I have been going to Trel’sl for years and the worst I can say is that I wish I could afford to go every week.

The location is convenient. Nothing else good to say. As a new resident of LA I’m looking for a salon where I can go and refer others. This is not the place.

This salon is horrible. The inside is disgusting towels on the floor, air vents full of dust, hair all over the floor, cracks of walls full of dirt and hair. The hair dresser Trell has a really bad attitude he is rude and crazy. Really bad customer service. He acts like he is Hollywood and he isn’t close. He tried to over price me and wanted me to pay him 200 dollars for a wash, press, and curl. When i refused he did not want to do my hair and while i was under the dryer he told me i had to reschedule so he can go do a weave. Instead of making his customers happy to keep them coming he is just worried about hiself. He wants to book your appointments depending on how much your going to pay him. If your not going to pay him 200 or more he doesn’t want to do your hair. I don’t care if he is charging 250 for weaves with the hair it isn’t worth it if your not going to be treated with respect like a paying customer should.

I as everyone else in L. A heard about Trell Hair and his commercials — so of course that was a no brainier based on radio commercials– I know I’m in good hands. First let say, Trell Is a gem, he is communicative and great person to know. I was a first time client, so I wont go inch by inch of my whole experience. Bottom line is this. I purchase the $ 250 weave special — The finish product was very very thin .I wouldn’t even wear it in a ponytail because it did not look or feel like 8 ounces of hair.
The closure was less desirable, it wasn’t flat, I went back to see if we could fix it, trell said its because I kept touching it, and it was more noticeable because I was holding down my head…(pondering). okay, I was polite from beginning to end and said okay thank you and left. At the end of the day, I wasn’t happy with my finish product or the resolution of my issue. I didn’t feel at ease. Everyone experience will be different, it is what it is. I am not a picky person, but I would like to be happy and satisfied at the end of the day, he was paid, and I wasn’t happy. with my overall experience, so moving on.

I have been going to Trell Hair for almost 2 years. I am in love with my weave. Trell makes you feel at home. Thank you Trell.

I saw a friends hair it looked Great, I asked her who does her hair she told me Trell Hair. After that it was like a car you’ve never seen before then you want it&you start to see it every where. I started hearing his radio ad all the time on KJLH, I couldn’t believe his weave special $ 250 including the hair. Most salons say this and the hair that is included is very low quality, but not Trell’s hair. He uses Top quality hair, I’ve never received Soo many compliments on my hair. Trell is a True PROFESSIONAL STYLIST!!! I’ve been to many shops and I have to sit allday because they’ve over booked, they are late,&they use cheap products. TRUST ME TRELL IS NONE OF THESE:-) Either he or his assistant are Always there before me I Love 6am appts so I can still have the rest of my day and I’m. Always out because I’m his only 6am appt. He understands the value of ladies time. I’m a working woman&on my day off don’t want to be in the shop allday. He has such a Classy salon I can still do work if I need to because he offers free WiFi, he also has healthy snacks for his clients. I’ve been going to Trell for the last 2 ½ yrs now, my hair looks Fabulous, I’m able to exercise and still look Beautiful. I also go for his Very low unkeep prices in between getting new weaves. I recently moved out of state and I’m soo upset because I don’t have my TRELL:-(ONCE YOU’VE HAD THE TRELL EXPERIENCE YOU’LL UNDERSTAND MY PAIN. I plan on flying back to see friends of course but my 1^st stop will be TRELL HAIR to get my hair done by the HAIR MASTER TRELL. Ladies if you want quality hair care done by a PROFESSIONAL YOU NEED TRELL’S HANDS IN YOUR HEAD!!! Plus he’s Pretty good Eye Candy;-) Love You Trell

I have been going Trell Hair for almost 3 years. My hair has never looked better. The price is very affordable considering I get virgin hair and a custom color and cut. As a result of the great job that Trell and his assistant Toya have done I have at least 5 friends that now get their hair done there as well for either their natural hair or a weave. I feel beautiful every time I step out of the salon and am showered with compliments from friends and strangers alike. Trell does his best to accommodate my schedule and also makes sure Darnell of Darnell Anthony Cosmetics is there to handle my lash and brows because I commute from Irvine or Pomona for my appointments. They have both also come to my home to take care of my special occasion needs (this costs extra of course but is very worth it) so that I am at my best whenever I step out. Let Trell work his magic on you.

The motto of you get what you pay for is about right for this business. Home of the $ 250 weave was too good to be true.
I should have known something was up when I couldn’t find the business on Unilocal or any other places that review businesses/​services. Will never go there again… I had a full weave done and had to go to Supercuts to get it cleaned up and wearable. Cheap hair that shedded is not about the business. Next time I will save my bottles and cans and go where I normally go and get good quality hair…
The sad part is I liked the guy… but the hair — ugh… FAIL!
