find a seat. Plus, play a game of pool or ping-pong. Always clean inside the bar and so are the bathrooms. I think on Sunday nights they BBQ outside so you can grab a burger!

Good place to come after work to enjoy happy hour. But tonight I was in the mood for a old fasion –i had 3. Tim whipped it up nicely. Played a few games of table tennis with the peeps. Pool table open but no one was on it. Maybe if it was a fri or sat I would have jumped on it. Parking is a little tedious but overall vibes are cool. Bring a lot of quarters.
