This was such a good/fun tasting experience! When we entered we were happily greater by the«mermaid» working and one of the artists. She started us with a tasting and the artist gave us a quick tour of his art. I throughly enjoyed our little art walk and getting the run down of his work. The tasting consisted of 6 healthy pours and an opportunity to revisit any of the wines. The mermaid = Lars, was informative/knowledgeable and fun to talk with. There is so much to look at while there, and you can even paint a picture as you taste! We visited on a Wednesday and were the only two in the place. So happy to have found this tasting room, it’s a must visit for their customer service, blended wines, vivid artwork and great deals on wine!

A really fun place! Admittedly this wasn’t our first winery of the day and everyone in our group(me, my boyfriend, and his grandparents) were all pretty tipsy. We had a great time! I got a bit distracted by the easel painting a beach landscape and so can’t say much about the flavor of the wine except that I liked it… The paintings on the ceilings and on every bottle of wine is a very festive and creative touch for wine drinkers and patrons!

What a wonderful surprise! This winery specializes in blends and thier Red blends are«Off The Hook» good! I fell in love with the Fruition(Pictured), a GSM blend with a «Twist» 3% Viognier … so 54% Grenache, 36% Syrah, 7% Mourvedre, &3% Viognier … OUTSTANDING! Hard to find this little Gem, but don’t give up, until you do. Cheers

Really cool place that you could create your own painting while you have a great wine tasting. Total relaxation with wonderful staffs! Would come back again!

Coolest tasting room in Los Olivos! The vibe is so fun with it being an art gallery as well as a tasting room. Wines were awesome and they had snacks like bread with different flavors of olive oil and vinegars. Loved how they had coasters, wine glasses, and candles all with really cool art. Plus they have a canvas where you can paint, which gets fun after a few pours of wine :) Would definitely come back here again!

We came here as our second and last stop of the day. The staff are amazing. Roberto was extremely friendly, helpful and generous. We were given more than promoted, exact details about all the wines and great conversation. I would recommend this as a first! If you’re new to the area, they have great suggestions as to where to go next. And their olive oil is fantastic. Enjoy!

Probably one of the best tasting rooms I’ve been to. I liked the majority of the wines I tried so joined their club. Any time I take Artiste wine to a party or dinner people really like it. The bottles alone are worth a discussion. The member’s lounge in the back is a blast. I make a visit each time I’m up there and always look forward to my shipments. Great boutique winery with a welcoming feel!

You know how welcome all the patrons are made to feel on Cheers? Kind of like that… again and again and again! This is always my first stop in Los Olivos. And seems to be the final stop, too… I just love it that much. It’s how I want to start and end each and every trip up to Los Olivos, Santa Ynez and that whole wine area. Robert is the nicest, classiest, friendliest guy you could meet and will guide you through all of the wines with great stories and knowledge. The room is so delightful and filled with wonderful art, labels and some of the best smelling candles EVER. I highly recommend the Pomegranate or Kiwi Lemongrass… Mmmm. And the wines? Fuggetaboutit… Art inside and outside the bottle… Always delicious and always a highlight!!!

This place is a gem! Delicious wine, eccentric labels that coordinate with the names of the wines! Amazing service, Phillip is wonderful, and a chill fun atmosphere. There’s a painting section where you can unleash your inner artist as you taste delightful sips of vino. Go!

Love the wines here and the beautiful labels on all the bottles. They make great candle holders after you have finished the wine. The tasting room has a artsy vibe and everyone is knowledgeable about the different blends. Always one of my favorite stops in town! Love the candles sold here made out of the bottles.

Love Artiste tasting bar. Not only is it a cute tasting room to browse around and hang out, there’s even an easel with paint and paint brushes ready for you to explore your inner artist, unleashed by good wines. A picture is worth a thousand words –00– see my pic! Marelina was the sweetest and we had such a lovely time chatting with her and sharing stories as we enjoyed generous pours. Oh and don’t forget to do your Unilocal!checkin for a treat, wink wink! The back room is «members only» although we checked it out since it was a quiet time of the day. Cool art work. I love that they pick four artists each year and rotate through. Interesting to learn that they match the art that each artist come up to the wine. How cool is that? Wine blends inspired by art! Definitely a must stop anytime we are in the area! And bonus points for being kids friendly.

Love the blends that Artiste has to offer. Surprisingly I purchased bottles of Sauv Blanc and Rose today. I always love when Robert is pouring wine as he is very knowledgeable about everything. Thanks Artiste for another great experience!!!

Amazing wine. Amazing guy that serves the wine. Gotta come here. My favorite was the girlfriends wine. I bought a bottle. The labels are of paintings with texture. Not just regular wine labels. Gave awesome info on my hotel choice. If u are picking a tasting room this place is definitely a place to try.

The guy pouring was super nice, it was a great laid-back sort of tasting room with a lot of fun art… I really wanted to love this place, but I felt their wine all tasted pretty similar, and none of it grabbed me at all. It was all pretty bitter and didn’t seem that flavorful. Too bad, too — we were here because of the Santa Barbara(w ine) Passport, which granted us not only free tastings but also 10% off wine. I was all ready to take advantage of that and buy a bunch, but they didn’t really have anything I was interested in buying. If you like really tannic stuff, you might like them more…

I had such a wonderful experience at this tasting room! Enjoyed every one of the wines in the line up, plus they were so courteous and dog friendly that it was a very comfortable and relaxing stop. Considering becoming a member in the near future so we can visit more frequently.

We were very IMPRESSIONIST with the flavors, and it didn’t cost a lot of MONET, even if you’re POU. DEGAS all kinds of delicious blends. Seriously, you must VANGOGH and have ARANDA the best wines in town. It’s the Walter Emerson BOMB! ‘OLLER!

had such a great time tasting and painting at this adorable winery the service was super friendly — not pretentious or snooty at all and the pours quite generous i really love the fact they combine two things i really like — art and wine and turn it into an experience

Great tasting room with some great wines! Have come here over the years. Within the last year have had a couple bad experiences with a pourer who worked there, but the owner of the winery reached out to me and did right! I was very impressed that he took the time to contact me, apologize, and invite me back. Had a great time with Lauri pouring for us, and Robert and Roberto(both pourers as well) adding in to the conversation and giving us their opinions on the wines as well! I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you are into red blends. They only are pouring one white right now, I believe.

This was a part of our wine tasting tour with the Cloud Climber. It has very«artsy» ambiance with painting canvas available in the tasting room for visitors to just express themselves. The store posts some of those artworks by the visitors on the ceiling and it was full of those paintings/doodling. This place is very unique because apparently, they make their wine based on the artwork selected to be placed on the wine label. For this reason, bottles also become collection item and the store has a wall dedicated to display bottles with various artwork labels. I think the concept is really unique and really cool but the wine itself just really didn’t meet my expectation/preference. At one time, the pour spout fell off onto my husband’s wine glass and the lady just said«oh, I don’t know how that happened» and not even a word of apology. Kind of unprofessional in my opinion…
