Food was just okay not bad but I’ve had better. Delivery time was great. A little pricey but good quality ingredients.

I had been wanting to try this place out since its close to my pad and went in on a Saturday around noon for lunch. Dollar tacos? Yes please. I got 2 carne tacos and a pollo asado taco. Upon delivery at my table, the ‘chef’ wandered out from the kitchen and insisted I check out his salsa bar. BAM! I got punched in the mouth with deliciousness. The thin red salsa is what I suggest if you want to get punched in the face with deliciousness too. There are a lot of weak reviews on here but I can vouch for the tacos. Only a buck on weekends. Can’t argue with that.

The carne asada tacos are probably the best thing here and for $ 1.35 it’s a good deal. It’s a hole in the wall, not much to expect for the interior, but then it’s nothing different than Benito’s.

i dig this place. el compa may have changed its fassad but its heart remains steadfast. i love the carne asada, if you like mexicans drinks then get the Horchata, this place is my top 5 in LA for authentic mexican.

Nice place. The food is priced right for the quality and setting. Not a bad place to have a quick burrito. The location is a bit seedy. I dunno. Large Thai massage place, right next to a smoke shop. Unusually full parking lot and people just loitering outside.

Nothing special. I was actually about to head down to Dino’s to pick up some chicken and fries. I should have driven right past this place. I had the«famous» jumbo wet burrito. Maybe it’s famous for being mediocre… Yes it was on the bigger side, but that was about it. As far as the parking lot is concerned… oddly full. There’s a shady looking Thai massage place that boasts a massage for $ 40/hour… also a little smoke shop or something next door, which seems to have a steady stream of people going in for… cigarettes? Just keep driving by to get to wherever you were originally planning…

Thumbs Up! I vouch the only thing that changed from this location’s previous incarnation is the location of the A and the O in the name. It’s also a little cleaner.

WORSEMENUDOEVERRRR! After a night of drinking… I was so excited to be off sunday morning and was craving a bowl of delicious menudo. Nothing better than a bowl of menudo to cure a hang over. But this place sucksss! Who makes menudo without hominy??? It was bland, not spicy, lacking hominy, and just gross. YUCK! Luckily I live close by too because their cheap to go styrofoam container broke and I almost lost it all on my carpet. BLEH.

So this morning as I’m driving to work I start thinking of what i want for breakfast. I knew I wanted a Burrito, but Carl’s Jr. would not satisfy my hunger. not this time. Once at work we all decided on a delicious chiapas burrito from Campos. I called them up and to my surprise the number was disconnected! what the beejezzes is going on!!! I refused to believe that this place that has affordable Mexican food is closed so I went to see for myself. It was there, it was open, i think even the employees were the same. Am I being punk’d? Well…turns out they changed their name! they now go by El Compa. Same great food, same low prices :) We got the sausage burrito that is soooo out of this world! I love their chips and salsa too, maybe not what I should be eating at 9:00 am, but I couldn’t resist.
