Can’t say enough great things about this place. If you enjoy BOLD REDS with lot’s of flavor and deep nuances that interest your palate this is your place. I was lured in when I found out it’s a PASO winery. I tend to love a lot of wines from that region. LENNY was super cool and friendly to us and even gave us a swig of some rare special occasion wine that they normally don’t open. We went to 4 other places that in our opinion were all mediocre. There’s much to explore as far as tasting rooms go but I suggest you start here and then try some other spots and compare. They also have a tasting room in PASO where the winery is located.

Stopped in here by chance and had a great tasting experience with Lenny!
The 2013 Viognier and the 2011 Clairvoyant are my personal favourites, as well as the 2006 Late Harvest Viognier!
Don’t come in here expecting a super fancy tasting experience… this isn’t a large corporate deal. This is a small time winery with some small time wines with some big time flavours!
If you are in the Los Olivos, definitely add Carina Cellars to your list of places to try!

Been going to the Solvang area for years wine tasting. Usually I go DURING the week when there are far less crowds. Last year and this I went on a weekend. That’s when I met Lenny @ your Los Olivos store. A very knowledgeable and friendly guy that brings a breath of fresh air to the wine industry with an outstanding and warm personality. Your wines too are also outstanding. Keep it Up! We’ll be back!
