They charged me $ 350 to tow my car 15 miles or so. I’ve never had a tow around here, so I’m not sure what the standard prices are, but that seems very steep.
While at the shop, I was talking with them about the work to be done. One of their friends walks in, and they stop talking to me mid-​sentence and then make me listen to small talk for five minutes before finishing their explanation, which was basically that they would let me know by phone later.
Later, over the phone, they said that the repairs would cost between $ 200 and $ 400 but that they would not know until they put the car on the rack. I called later to check, and they were extremely rude on the phone and told me they’d get it done within the next week or so.
A week later, they called and told me what would need to be replaced. I said go ahead, assuming it would be between $ 200 and $ 400, because no prices were mentioned. You can imagine my surprise when I got to the shop and the bill was over a thousand dollars. I guess they didn’t think it would be necessary to tell me the price had almost tripled from the original estimate.
Stay very far away from this place. Not only do they rob you blind, they are rude while they do it.
