Mucho Bueno food and service at this luncheon place. I had chicken, pesto, and feta ciabatta sandwich which was excellent. Service was superb with the woman behind the counter helpful, and prompt. What a relief after bad service and no food at a place in Santa Ynez!

Food is great service is TERRIBLE. Today my wife and I walked in at 3:50 to order food. All chairs had already been put inside and as we walked outside to wait for our food the door slammed behind us and our food was brought out to go. Typically they have water for patrons but at the time it was not available having me to purchase water. To top it off my wife had ordered a salad and was given a sandwich. Too hurried to close when according to the sign they were still open. Not cool.

We came because of a recommendation from another Unilocaler. We were delighted with the fresh quality of all we had. Both husband and I had the ½ salad ½ sandwich on wheat sour dough bread. I had turkey and Bries sandwich with green peppers so huge I could hardly bite it. My husband had turkey and salami sandwich. We were not disappointed. My Asian pear, walnut and Stilton cheese salad exploded with taste in my mouth. My husband had an equally delightful Greek Salad. If you find yourself in Los Olivos eat only here.

Stopped here to grab some goodies for our picnic basket before hitting the wineries. There sandwiches are off the hook delish!!! I got the #23 Goat cheese with sun dried tomatoes, roasted peppers, basil and a leafy lettuce on focaccia. Even though there was a line, don’t let that scar you away, the service is very fast and they are very polite!!!

One of the best Italian sandwich I’ve had. And it is not just because I was hungry after our long riding. It was very tasty. I got half salad and half sandwich. Great, friendly service!!!

A great place to go for a quick lunch! I had the roasted chicken sandwich with pesto and sun dried tomatoes and I added avocado. So amazing! Two thumbs up. And I shared a giant cookie with one of my girl friends! Great sandwich spot. Friendly workers and the food comes out quickly.

Food was tasty, I ordered the roasted turkey sandwich and my husband ordered the Greek salad. Both were nice sized portions. The lady at the register was nice, the lady who brought our food was friendly. The place is small but seating is available outside, looked like an outdoor seating area adjacent to the restaurant. Easy and close parking. Few blocks from hwy 154. We thought it was expensive but considering it was a tourist area we are not complaining.

Yum! Love their #12 sandwich– roasted chicken, pesto, pine nuts, sun dried tomatoes. This is our new fav spot to get some food while we wine taste in Los Olivos!

3.5 stars. Chain but it’s cuter in this town for some reason, maybe because everything is cuter when on vacation/roadtripping.

I meant to write a review about his quaint little sandwich shop in Los Olivos. First off parking was easy, it’s street parking but the town is so small no matter where you park you can easily walk to the shop. There is usually a line, the line can take a while so be patient, ordering was easy and the staff has good knowledge about the food. I ordered the curried chicken salad, it was perfect and well balanced with curry to mayo and the lettuce was a spring mix which I loved. We sat outside which was lovely as it was a good people watching place. I would recommend this little café and would visit it next time I come up for a visit.

Ordered the turkey /caprese sandwich on wheat. Generous portion, tasted extremely fresh. Service here is exceptional. Sandwiches are pricey but definitely worth the $ 10 – 12 dollar range. Seating is limited inside, ample seating outside under umbrellas.

It gets the job done… as in, it’ll soak up all that vino you’ve just consumed. It is also most likely the cheapest eats within the vicinity.

Here in Los Olivos you’re either going to pay for a $ 9.00 sandwich at the local «County Mark» or $ 15 dollars here after you get chips and a drink. This place is clean, friendly, and has nice seating near wineries. My favorite local winery is next door so you can get some wine with you food. Besides the liquor store in town, this is as cheap as it gets. I like the chicken curry salad. It’s really good and a good portion. The sandwiches are well made and the staff is always nice.

Great lunch spot in Los Olivos! Actually, it’s one of the only casual lunch spots in this area ;) I came with a group of 9 right before the Saturday lunch rush(and boy was there one!). I ordered the ½ salad ½ sandwich combo with the Asian pear-walnut salad and the tuna salad sandwich on focaccia. I was really happy with both, especially the salad. Asian pear is yum! The tuna was a bit dry though. I wish it had a better sauce, although I did enjoy all the veggies in it. Overall cute little place with friendly people!

The Panini Cobb is a delicious salad. Great sandwiches with great fresh ingredients. Out door seating or take your lunch to the wineries. Perfect lunch spot! Fast friendly service.

Our wine tour came with lunch from Panino. I had the Cobb salad and loved it. Loved the sliced turkey and ham instead of the usual commercially cubed meats in Cobbs. I wish the balsamic dressing was not as thick but overall great complement to the salad. It was huge and I ate about a quarter of it before I got full. The rest of the group had sandwiches and everyone was only able to eat about half of their huge sandwiches.

Was up in Santa Barbara wine country for a lovely weekend trip and came onto Panino’s for lunch. As all the previous reviews have mentioned, this is a pretty basic sandwich shop that offers a good variety of sandwiches and salads for both meat eaters and veggie eaters. They have different sections for each. There is minimal seating inside, where most of the seating is actually out on the patio. On a good day like the day we were there it’s a very nice thing. The food… was good. After all, it takes skill to screw up a salad and a sandwich. Her salad looked very good and other than sneaking a quick bite in…(oops, sorry)…I can’t really comment. I got the mixed veggie sandwich. It had interesting variation in textures and it’s combination of veggies was pretty good. I will say as someone mentioned in their post, for what you get the price is a tad bit high. Then again, Los Olivos is a tourist town and they can pretty much charge what they want as long as people keep coming. Are there better options in town? Probably, but if you’re looking for something light this is probably one of the better options in town.

My wife’s favorite sandwich chain, and the third location we’ve been to. She always goes goofy for their honey mustard. I was a little underwhelmed this time around. The prosciutto was a kinda annoyingly tough, and there was a LOT of Stilton on that sucker. Maybe I just picked the wrong sandwich for me.

I am still thinking about the chicken pesto sandwich I ate here. What is it about chicken and pesto that is so delicious? Not to mention that this sandwich also had fresh pine nuts and sun dried tomatoes. It’s like all my favorite things between two slices of delicious, soft sourdough bread. My friend tried their curry chicken salad which was good, but surprisingly sweet. The salads are quite large and are definitely sufficient for a meal or two. FYI– This is a great spot for lunch if you are wine tasting in Los Olivos. Plus the food will help soak up the alcohol so you can try out a few more tasting rooms ;)
