My family loves this place. A gem for downtown Los Banos.

The best drug store ever. It reminds me of the ol drug store I went to as a kid in Morgan Hill. You can drop off your prrscription and get a rootbeer flost and a bite to eat while you wait. They have the Nicest staff, Mel the pharmistice is very kind, helpful. The girls Carmen, Stella, Kara, Heather who work at the pharmacy are so sweet, very welcoming.
You can also stop by for gifts for someone or something for yourself, they have a lot of cute things from charming Nick nacks, perfumes, vases, and thee largest section of «HELLO KITTY» watches, necklaces, purses, backpacks and more…
They also do gift wrapping. Very nicely.
I wouldn’t go to any other drug store for my prescriptions just because they are thee best and they have the best customer service. They know you by name. What can I say I really enjoy this small town pharmacy. I wouldn’t change a thing. I couldn’t put the pictures that I took in my review so I put them in the top of page.

4 stars for having Hello Kitty things! 2 stars for the food because they make food that I can make at home like ham or turkey sandwich with a small bag of chips, but I guess this is oldest place in LB (a signature place) in which the community loves so I’m all for that & will support the longevity of that building & drug store. The ladies at the service counter are so sweet and nice! I will keep going to support them.

I do have to admit that this is my favorite non chain place to eat in town… the food is always great and they don’t mind that I special order everything. If you ask MaryAnne for a milk shake, you can get almost any flavor and topping and they are huge. The specials change daily but they have regular menu items too. I get their specials via their Facebook page so I know whether or not it will be worth the 30 mile drive from Merced and let me tell you, it’s always worth the drive. The staff is the friendliest around and it’s easy to find yourself there for a couple hours enjoying coffee, a paper and friendly chatter. You walk in a stranger and leave family. Oh wait, I am family… Mary Anne’s my cousin, lol… the drug store has unique gift ideas and even a discount isle now.

Friendly old-​timey place. Serves lunch. Incredible amount of hello kitty items, and some down right cute local H.S. mascot stuffed animals.

I love love love this place. The lunch counter is like a flash back to a time 30 yrs before i was born! I wld walk home from school just to get a chocolate shake and pb n j, or a fosfate. It has the prescription counter in the back and isles of basic necessities (food, toiletries, candy and meds)

Wondered into this place while in downtown Los Banos.
First impression upon walking in… Oh, they have a cute little diner couture set up, walked a little bit toward the inside and guess what I saw! A big aisle of everything hello kitty! Wow, I was impressed! Probably have more hello kitty stuff here than they do at Target or Walmart!
Anyway, the rest of the store had your typical drug store items and some small gifts and greeting cards. A cute towney place to shop if you are ever in Los Banos.

I went to Rexell’s (Los Banos Drug Co.) about an hour ago,
And I have to say the ladies who run the lunch counter are just about as friendly as they get.
I’m kind of sad I only tried a cherry phosphate because the food looked delicious!
My sister whom I went with NEVER drinks soda, and she had a vanilla phosphate, and loved it.
We had a cherry phosphate, vanilla phosphate, & a strawberry ice cream all for under $ 5 dollars!
Other than the great food and prices everyone there is practically a regular and are known by name, I see why now!
Definitely coming back again!

I love this place. Its the best bottomless cup of coffe I have ever had. I think what makes it awesome is the company. Alot of the old timers are so awesom to talk to. I love hearing the old war stories and how they fell in love with thier wives. I love the food also. The Italian wedding soup is the bomb. All the homemade food is great and its very affordable.

I mainly go to have lunch at the old fashioned lunch counter… Great food &reasonable priced (my boys love the milk shakes and the cherry Phosphates). I love the taco salad…
Store has very cute gift items and the Pharmacy still have hometowm service with delivery… Employee’s are very helpful and courteous.

Not concerned here with the sandwich counter, which in itself is reason enough to pay the Drug store a visit.
A clean old-​fashioned soda fountain, serving wholesome, homemade sandwiches, pies, milkshakes and the best lemonade. A hangout for the locals so get there early for lunch as there’s counter seating only.
I’m singing the praises of the best neighborhood dispensing chemists run by Mel.
They are by far the most efficient and friendly druggists in the city. Although having to contend with competition from several of the major chain druggists, they still maintain their fiercely loyal customer base.
It’s simple to understand why once you’ve paid them a visit. It’s simple honest customer service, something that’s become extremely rare in this day and age.
Whether it’s needing a prescription filled and dispensed quickly, professional advice regarding medication issues, or home delivery for that needy customer, Los Banos Drug is there for you.
This is one local business that’s been serving the residents of Los Banos for years and today remains a credit to our community.

You need to go here, the food is great! Homemade dessert and the best Taco Salad on Wednesdays. The tuna on oat is my favorite. They changed the recipe slightly but still good. When you walk in people stare for a second but then continue eating. If you are from Los Banos, you’re going to run into someone you know at the «Drug Store.»

Also known as Rexall, the store is pretty wimpy, yet the soda fountain bar is fantastic! Lunch is cheap and fast, and there is always a crowd, so be ready to wait a few minutes to get seats. My fav lunch– a large cherry phosphate and an egg sandwich on wheat, with lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar and a dill pickle on the side– yum! The ladies always are whipping up specials and desserts, so come hungry.
