My wife & I and another couple stopped here enroute home from a wine club pickup party at Hearst Ranch Winery. So glad we did. We were fortunate that it was early in the day and we were the only ones present as Geof opened the tasting room for business. None of us were pinot fans but Geof converted us by a knowledgeable presentation as he explained the complexities of their wine production, along with guidance in the tastings. We opted to join the wine club and took home a case of very tasty wines. We’re looking forward to returning!

Nice guy Jeff! Big pours and he is generous opening wines to sample. Jazz playing in background nice touch. Very finely crafted wines, all excellent.

My husband and I have visited this winery and taken several friends with us. While the 2nd time we didn’t enjoy as much due to the hospitality issues of the pourer, I liked their wine so I thought I’d overlook that issue(from March 2015) and take 4 of my girlfriends here. All of them loved the wine, it was the only winery we visited where all 5 of us made purchases. Additionally they offer discounts for purchasing 3,6,12 bottles of wine(at this time, not sure if they always offer that) For reds they currently only do Pinot Noir, they also had a Chardonnay; which is the one we all enjoyed and purchased. It has a slight tannin to it and it was perfect. Would recommend a stop here, generally a fun place when you get a great hostess at the bar.

The chardonnay is Devine, Smooth and succulent. The rose is to die for, a must have.

Some of the best wine I’ve had. Amazing Pinot Noir. Quiet and dark, with some blues music in the background. Mostly inside seating. Easy parking. I’d recommend going late on Sunday as it’s less crowded. For the quality of wine it’s very well priced. Jeff was behind the bar and he was a character as interesting as the wine. Definitely will go back.

Probably went to over 20+ wineries/tasting rooms in the Santa Barbara area… Toretti was my favorite. I have never been too fond of reds but Geof was determined to find something I would like. I left with a bottle and whole new chapter of knowledge in wine! Thanks! We will be back!

used a Groupon and got excellent service! Jeff explained every tasting to us as well as information about their vineyards and the local area. Purchased a bottle and will definitely return.

Of all the wineries I have ever been to in CA, this is by far the worst service I have ever had. The initial greeting was okay, but then my friend(from England) and I were treated like second class citizens, and not attended to at all. The server was fixated on the party next to us engaging in discussions about his sex life. Ew. We had to wait very long intervals in betweens tastings and finally left before our 5th tasting because he would not serve us in a timely manner, even after we asked for the next one. He’d give us a one-liner comment about the wine he served us and immediately continued his off-color discussion with the girls next to us. We will never go back, even though there was one bottle we would have like to purchase we decided not to give him our business. Groupon schmoopon – still not worth it! Go to Brander or one of the MANY wonderful other wineries in Los Olivos.

The wine is very good. The pours are generous as stated in other reviews. However, the person operating the tasting room made several misogynistic and rude comments. He made the experience unpleasant and it was difficult to enjoy the wine because we were so put off by the commentary.

Last stop on the tasting room rounds turned out to be the best. The interior is appointed with cushy sofas and interesting decorative pieces. You can sit for a while and drink the heavy pours they give you. But it was the wines that really stood out. — Chardonnay was quite good for being Pinot specialists — Rose of Pinot was nice and dry without being over dry — 2012 Pinot Noir Inocencio nice simple complexity, not too jammy, easy to drink — 2013 Pinot Noir bolder and more complex, things are getting interesting and I was contemplating buying everything up to then — 2013 Inocencio/Valentino mix(more Inocencio) was a bit confusing to me and couldn’t tell a whole lot of difference from the previous wine — 2013 Valentino/Inocencio(more Valentino) hit me with impact as complex, fruity, well rounded, everything a Pinot should be — 2011 Pinot Noir that won Gold at SF Chronicle really light yet full body with a variety of things going on so with complexity, something that you want to drink chilled on a summer day All were wonderful wines with the last 2013 clone mix really standing out for me. I bought two bottles of that and a Rosada de Pinot Noir.

If you like Pinots, this is the place for you. There wine tasting was comprised of 6 + 2 bonus wines. Very friendly and informative pourer who is part of the family that owns the winery. Very generous pours. To top it off the tasting was complimentary, probably because I bought a bottle — not sure though. A few of the Pinots were quite bold and delicious. May pair well with steak. Their tasting room is not at their vineyard, rather it was in the town of Los Olivos — which is a very nice town to visit since there seems to be 3 to 4 tasting rooms to a block.

Toretti was awesome! My wife & I sat outside and paired the chocolate & wine tastings. Their Pinots were simply some of the best around. Had great service by Jeff who was a true professional and very personable. We took home a bottle of the 2011 Pinot and plan to enjoy it with some BBQ pork ribs. We will be back in the future!

I am a lover of Pinot noir, and the best I have ever tasted comes from the Toretti family vineyard. Just one taste caused both myself and brother-in-law to join the club immediately. Don’t hesitate in trying this wine, the pallet will be extremely satisfied. This wine deserves top honors!

This place was great. Excellent wines. I think I walked out of there having way more wine than the normal tasting amounts. Very generous with the servings. Jeff has the best personality and we sat there for 2 hours talking to him. What a great night. We closed the place down and he didn’t even kick us out after closing time. A real gem.

This place is AMAZING!!! The best Pinot Noir in California. They won Gold, Silver, and Bronze in the SF Chronicle awards this year. You have not tasted Pinot until you’ve had there’s. Geof, the weekend host is incredibly knowledgeable about their wines and wine in general, among other interesting things. I’ve been drinking Pinot for years, and this is my new favorite vineyard. Only 5 acres, but packed with a most excellent punch. Don’t delay, do yourself a big fat favor, and check it out.

Just opened an 09 Pinot we bought several years ago. Dusty bottle hidden in my cellar and hate to say, we forgot about this little winery in Los Olivos. Well, go buy a case and hide it for a few years as this was a magical glass of wine. And if you just get a bottle, you’ll kick yourself. Wish I bought more. What a glass of wine. This is Pinot at its best.

This place was so fun! They have a double bass in the room for no particular reason, and the guy who did our tasting was so nice. We chatted for awhile and he even threw in a few extras.
