Absolutely terrible customer service at , so much so that I will never shop here again. After a problem with the shipping address, they were assured that the item had been return shipped by the USPS, yet they basically accused me of lying and would not make a replacement shipment until they charged me twice. Please note that I am a 3 year customer, purchasing about $ 750-$ 1,000 per year. Customer Service Supervisor Marilyn Leonard would not do a thing to try to assist a supposedly valued customer. Do not expect any help or loyalty from this company.

Rude customer service today. I asked a question and the woman who was a lil sick today responded with a remark as if I was bothering her and that I should know what the sale sign means. «It’s really easy!» was her response. As if I should know which one should be $ 12.99, $ 9.99, etc since they are not marked and only in sections without clear borders. She was feeling sick but that is not an excuse. So if you don’t feel good and you work in a children’s clothing store then you shouldn’t come at all. Because 1,) you’re going to get people infected 2.) you’re not going to be in the mood to give good customer service.

I was here recently buying clothes for my now 6 month old grandson Ian. There was a sale going on for 30% off all items in the store at the time of our visit. As usual, service was friendly and efficient at this particular location. It certainly helps that the staff here knows what they are doing. My purchases were rung up immediately and I was out the door! Note to Parents Who Leave Their Children Unattended While Shopping Here: The employees of this store and all businesses are not your personal babysitters! Therefore, when you do go shopping with your precious children, who are able to walk around, keep them near you or in their stroller. Also, keep your stroller with you as well. I don’t particularly enjoy having to find an alternative route in the store because you are too LAZY to push your stroller around when you shop. If that’s too difficult for you to handle, hire a REAL babysitter to watch your children at home.

I LOVE gymboree, this Unilocal does not reflect the clothing in the slightest. Although I feel like it is expensive the sales rack are amazing and the clothing is worth it. I have 7 month old twins who are staining everything and I have to wash all of the time. The clothing doesnt shrink, fade, wear, pill. It lasts for a long time, and I can pass it on to friends in the future with no problem My issue however is with the sales staff(particularly on the day I went 3⁄7 around 11) So rude. She acted as though I was bothering her just by buying clothing. I had a few returns which she ho and hummed at. I told her she didnt need to give me a gift card, I was just going to buy with the credit. She snapped by saying«yeah i know, I have to do it this way ok». I asked her to grab me a had(that I decided I wanted to buy for $ 17) and she rolled her eyes. Meanwhile I am holding 1 of my twins, and trying to calm the other. Yeah lady… its your job, and my sales are paying your paycheck. Lastly, I didnt need a bag because I already had one. It was on the desk and she straight forcefully handed me the clothing and said«here you go» for me to put in the bag. Listen, Im not above putting it in the bag myself, but I just spent a bunch of money in your store, have a little respect. Anyways, I should have said something to her, and i would have understood more had it been busy in the store but on a wed at 11 there was only myself and 1 other customer. Thanks, I think from now on I will go elsewhere to spend my money.

So after I posted the review below, the store manager contacted me and offered to refund me my 20% coupon and honor it on purchases I made the day I came in! Very very cool. Apparently, corporate told them they couldn’t use the coupons than reversed the decision later that day. I have since shopped at this store 3 more times. I took off a star because while the staff and manager were VERY accommodating, there were minor problems with my bill 2 times out of 3 — some items were charged I didn’t take with me(easy mistake) and I didn’t get given my Gymbucks(BIG mistake) and had to remind the cashier. Again, I’m very pleased with the improvements with this store and have been shopping there more times since they were SONICE about contacting me and fixing the error.

When I had my kids I was amazed that someone would pay so much for kids clothes when you could get so much more at Old Navy or Target. Well, live and learn. The Gymboree clothes are so well made — they just get better with every wash. I never have the problem of fabric running, or seams wrapping around legs after a wash or two… and the clothes are so cute! My kids have mostly outgrown Gymboree, much to my disappointment. My daughter still wears a few items here and there, and my son still wears their shorts and I have to say that even items we get as hand-me-downs are still in perfect condition. So much so that most of those items get handed down again from us to another family. BTW, the baby blankets are the BOMB. Still have never found any that compare. I almost always give as a baby gift to new mothers, and invariably I hear back from them that it’s their favorite and they always reach for it first out of the drawer!

This is by far my favorite Gymboree store. The employees always make you feel welcome and are willing to help. I find the best bargains here and the employees make sure you get the coupon discounts. Cute and very well made clothing.

I USED to be a loyal(and high spending) customer at this Los Gatos location but a recent, horrible experience caused me to stop shopping there. I am the most easy going person and never make waves but recently due to Gymbo’s confusing promos and sizing inconsistencies(something about friends promo 30% extra or something) I purchased a pair of size 6 pants that the sales clerk at the store ASSURED me would fit my daughter only to come to find out they fit terribly small. So went back only to find no more in the next size. I wanted another pair instead(from different line) and the clerk told me no way I lost the discount, blah blah and when I mentioned the sizing inconsitencies she balked and shouted at me «well, you should have had your daughter come in and try them on!!»”” HELLO, now where in the heck would I even have the room to have my daughter to try them on anyhow since this is a teeny tiny store with no dressing room? Anyhow, I lodged a complaint to the store manager. NEVER even got a call back and even called their 800 service number and also left a complaint there. Never heard from them again. Their cs has really gone down the tubes, I am all done shopping at Gymboree, with their confusing promotions and indifferent staff:-(Not like the good old days! Just an update. Recently braved this store again and was pleased wiith the service. The prior sales clerk may have left. Hopefully for Gymboree. However, I still not happy with Gymboree corporate’s record on customer service issues. Going forward, I chose not to use this brand.
