I had a real pain in the neck (and shoulder and arm), with numbness and tingling, which caused big problems with being able to sleep, drive, use a computer, go to the dentist, etc. My range of motion in my neck was also significantly limited.
I had previously tried numerous massage sessions, chiropractic adjustments, and even acupuncture to solve this problem, the problem would only get better temporarily, only to get worse again.
After having this condition for over 6 months, I decided to seek out Karen Woodbeck at Body Dynamic, who was recommended by my podiatrist who sends his patients there for foot and ankle rehabilitation.
Karen has a great bedside manner, and really listened to the specifics of my condition before starting my first treatment. Having never gone through physical therapy before, I wasn’t sure what kind of results I could expect. After the first treatment, I found I had greater range of motion and less discomfort. Things would tend to stiffen up again between appointments, so she gave me exercises to do to help extend the results from my appointments.
I saw Karen once per week for 4 or 5 sessions, with the severity of my symptoms lessening after each appointment. By the end of my treatment with Karen, I was 90% percent back, and used her exercises and stretches to rehabilitate myself back the rest of the way.
Physical therapy isn’t always pleasant, but the results from working with Karen were fantastic.
One other thing… as we were cash pay (crappy insurance!) her fees were very reasonable.
I would highly recommend Karen to anyone who needs rehabilitative care and is willing to go through what it takes to get back the quality of life you seek.

I first met Karen after a bad fall. Knee (MCL sprain) and ankle issues. She was a wonderful healer through rehab. I have continued to Pilates classes over the last 18 months. Christine is tremendous.
Recently, our son was injured playing soccer, dislocated kneecap. After one visit with Karen, he asked as we got in the car, what is Karen’s training? I explained her schooling and background. His answer was, «no mom, she must have magical powers». Testimony from a very happy 13 year old.
