Last Saturday was the first my 14 year-old son and I tried Sequoia Airsoft. We were warmly greeted by the Dave, the owner, as soon as we arrived. Throughout the entire day, Dave and his team took care of every detail, beginning with a thorough safety briefing to ensure a safe and fun experience for all players no matter the age. They truly run a very professional operation and make you feel welcome and appreciated. The setting could not be better!!! A redwood forest in the mountains above Los Gatos. Lots of vegetation and plenty of tree cover to keep the heat down. Though having to purchase the BBs onsite is a bit prohibitive, I understand that it does ensure everyone uses the biodegradable kind. I’m guessing a few offenders probably made them enforce this rule. I would absolutely recommend this place to the rookies and veterans. I’m scanning the other reviews and the negative comments really seem insignificant compared to the overall experience. BIGTHUMBSUP!!!

This was my first outdoor airsoft game and I had lots of fun! Sequoia Airsoft is found at the heart of the Sequoia National Park, at the summit, specifically. Entrance is $ 25 with free lunch and $ 15 for a bag of 1700 bio BBs(required). This field gives operators absolute realism outdoor-wise. Lots of trees, terrain and slinging plastic! PROS: — Very enjoyable games/scenarios — Games can get intense as hell! I cannot remember a boring part of my entire day! — Terrain is as real as it gets. It’s mostly jungle. — HUGEFIELD. Multiple firebases and landmarks. — Very skilled and very honest players. I even chatted to the other players I’ve hit. Players call their hits. — Bunkers are strategically placed. –Full-auto is allowed but I would use semi-auto most of the time.(My own strategy) — There’s a raffle!!! CONS: — Respawn areas can be a piece of work getting into. They’re far as hell. I’d recommend having medics in the teams. — $ 15 for 1700 bio BBs? COMEON! If it was 5000 Elite Force Bio BBs, I won’t have a problem with that. — You can lose your stuff on the field and not get it back. I lost a hi cap M4 mag. — The uphill-downhill terrain can take a toll on players.(I have a bad knee) — A proper staging area won’t hurt.

Landscape– 5 There is a lot of variety of terrain to this place: hills, flat areas, rivines, light foliage to heavy foliage creates a wonderful tactical situation every game
Accessibility– 4 It’s in the middle of a forest so you want to make sure you read the directions to get there. I got lost my first time because I’m too stubborn to read a map so that’s my own bad. My only complaint I can see here is that rainstorms can cause the road to washout sometimes causing people to have to drive through Corralitos to get there but the place is accessible by my Prius so the place is far from difficult to get to. other people– 5 People are friendly up here and I’ve met quite a few good friends here. People also help each other out quite a bit here as well. The people are Honorable and fun to play with. Games– 4 Each day there is a variety of games played from mil sim scenarios to standard Capture the flag other(restrooms food) — 4 since this place is in the middle of the forest they have a portable there but it is the cleanest portable I have ever seen. They do have some snacks there but you’re best off bringing some food and water yourself. I highly recommend food with potassium because you will get a workout. Referees– 5 They are fair and impartial(as someone who comes often they do not cut me any more slack then anyone else) enough said wind– 5 Playing airsoft outdoors wind can be a problem, not here. This is importand when it comes to aiming. overall– 4.57 This is the Honorable and responsible place to play.

Hi all, I am trying to set up a birthday event for my 13 year old soon to be 14 at Sequoia airsoft. I am so frustrated with their website to register and then sign up for an upcoming event on 2⁄13. Their site is TERRIBLE and thus very amateurish. I would love to sign up but things don’t work! When you try to register it does not work. Words underlined should be links but there is no link. Do not underline unless you mean to link. Can someone provide a contact # so I can reserve a spot for my and 2 friends for this event. I have emailed them regarding this. Unfortunately there is not a whole lot of choices for this kind of entertainment and they totally screw it up when there are people willing to spend money!

This was my first experience with Airsoft. and the 4 stars may be more for the sport/game than the actual field! As I struggled with army gear 4 sizes to big, and a vest and radio I realized that I could easily get lost forever in this forest! My friend who is an avid player stocked us up with all the goodies we needed, including weapons. I donned a hat(apparently to add more protection between a plastic bb and my head) and slid on my mask and headed out into warzone. I had a complete blast running around, sliding, ducking, being stealth. and of course shooting a bunch of overly testosteroned men(and boys) repeatedly! As 2 of the 4 girls there my roommate and I didn’t feel at all like targets, nor were we treated like«girls.» We actually kicked some ass and totally blasted a group of unprepared enemies. I really liked the terrain of the field because it was difficult. lots of hills, and ravines… I really felt like I was in battle… and since the bullets do not penetrate(nor hurt very much at all. I got one in the neck) I wasn’t nervous at all and felt kinda bad ass climbing up out of a ravine stalking the enemy. Afterwards I felt oddly turned on. apparently there is some truth to the theory that violence and sex are closely related.

This place i have been to about 3 times. Its an ok field. The terrain is good but its in a god awful area. Like Angelo said theres no address because its like in the middle of the forest. Dont bring any cars besides SUV’s or 4×4’s… But lets get into it more. Admission price is decent but what sucks is that you have to pay $ 15 for a bag of 1500bbs. EFF that SH… i juss usually buy one bag and bring my own and fill their bags w/my bbs. No way in hell im gunna pay $ 15 for 1500 bbs… This is good for newbie airsofters that want to start getting into airsofters. And be forewarned there are ALOT of little kids on this field. I was watching one kid getting splattered w/bb’s and he didnt call any of his hits. I actually shot him and told him to leave cuz thats cheating. But the field is full of children not caling their hits. Other than that its a good field to start off airsofting. ITs a good ground to play around with what you have and find out what you need.

Before I start I have to clear up the lack on info on this place: The reason there is no address available because, there really isn’t one available hehe. It’s about 30 minutes South of Los Gatos and if you’d like directions check their site and register for a game. Now onto what I think of this place. This is the first legit airsoft field I’ve ever played on and although I haven’t played here in quite a bit I still have fond memories about this place. Most people new to Airsoft come here and learn their likes and dis-likes of their gear or guns or their own style of play. If your new to the sport of Airsoft come to this field and you’ll have a great time. DONOTDRIVE A LOWEREDCARTOTHISPLACEYOUWILLGETSTUCK. I’ve seen it happen on more than a few occasions, although you don’t need a 4×4 to access this place, I’d recommend you drive an SUV or a truck here, you’ll see why if you go. The cost of admission to play is $ 25 and they do require that you use field ammo, which is $ 15 per bag. That last fact actually turned me off to coming here to play. I normally buy bags from AEX and have left over ammo after games so I like using the BBs before I buy more. By requiring field ammo they up the admission to $ 40 which is a little steep for a normal public game. So if your new to the game, don’t play illegally come here and play and have a good time.
