Horrible customer service. We were the only family in the store so there’s no excuse for the poor service. When the sales rep reluctantly answered our questions, she was arrogant and unprofessional. Very disappointing experience.

Me and my husband came in to update to new prescriptions and new glasses. We really liked the optometrist Dr. Parya Gaudreau — she was very sweet and funny and made us feel very comfortable. After getting our prescriptions the whole crew there was really friendly and helped us pick out our glasses (we are very indecisive and seriously needed the help!). We’re really happy with our new glasses and we’ve gotten lots of compliments from friends and family. Good quality and good selection.

I didn’t want to go in, but I trusted my wife’s good instincts.
Turned out to be a little gem of a place.
But the real gem was Jannette.
A great eyeglass specialist!
She’s a 20 year veteran that really knows her stuff!!!
We’re from Hawaii, but if at all possible, if we need glasses, we’re coming to Los Gatos to see Jannette.

The staff are extremely helpful and really nice! I’m very picky and they really were very patient with me, they helped me pick the right pair that suited me. My son and I had our eye exams with Dr Parya Gaudreau, we walked in and were seen to right away. She is an amazing doctor.

I have been going to this Site for Sore Eyes location for the past 7 years and I’ve had nothing but great experiences. I wear both glasses and contacts and I always purchase both my glasses and contacts from here. I’m absolutely loving the last pair of eye glasses I bought from here. The owner Ashraf took her time and helped me pick a pair that fits perfectly and looks great. They’re by far the most comfortable glasses I’ve ever worn and the price was reasonable.
I also get my eyes checked here every year by Dr. Parya Gaudreau and she is amazing. My prescriptions have always been accurate and the contacts (Dailies) I get here are very comfortable.
Overall I enjoy coming here and I love how friendly and helpful the staff is.

Andy Nguyen was great. He is very knowledgable and tries to find you the best pair of frames he could offer. He is very clear about your options for the lens and gives you precise price breakdown for you ti decide.

I strongly recommend potential customers to stay clear of this store! When I initially went to the store, I had to wait 10 min to enter after posted opening time. This should have been a clue. I took in my new prescription and one pair of my old frames, expressing my desire to change over my backup set of frames in the future when I picked up my first (I did not bring in my backup frames for measurement). Little did I know, I was charged for both sets of glasses on my credit card. When I picked up my first set of glasses, both my near and far vision was immediately blurry, making me dizzy while wearing them. I could not read the license plate of a vehicle parked across the street until I removed my new glasses. The owner, Ashraf said it was due to an inaccurate new prescription, and that I should return to my eye medical doctor. After I told her I was dissatisfied and wanted a refund, she said «we don’t do refunds», even though the glasses were useless to me and I had not even ordered, received, or brought in the second pair yet!
My reexamination and re-​prescription were almost identical. The lenses made by Site for Sore Eyes, according to a respected competitor, were improperly made. Incidentally, the competitor also told me I was the third customer that week who came in with problems from the Los Gatos Site for Sore Eyes store. Wow! I end up with a pair of useless eye glasses, and was out $ 890, half of which was for a pair of glasses I had not even brought into the store for fitting yet! The owner was argumentative, and refused to back down. This is the worst retail experience I have ever had, and is blatantly dishonest and greedy. I stopped payment on my credit card. Buyer beware!!!

I had visited the Site for Sore Eyes on thornwood and was not really impressed by the doctor or the customer service. The front desk was friendly enough but the doctor was a little rude and seemed rushed even though I was the only one there. My insurance had changed and this Los Gatos location was the only one accepted I made my appointment online which i LOVED as it was hassle free. I arrived about 5 min late since I was not familiar with the area. I was warmly greeted right away then someone came out to take down my insurance information. The women who greeted me turned out to be the Doctor (Payra) and I was seen right away. She was very through asked me a lot of questions about eye comfort, my old prescription, and the over all health of my eye. It was impressive because the previous location had not done any of that. Payra was very friendly, and easy to talk to. She took her time with me and answered all the questions I had. Best part was that she knew what was in her stock and I was able to get a pair of contacts before I left (I was on my last pair). She had double checked my current prescription to make sure that it was accurate and I felt like she really went above and beyond. the entire process was very quick and I was out of there within 20 min. Although I typically lag on scheduling my eye appointments I will make sure that I schedule my annual with this location time and time again. Would definitely recommend!

Wow! I walked in and showed the salesperson, Mariana, my old glasses and told her I preferred a new pair with similar shape and fit. Literally the FIRST pair she handed to me were a hit! I was so impressed. She told me she’d been in this business for over 20 years; it certainly showed. I was in and out of the shop in less than 20 minutes. I love my new glasses! Thanks Mariana!

I ran in to have my sunglasses fixed. She had all the tools and fixed them in less than five minutes. She could have charged me but didn’t. Very nice lady with great service.

Writing a review because of the amazing service. I was referred here by my optometrist because I needed a trial contact lense. The lady working took her time to dig out the exact one I needed and gave it to me after not initially finding it. I was so happy that she took the extra time to look for it. I will definitely be back to get my glasses here!!!

Excellent eye exam, no pressure on the eyeglass sale, great selection and prices.

What can I say? I have been coming here for years and the service is always great, selection of glasses terrific and product solid. Just had new lenses ordered for my sunglasses. The owners popped them in super fast and adjusted them. Bing bang boom, done and love my glasses.

We got a groupon for Site For Sore Eyes. Buy 1 pair, get 2^nd for $ 20. Wife goes in to pick up glasses. Marianna was just rude to her. Maybe they don’t like people who are looking for deals?

Finally after horrible experience with kaisers optometry. I decided to cancel my eye coverage with them. Now at this location they have a new doctor named Dr Gaudreau. She carefully examined and found out that again kaiser had given me the wrong prescriptions for my contacts. After carefully testing she came up with the right prescription which was way different. Now my vision is absolutely perfect. I just can’t believe kaiser with its new building and new equipment is such a horrible place to go for just a simple eye exam. Now I know where to go for all my eye contacts and glasses needs.

I have been a client for about 10 years and I cannot say enough about the service and customer care both my husband and I receive from Ash and Marianne… if there is a problem they stand behind their product and will do everything to right a situation. I love their choices and the prompt delivery of new glasses… Would not go anywhere else!!! Thank you guys!!!

Apparently appointments don’t matter at this place. I had an exam scheduled for Saturday (you only can have on sat or wed, apparently those days are only days eyes need a «look» !,!!! My time was 11am but there were 3 more ahead of me at my time. I understand the space is small but if Saturdays are your big days get more staff… No one helps you as one is on phone constantly calling their other palo alto office to locate los gatos stuff wrongly delivered as I am forced to listen to other patrons complaints. One staff is trying out frames but there is a queue for her as well. The roaming eye dr is nice when you finally get to «see» him. My advice if you are coming here for exam is book multiple back to back exam times so that when «others» miss their slot, you can be «seen» on time… or go elsewhere where service is a priority

I have had nothing but good experiences here. The staff including the doctor is very friendly and helpful.
I tend to be very indecisive when it comes to choosing my frames and they helped me find the right pair.
Ashraf, the owner does everything in her power to get you what you need!
